Well, I think that's kind of proof that she washed the pants BEFORE she contacted the police. Am I missing something here?

She at least REMOVED the pants before they contacted police. Just kinda hid them. Hmmmm...hiding evidence from LE, sounds like a family affair.

I have a scanner, and when I have called the police, and listen to the scanner the dispatching officer does not always relay the same information to the responding officer.

That's what I'm saying!

Lets face it when the police arrived at the house they where dealing with a child that had not been seen for 31 days, they were not interested in the car. It was not until they realized that they were dealing with a habitual lair that they had to turn there attention to the car and every thing else.

That would be a serious error then! She said the car smelled like a dead body! In any investigation concerning a crime... THAT should be reported.
exactly.

IMO the responding officers should have looked at the car with Cindy's permission and asked if they could take it. I am betting that she would have said you bet..take it away.
It had been in the tow yard, she didn;t know what was going on and she would have helped IMO.

Carrington...if the smell was so bad, how could the officers not noticed it? and report of a dead body smell on a 911 call not reported to the officers? IF that were the case, then makes it look like LE really blew it.
So, either LE blew it or the smell was not that big of a deal.
Either which way if the car wasn't important, then the pants weren't important. That is why I think Cindy told the repsonding officers about the pants an they didn;t care at all.
The detectives on the 4th cared though.

And why do you think Cindy told the first officers about the pants?

I really and truly want to see whoever hurt Caylee get punished. If Casey killed Caylee she should be severely punished. But at this point I could careless what happens,.. just as long as THEY FIND CAYLEE!!!!! Worry about all the other stuff afterwards. It hurts me to think of that poor child's body laying god knows where and her not having a proper burial OR with god knows who and what is happening to her. I just want them to find her!!!!!!!
I just don't understand how a MOTHER could not seem to care about her adorable child? EVERYONE else in this world seems to care more than her!!!!!!!!! jmo

I don;t disagree with you. But if this is the way it went down, then Cindy washing the pants was not a big deal either because she was also operating under the premise of a missing child. Just like LE.
If the car was of no interest then neither were the pants.

Do we know where the car was parked?
Garage, street, across the street or down the block?

Exactly....I used to work in dispatch. Cindys call would have been classified as a possible kidnapping or missing child. Using a code, probably. Like a 10-50 or 10-16....I can't remember all the codes.

If my grandchild was missing, and my car smelled like a dead body, I don't care if the number one, most decorated, smartest detective on the force said the car didn't matter, IT WOULD MATTER TO ME. I wouldn't have touched anything in it until LE checked it out. Cindy's not stupid and naive, she knows that.

Well then why didn;t the responding officers react or respond to the decomp smell in the car?
I think the dogs were brought out 2 days(?) later. When was the car impounded? Did they ask George and Cindy if they could search the car and take it in?

That was not what you asked my dear JB, you referred to the smell of the decomp in the Ramsey basement... The place where she was last seen and put to bed the prior evening.. The logical and obvious place to search is the house, and the smell of decomp coming from the door would definately lead you to her. I'm not saying an error imo was not made, Im just saying the comparison is different when you add the smell to the Ramsey case.

Yep. George is ex-LE. He knows what to do with possible evidence.

HM, I am not prepared to admit this to myself yet, but I will to you- I do not think Baby Caylee is going to be found. I think we will know what happened to her, but not be able to bury her, which sickens me.

Tearing up as I write this.

Caylee is either in water, or she was placed in a dumpster. There will be no way to find her remains. Sometimes life is so unfair.

But, God will take care of Caylee. Please, all, pray to Him on her behalf.

Dumpster, not water, imo. Yes please everyone take 5 and pray for this sweet angel.
Lets focus on what we can find out to give her the only peace we can, putting the focus on the beautiful little light she is.

I agree with HouseMouse...........

I agree with housemouse too.....at least that the body was disposed of in some inhumane way.....was just curious as to weather housemouse had visions of this, or this was just a gut feeling, as it is my gut feeling

Hey everybody I just listened to the 911 calls and after Cindy made the second call from the house a police officer was dispatched and on his way, when Cindy made the third call and said the car smelled she then said the officer is here. So the responding officer would not have known about the smell from dispatch, he would have known if Cindy had told him upon his arrival.

So this means Cindy put her foot in her mouth and didn't disclose this info to officers after they arrived??????:silenced:
