The clothing they found was a size five for a junior, not a child size. Casey and Caylee weren't out camping in the woods, remember they had a home? I doubt these things found in the woods have anything to do with this case. It makes no sense that Casey would leave backpacks and clothes in the woods if she was hiding a body. That pile of stuff looks like some teenagers were hanging out there.

I live in San Diego California. We hike all the time and see random stuff like this just lyeing around. I'm not talking about camps for the illegals either. I have teenagers and they have a hangout the looks just like the pictures of the wooded area posted. I showed my 15 year old son those pictures and he said, "looks like our emo spot."

My daughter is average sized and has worn true to size in Gymbo, Gap and other brands since she was born. 4 and wearing size 4/5 now. Guess it's all speculative at this point. To me, a 2 year old wearing a size 5 is a stretch but not impossible. JMO.

She is/was almost 3 though. I think it depends on the brand of clothing. That having been said I don't feel strongly that it was Caylee's clothing. I would like it to be because then I would feel like we are getting somewhere. Actually looking for Caylee rather then playing games with all the drama seekers in this crazy making case.

I own a black tank exactly like the one in the photos. (Checked my closet, yes it's still there.) If it like mine, it's the sports type that has the built in bra. It looks very much like it does. That black tank is definitely an adult size.

I have the same tank top too. Target special, lol.

My two year old wears a 5. I hope that these items help solve some crime, but I don't think they have any connection to Caylee.

I couldn't agree more. Still can not get over the fact that it has taken caring strangers to get out and look for Caylee but Caylee's own family just sits on their arses at home......... This is one thing I just can not comprehend unless they already know she's gone and know where she is...........

I do not think that the Anthony's are good people. That said, I would like to say this. During the search for a 6 year old girl in MI, her mother was so hounded by the media that she couldn't walk out of the house. They would follow her when she went to the store. The police told her that they would be happy to have her help doing interviews and handing out flyers, but they didn't want her actually going out and searching physical locations. They were concerned about any potential evidence being destroyed and the search teams not being able to do their job if she were there drawing the media. That may be what happened with the Anthony's. LE may have asked that they not participate, due to the media. Just a theory.

Has the anonymous letter been posted anywhere on the forum? I'm way behind from last night. Thanks!

I can definitely see that. My only issue there is then why wouldn't they come forward and say this. The media is not immune to be reprimanded or reminded of how 'out of bounds' they really can get. Heck, if half of the media circus that is down there would even take 10 minutes out of their day and go do a little searching on their own, we could have the entire state of Florida searched in no time and probably solve several crimes at once. I feel bad in general for LE and for victims of crimes like this. They end up being traumatized again and again by the crime itself and then by the media.......

I will agree that if that is the case, then they should have said something. But remember up until a few days ago the media were their best friends. I still wonder exactly what happened there...:waitasec:

Eyewitness News learned that a third party, only identified as a well-known journalist, put Casey's attorney, Jose Baez, in contact with Tony Padilla Bail Bonds in Sacramento.

Wonder what Rita Cosby is up to these days?

My husband just made a good point - the psychich said she saw flowers at caylee or casey's feet (not sure which one exactly). The sandal found in the park has a flower on the top.

True.....but I think they described it as a lot of flowers, maybe even wildflowers

Does anyone who is local know what day of the week the GJ holds hearings?

I ask because I feel that if some evidence is in the next step will be a GJ hearing where the DA will ask for a capitol murder charge. And as long as there is some evidence he will get that charge from the GJ. Then they have atleast 6 months to a year prior to trial to work this out.
It's supposed to be secret.

The grand jurors are assigned for a period of time (a year or two, I think) and can be convened at any time.

I can't see why she would've dumped the clothes there either, especially if that's near where Caylee is ~ so, I'd really be surprised if any of the stuff turns out to be related to Casey or Caylee.

Is that a blanket at the top and to the right of the flip flop? Kinda under the rope too.

Looks like a sweatshirt, possibly of the hooded variety to me. It appears to be made of ribbed cotton like a thin, thermal light 'hoodie' would be. The "rope" looks more like a draw string or possibly a shoe lace to me.
