Sarge,
A local bondsman puts up $500,000 and then Tony P pays back the $500,000 and assumes responsibility for the bond? Is that correct?

How does that work? Does Tony give the local bondsman the cash and then the local transfers the bond to him? If she does not appear for court, then Tony loses the full amount? Sorry for so many questions. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Beagle1, here is the location from yesterday:

Tony seems very honest in his posts.

He did say on Greta that "No money changes hands".....

Just the bond itself.

The bond will be secured by Tony Padilla.

So, if Casey escapes Tony must pay the Florida Court 500k.

If she commits suicide he does NOT have to pay.

If she goes to court.. He does not have to pay.

Fox is saying bounty hunter on the ground. They're showing footage of him at the airport now.

I just saw where the bounty hunter did arrive here in florida. Guess he took a later flight for whatever reason. Sorry to have gotten up hopes, like mine too, that he wasn't coming.

They said that neither he nor Tony have talked with the family over the phone or in person, same goes with the jail. They said he has a 50/50 shot of Casey getting out and if she does, it will be tomorrow, if not Tuesday.

This is NOT how it works.....(I teach medical ethics to senior med. students). Doctors don't just hand out a prescription on a patient's whim. Most times a physician will only hand out a prescription for a narcotic/controlled substance after other options are first taken and then, only in a LIMITED amount with no refills.....

(sigh), unless of course you are my EX who will write me anything I ask for...but that s not how it is taught....We really stress a code of professionalism in american medical schools.

I have to respectfully disagree. They hand them out in this state like candy. In fact some of the doctors are almost pushers. That's how they keep the pts
coming back.
I think it differs from state to state. I have lived in several states and have seen the problem repeatedly.
My daughter, who works with juveniles, tells me that prescriptions drugs are the drugs of choice for a lot of them.
IMHO

Definitely totally agree with you here. I think it depends on the doc but all of the docs I have had have always been prescription happy. If you wanted something, you could get it.

I have to agree with you. Here in central PA there are many docs that give you whatever you ask for. As a matter of fact one local doc is facing court over suppling a drug dealer with pills.

I know. This is where it really shows to me that he really didn't do much research on this case at all and is doing it more for the publicity than anything else. JMO.

Darn it! I WISH one of these reporters would as Cowboy to explain why in the heck her attorney is going along with this. Cowboy says he's going to get the truth out of her. We are supposed to believe that is just fine with Baez, even though it will probably lead to her conviction? And even though he hasn't let her talk to LE or even her family? WHY is he going to let her talk to Cowboy?

Mimommy, I'm doing the same. Yesterday independent searchers found these clothes near a soccer field parking lot, I forget where. LE took several bags of evidence. It's in the thread....caylee-possible physical locations.

Here's the photos they took.

I know of one doctor that had a bunch of his patients strung out on drugs. He was turned in to the director of the clinic by a group of nurses. They had to deal with the out of control women who called "earlier" then they should have when they ran out. They demanded early refills. The man had to pick up and leave town. LOL.

The thought of Casey on downers is not out of the question in my mind.

Blanchard Park. The location Casey mentions in the phone call with Lee that she may have lost her 'blackjack'.

i find this whole bounty hunter thing so dubious. as if this case couldn't get anymore ridiculous and pre-made for tv, a reality show comes knocking on the door??!!! the bounty hunter could not care less if there is a some "humanity in this woman." he simply cares about getting his fee and returning her to the authorities for her next hearing (and in this case, publicity for his television show). this is driving me crazy!

i am still banking on LE to release new evidence and subsequently up her bond, etc. i really can't see them letting her go this easily (or maybe i just refuse to...)

*sigh* Well, I hope McCain arriving and the approaching storm took SOME of the attention off Cowboy, anyway
