So they interviewed her all night long until 4:30 pm with no lawyer present?! Uh oh.

She wasn't a suspect or under arrest until after the Universal Studio fiasco late in the afternoon on the 16th. The detective only asked her one thing after arresting her, and that's was if she wanted to change her story. She said no. And that was the last time the detectives spoke to Casey.

I think what is beginning to trouble me and has since Friday afternoon is the number of people that do not want to find Caylee is actually growing around Casey.

I've felt this for a while, absolut. Seems those closest to Caylee want her found only if she can be found alive, and perhaps that's because they either know or are all but positive that she isn't and don't want to lose their daughter/sister/friend/what-have-you as well.

I've always felt such sorrow for the family, even when they've said some nutty/untrue things...but the combination of recent "mistruths" and lack of physical searches organized and announced by the family is really making it difficult for me to believe that their sole concern is finding Caylee. They may be holding on to a shred of hope, and I can understand that, but they are definitely in major protect-Casey-mode (if not, they're doing a darn good impression of it).

Poor Caylee :(

Now that certainly isn't true at all! DNA, blood, bodily fluids, hair evidence, and the new air test can prove a body was there at one time.

If they have all that yes it will but in the Michigan case they did not have all those things so the dog hits were NOT allowed.

We are still waiting for all those tests to prove a body was there but just the dogs hiting DOES NOT prove anything by its self so what I said is certainly true.

its possible this is the same people that poster saw. just at a different place.

Just getting back here after reading the entire JG thread. Yes, it is possible as the dates coincide. But, it is a strange incident. It's the cadaver dogs hits that don't equate with that scenario, unless it was another body???

It seems to me like most cases get more and more convoluted as time goes by. Then, usually, if they are solved, it turns out it was all pretty simple and involved a lone act by some selfish, sociopathic 🤬🤬🤬.

Respectfully snipped to focus on this point

Seems to me that raw cases are very convoluted until they are worked by LE and outstanding prosecutors. The prosecutors work very hard to get the case pared down to where they can present it in an understandable form to 12 jurors in various walks of life.

She was a suspect in the other crimes tho...the credit cards and the car. Does that matter?

Poor Caylee :(

You know I think I am getting more upset at the friends especially ones before May 24th. Ones who knew Casey as a mom to Caylee. Where is the help from them the searches near the apartments, near the amscot, near everywhere in the police reports. The family is doing what they need to do, fine I get that. Where is Caylee's voice? I heard it the first jailhouse phonecall from Christine? Where is it now?

It was towed less than 24 hours later I believe.

LE knew about the car on the 15th and it does not take 24 hours to get a warrant in a suspected homicide.

Actually, the dogs hitting is admissible evidence. It is up to a jury to decide if that is proof beyond a reasonable doubt.

I don't think it was a suspected homicide until Casey took them on the wild goose chase on the 16th. Until then, there was probably no reason to think Caylee hadn't been taken by a babysitter. The parents didn't mention the death smell to the detectives who responded.

They didn't even get to the house til almost 10pm on the 15th.

Dispatch doesn't relay the dead body statement to the first responders, the Anthony's neglect to mention to LE the dead smell. Time to get a search warrant signed by a judge. Yep, I can see why the car wouldn't have been picked up till the 17th.
Hey Suzi. I challenge that because LE shows up during the 911 call where Cindy is beside herself with the realization that Caylee is gone and the car smells like a dead body. I am of the opinion that she told them the same things she told the 911 operator because they arrived just moments later, actually while they were still on the line. So while I agree that the dispatch probably did not relay all the info, I do believe Cindy did because we know she likes to talk and she was not withholding anything at that point. her only concern that day was Caylee and she was upset.

I think a jury of Casey's peers should be chosen from the club Fusian's Friday night contest of Best Body or in this case...12 Best Lone Brain Cells Left.

The poster said the car was towed LESS than 24 hours later. It was a missing person case, not a suspected homicide. And most likely the search warrant wasn't signed until the next day. Does anyone know what time the car was picked up?

In the Michigan case the judge did not allow the dog hits and it did not go in front of the jury. The jury did NOT get to decide because the judge did not allow it period.

She got over it quick enough to wash the pants that smelled.
