You know I think I am getting more upset at the friends especially ones before May 24th. Ones who knew Casey as a mom to Caylee. Where is the help from them the searches near the apartments, near the amscot, near everywhere in the police reports. The family is doing what they need to do, fine I get that. Where is Caylee's voice? I heard it the first jailhouse phonecall from Christine? Where is it now?

I've wondered if maybe these folks have cooperated with LE in a big way and have either been asked not to put themselves in a position to be grilled by media or just don't want the god-awful attention everyone who's ever known this family seems to be getting. Could be why we haven't seen them out in public trying to help.

Or -- and I hate to even say it -- they know there's no use in it.

No. She wasn't "in custody" she was free to leave.

In the Michigan case the judge did not allow the dog hits and it did not go in front of the jury. The jury did NOT get to decide because the judge did not allow it period.

Would have to see more of that case, but working dog evidence is allowed in all jurisdictions I know of in US.

As much as they spin and talk, Cindy, George and Lee may be the only 3 people on the planet that loved Caylee before July 15th, 2008. The lack by effort on anyone who knows this child in the Orlando area is pathetic. Perfect strangers who met on a message board have now searched, a psychic from Ohio has searched, a bail bondsman and his bounty hunter uncle from California are flying in just to see if a change in tactics can break the BS, and still the people who would have known Casey's routine day in and day out, outside of Cindy's house remain quiet. I don't mean a press tour, I mean being the voice of Caylee. Even Clint while great for feeding the media machine isn't looking for Caylee. NO ONE IS OUTRAGED.

My understanding is that we really can't discuss anything about JG that's not been reported by the news media. As a friend of Casey's, his name has been mentioned by the media, and he did do one brief media interview early in the case. I believe quoting a statement made in a media report is okay, but speculation beyond that isn't. I think a mod will clarify this.

The poster said the car was towed LESS than 24 hours later. It was a missing person case, not a suspected homicide. And most likely the search warrant wasn't signed until the next day. Does anyone know what time the car was picked up?

I can agree with that, but then we must excuse Cindy for washing the pants. because she, like LE, was thinking we had a kidnapping not a murder and certainly not a murder at the hands of her daughter. So if a third party kidnapped her daughter why would she worry about washing things out of the car?

IMO, LE just missed the boat with the car because they were focused on a kidnapping. But since we can excuse them we must excuse Cindy too.

They are disqualified from being jurors because they're asleep during the day! :sleep:

Wasn't allowed in this case and I don't remember the exact case but it was brought up during the McCann fiasco and the McCann attorneys brought that case up and that is why I remember it. The dog hits were not allowed in the trial because they hit under the house but no body was ever found. The judge said without a body no one could prove a body was ever under the house. It was a precedent case in the US and was to be used by the McCann attorneys .

That's right, I will also give you and Rose Red this much. In the arrest affidavit it does say the initial responding officer found a note in the car before the detective arrived. No date is given but I assume that was early on the 16th? I wonder what the convo was then about the smell of the car?

I too was watching the weather radar as I have friends in Florida. I've wondered if this might affect the arrival of the Padillas in Orlando?
