Wasn't the note actually Amy's resume and Cindy used that to call Amy to get to Casey. Right? Or was there yet another mysterious note?

There was a note with ZG's mother's address on it that le got out of the car - it was the address Casey had originally had Yuri go to with her when they were driving around town looking for ZG.

The resume is what Cindy found and got Amy's number from it.

I'm addicted to this website and a lurker and now have finally been added. I hope yawl are safe during the hurricane and no evidence is lost.

My stance: Casey killed her. Accident or not, Caylee is dead. So, my question as the resident newbee is that do you think her parents are a ruse to get her to talk? Do you think they know more and know how she manipulates are trying to "out-manipulate" her? Do you think she would tell the truth if bailed out? I doubt it but I see in some cases maybe. She seems to be very narcissistic....
Welcome to WS, Gibby! At this point, I don't know what the parents are trying to do. Their attempt at "helping" Casey has failed, their attempt to find Caylee has been almost non-existent, and they have practically incriminated themselves here single-handedly. I don't think they are in any position to try to "out-manipulate" their daughter.

I agree about her narcissism and I don't expect to ever hear the truth from Casey Anthony no matter where she is.

Wouldn't that be the 15th? Either way imo it could be one of 2 things.
1. it really wasn't that bad. It was blown out of proportion and LE picked up on it later and investigated it. I do know an officer testified to smelling it at the bond hearing, but I do not know exactly when he smelled it and I cannot find the dang link to that hearing!
OR
2. LE blew it. They were not investigating a murder involving the car and it wasn't until Casey took them on that wild good chase did the light start to go on. They said ruh-roh...we need to regroup. I think they then went over the information which would include the stinky car and THEN they smelled it and acted on it.

As i have said before there is something stinky about the stink.
But part of my issue with this is that Cindy has taken a LOT of heat for washing those pants. many posters here have said over and over that LE was not looking at a homicide but a kidnapping so the important evidence was discounted at that time. The same must hold true for Cindy. Moreover she volunteered the info about the pants and imo she did it on more than one occasion.

I agree Cindy the pants and LE all were not looking that way until 18 hours later or longer.

IIRC the prosecution lost.

The People of the State of Michigan lost. It is not a contest between a prosecutor and the defense counsel. They don't control the generation of the facts or the law, they just use their skills to present them.

I thought the address was that of Ricardo's apartment? Ugh...I must be tired and confused.

Well the dogs are NOT 100% accurate. Where are the DNA results from the car ? What evidence is there at this time? None, zilch, o%. Until :LE give positive forensic results there is no proof that a crime was committed. Dogs are not proof they are only a tool just like a polygraph test is only a tool and not positive proof.

Cadaver dogs are very accurate. A good friend is a trainer of cadaver dogs, and has been sent to the site of the Oklahoma City bombing with her dog to search for deceased victims, and also spent many many weeks at the site of the World Trade Center after Sept. 11, 2001. Those cadaver dogs were accurate in their detection of human remains over 90% of the time!

Locally, we had a 19-year-old girl kidnapped from her car. She had exited a freeway and her car was found at the bottom of the off-ramp, still running, with the driver's door open and one shoe on the pavement. Search parties searched for her for more than 5 weeks, and when our friend with the cadaver dog joined the search, the girl's remains were found within two hours.

That particular dog died this past year and was accorded a memorial service by the men and women in uniform who know how valuable these dogs are to their profession.

SS that's always puzzled me..all the different stories on how Cindy found Amy's number and how police per warrant found Amy's addy in Casey's car. It's all clear as mud and few stories on how Cindy got the number. Per affidavit they say they found Amy's addy in Casey's car....

I'm serious! I'd use a peremptory challenge on somebody who partied all night constantly and slept during the day.
Gosh, I will remember that the next time I am called for Jury duty! I will have to show up with a hangover and my "party girl" attire. (Where were you before I had to serve?!)

Thanks for welcoming me seriously!

I guess that I don't mean that her parents are "helping" her. I was wondering if they too, especially with the father's cop experience, trying to get her to talk but putting on a ruse that "caylee was kidnapped" and "we are watching them." These actions just in case she sees this on her 1 hour of TV viewing and "believes" that her parents are on her side. Lee, however, is too close and doesn't believe and, therefore, not playing along. I think Lee can get to her. I think the parents are trying to play along to get some information. And, based on all of Cindy's lies, not so sure she's in on it either. But, then again, denial is a VERY powerful thing.

Secondly, about the clothes found....aren't they the EXACT SIZES of Casey and Caylee? I think that is more than a coincidence. Granted, 5T is pretty big for a 2-year-old turning 3....

No it is not one of those cases as there were no bones found.

I just get tired of the dogs are always right when they are not proof if other evidence is not found. Just because they hit on an area it does not prove that a body has been there. We keep seeing but how do you explain the dogs hitting? Well I am trying to explain that the dogs are not proof alone but there must be other evidence also. I a, amazed so many people think that just because a dog hits it is absolute proof but it is not.

Excellent point. Dog evidence needs to be considered in the mix of evidence.

I think in bold is probably the closest. It would help to know exactly when the responding officer found the note. There is no date or time. So neither one of us can say when LE knew the car was important. We are back to square one.

We'll have to agree to disagree on the pants. :p

About the car and the "stink". Didn't George admit that he knew what it was and that it was so bad he had to drive home with the windows down and his head out the window?

Dog "hits" can also be used as a tool by LE to evoke confessions. LE is not limited to what they can do (lie, fake evidence, etc.) to obtain a confession.

You are correct. It was Amy and Ricardo's apartment address that was across from the Senior only apartment buildin.

It was and directly across the street from where Casey took the detective and said it was ZG's mom's apt.
