I've never heard this before. Does anyone have a transcript of him saying this???

Most definitely they'd need DNA evidence to support the dog hits. If they don't have the DNA, the jury would naturally question what it was the dogs hit on.

The dog hits on the trunk are supported by human statements from George and Cindy. Further, there is some corroboration in the fact that Caylee is still unaccounted for.

Thanks McSev! That makes sense. Makes the 2 dogs hitting on the scent even more credible.

And to Diane, I really believe the parents (at least Cindy) think Caylee is dead and are trying, albeit poorly, to get info from Casey. I think the whole "we are searching" and "we are watching" are all BS. I think in the back of George's mind he knows Caylee is gone but can't believe it. I think they have been manipulated by Casey's narcissism for years and can't quite bust her but Lee, however, can, as siblings often do...It is evident in their lack of search and relying on psychics and WS to search for their granddaughter. I don't think they want to fall upon her remains. I think they hope someone else does.

Also, as a newbie, I wonder this: If the LE knows more than he's letting on, why is he waiting so long to throw more charges on her? If DNA is back, could he? Do they need a body? (This is besides the theft they have....)

Ok - let's just say the DNA comes back to decomp in the trunk and it's Caylee's. If they charge her with murder - she can then pipe up and say it was an accident. With no body they cannot prove or disprove any story she spins. Then what happens? Do they knock the charge down to manslaughter or what?

These are specially trained dogs. They only hit on human decomposition smell of a dead body. They are not bomb dogs or drug dogs.

Cindy said it on-camera in a walk-and-talk interview she gave to one of the local TV stations as she walked to her car after the bond hearing.

If I remember correctly, this is the same interview in which she inadvertently called herself a 'nurse of decomposition', and mentioned that her husband had worked in homicide.

Doesn't prove murder. Think like a juror.

If you accept that the dogs "hit" then it is like a verbal statement that there was a dead human body here. They don't tell you whose body.

I believe she said ZG lived there with her Mother Gloria. A poster on this board found a Gloria G living on that same street about a mile away but LE was not interested in that information.

Casey showed LE three locations. The Senior apartment building across from Amy and Ricardo, the Sawgrass Apts. and the townhomes. The townhomes is where Casey said Gloria lived by herself.

IIRC, the poster theorized that LE wasn't interested because they never called her back or asked for her information. And that could be because they had already checked it out. We don't know.

I am thinking like a juror - who gets a whole prosecution picture which includes the dogs. It's a story that adds up...

LOOPHOLE COULD ALLOW CASEY TO BEAT SYSTEM

A loophole could allow Caylee Anthony's mother to beat the system. She's still only facing charges of child neglect and giving false statements.

If her attorney asks for a speedy trial, they could be the only charges she ever faces. Florida law prohibits a person from being tried on more serious charges at a later date if the person stands trial for something that's related.

"If you lose a kid and that results in a child's death, that's one and the same case, because those are manslaughter charges," said board-certified trial attorney Richard Hornsby.

If Casey was found guilty of child neglect, she would only serve up to five years in prison versus a maximum of life for murder. Still, detectives have never said that Caylee Anthony is dead or that Casey is under investigation for murder or manslaughter

Is this true?

back on the finding the phone number (Cindy), finding the address 232 Glenwood (police)...sorry this drives me batty.

1) I heard Cindy say on LKL (think it was) she found a phone number of Amy in Casey's purse. Is this the purse she also said Casey had left in the car?

2) Police per affidavitnsay they found Amy's and Ricardos addy in Casey's car. (why would Casey need to write the addy, was it a new residence for Ricardo her ex?)

3) Later we hear the information was found on Amy's resume that was in Casey's car. (why would Casey have Amy's resume in her car...and could Zanny have been a reference on that resume?)

a resume would have some pretty personal info on it, no? Could Casey have been trying to scam Amy's identity? Or did Casey tell Amy 'no problem, give me your resume and I'll hook ya up with a job via my connections? The resume story bothers me! The whole 3 different versions of the who found what, where, and when bugs me too!
