Makes me curious as to who called JG so he could slip in under the wire before LE contacted him. I know he said he saw it on news reports or whatever...but still...maybe he did or maybe he didn't.

Casey Anthony is talking freely with her parents and helping with new leads into whereabouts of missing 3-year-old Caylee Marie, the family's spokesman said today.

"She is being cooperative and is sincerely worried about the well-being of her child. There is no doubt that this child has been kidnapped," said Los Angeles-based spokesman Larry Garrison. He said she is providing more details she couldn't give in jail."

How much stock do you put in the words of a "spokesman" who is 3000 miles away and can only pass on information given to him over the phone or via email by - oh yeah, Cindy, that bastion of truth and accuracy.

I wonder if his nose is a little out of joint since he isn't the go-to guy he expected to be, now that the more colorful Leonard is not only on the scene, but on every national TV show covering this case.

Rick did say that that picture was from father's day. There dad is sick and hence you see the breathing tube. Rick had a lot of information and one person over on topix spoke to him on the phone and verified that he is real.

IIRC, he said it was from a visit in March, not FD, thus the confusion.

Why doesn't Gramps have the oxygen on in the Caylee video ???
Why is Gramps wearing 2 differant shirts on the same day ??

You can see the mark on his face from the oxygen tube from yellow shirt day. Young children can be scared when they see medical equipment on the elderly. The other picture very well may have been taken on a different day or perhaps grandpa changed to go for a dinner out or walk rather a wheelchair stroll.

Katie 526, were you over there when all of that was going on? I read everything close to the time he was posting. I was able to filter out the goons giving him a hard time, from the words he wrote. I found him credible.

Yes I was and some of his posts were posted here. He was very upset and there are some tough critics on that board and non-believers so I trusted the person that spoke to him when she said he was legit. He had information that some bozo couldn't have. There was, however, a guy on there who wasn't real trying to be him. Here is one of his posts

I am one of Cindy's older brothers. She has three all total. I have two older brothers. Cindy was the baby of the family and the only girl. She married George when he was a cop in Warren, Ohio. She talked George into going into his dad's car business. George didn't get along with his dad very well then. They scuffeled and George put his dad through a window at the dealership. George was asked to leave. No charges were filed. George started his own car lot and 2nd mortgaged his and Cindy's home. The business failed and they lost their home. They moved to Florida where Cindy got a job at a doctors clinic. She was the lead nurse at a really good orthepedic doctor office before she met George. She quit when she had Lee. That is some basics that will get everyone up to speed.

I think that it'll be tough for Baez to get Casey off scott free, but barring powerful forensic evidence or a major investigative breakthrough, I think that Baez has a reasonable chance of minimizing Casey's sentence.

Without the above, Casey can always fall back on the "it was an entire accident that I had nothing to do with and then I lied because I panicked and was stressed out over the accidental and tragic death of my Caylee" theory. If LE accepts this plea, they very well can't charge Casey for Caylee's death, having agreed that her death was accidental, because accidents do happen, even unfortunate and tragic accidents.

LE needs evidence of the cause of death as well as the death itself in order to really put Casey to the screws.

They can still try Casey for her alleged responsibility in the death of Caylee, but without proof of the cause of death, their case is that much weaker. Reasonable doubt over the cause of death will go a long way in determining the possible length of Casey's jail sentence.

I think if they have the forensics to prove death occured they don't need cause of death and the "it was an accident" ship has sailed. The other cases that didn't have a body didn't have cause of death, they had reasonable proof of death and the accused behavior/motive/lies. I would not worry too much about cause of death personally. Casey is not going to lead them to a body so there is no plea. IF they can go forward with a murder charge I would expect a death penalty case. This has aggravating factors out the yingyang... and a picture is worth a thousand words. How does the jury sit with a picture of partygirl feeling up some chick in a bar and reconcile it with anything other than coldblooded killer?

thank you....I was hoping to watch that actual interview on the boat, but i guess it's not what i thought it was....

Very intersting, that happened to a child here in MD not too long ago. He went swimming and came home complaining of a bellyache. He went to sleep and when his parents tried to wake him up, he was deceased. It was determined that he drowned because he had injested water in his lungs, even though it was a relatively small amount.

It's called a dry drowning..I'm in MD too.

I bet that's the reason Casey told Lee that she needed to write JB the phantom letter that never happend. I can just see it now............................."Lee, I can't tell Jose anything because the police are listening to us here too, but I'm going to write him a letter and tell him everything he needs to know to find Caylee".

I think Lee is sick of Casey's crap!.....at least I hope he is 'cause someone in that family needs to get a clue!

True. You can see the mark from the oxygen on his face. If people are not accustomed to seeing people in a nursing center, frequent clothing changes are the norm.

They could have taken the oxygen off long enough for Caylee to sit on his lap for the photo as not to scare her and get a better photo, too. Many children her age are frightened of "strangers" and she probably would have had the same look on her face had it been Santa.
