Ok, nother question about the weird Geraldo last night
If getting a ping record is as easy as LP says it is "You just pay for it and they give it to you." dontcha think LE would already have that?
And I don't think they just hand that over to every schmuck in a cowboy hat, I'm pretty sure that you have to have a warrant for that.
Does anyone know for sure about ping records?

I think he did exactly what he is getting paid to do. (No. I don't buy that he is doing this out of the goodness of wittle heart) He is casting doubt in the public opinion. Now as to who is paying him and why...I don't have a clue. I don't believe he is being paid on behalf of CA, but perhaps on behalf of someone else who was involved (I don't think she acted alone). I think the goal is to confuse, confuse, confuse... Without solid, concrete, undoubtable evidence then CA won't get a conviction and therefor the money bags putting up the dough won't either.

Just my thought....

On a more serious note - did she leave for "church" yet?

This is why I've been on this site all morning! I have to know!

Captain Nieves of the Orange County Sheriff's Department

GR: Captain Nieves, first of all, I have to ask you the big money question. Do you believe that this child is alive or dead?

CN: We believe she's alive. We're still working under the premise like we did the first day when we started this investigation. To look at all of the information that we are receiving, try and find the whereabouts of Caylee and establish her well-being. Of course, during that process, receiving the information that we have, from the initial reporter which was Casey, we have to follow the evidence where it leads us.

GR: Do you have any evidence that Caylee is alive? Other than what Casey told you?

CN: Well, at this point, we don't have any information provided to us that leads us to believe otherwise. We believe that she's still out there. That she can be found. If anyone provides us any information. But again, the information we're receiving, the evidence, the follow up that our detectives are conducting with the assistance of the FBI lab as long with the Federal Department of Law Enforcement and their crime analysis folks, receiving all of those tips of information, we have not been able to establish her well being.

GR: I really want to get this point nailed down. You not only believe that it's a possibility that she's alive, you're telling me that there is no evidence to the contrary?

CN: We're letting the evidence lead us to a conclusion. What we will continue to do is follow up on all of the information. Again, the sheriff's office will exhaust all means to try and make a determination as to where the child is, where she has been and again the key to that information is working with Casey. She is currently out on bond and we stand ready to receive any information that will help us on that end.

GR: Have you been frustrated by your relationship with the defendent in the child neglect case, Casey Anthony?

CN: It's definitely frustrating for our investigators. They put a lot of time, a lot of effort and will continue to do so. Again, we have the assistant of the the FBI Fed Dep of LE and again, we are standing ready as we were on day one to marshall anything that is necessary; any units, any personnel once we receive the information that will put us on the right track from Mr. Baez or Casey Anthony.

GR: As you sit there tonight, is there any plan to bring additional charges against Casey Anthony?

CN: Again, at this point, our detectives are continuing to look at everything. They're going to look at the entire picture. All of the information that has been provided to us and depending on where the evidence leads us, that will determined at a future date.

When it was reported that Casey's phone had been turned off due to overdue bill, MF said that at this point, even the family didn't have access to her records. He said that LE would have to use a warrant to get the records. I can't imagine that the BH could just call up, pay a few dollars, and get any records like you said.

I just peeked at our local news online.... I guess Casey decided not to attend
church this morning.

I dont know.... if I were her I would be ON MY KNEES begging for forgiveness. I cannot imagine why in the world she would not want to go to church this morning. If anyone needs to be forgiven, its Casey.

Maybe Casey has found out that she doesn't love the limelight and publicity as much as she thought she did.

My guess is:

a) she stayed up late on the computer and didn't wake up in time;
b) she didn't have anyone to go with (besides BH & BG)
c) she was afraid of being attacked or being struck down by something...

I'm guessing all of the above. :waitasec:

This is no surprise to me at all! I was wondering how she was going to manage sitting in church with a white towel covering her face.

Let's see if the Baptish church decides to come to the "vigil" tonight since it has been the Baptist Church(es) that have supported the Anthony's.

I was thinking the same thing. I guess its possible that the BH paid the past due bill for Casey and then were able to access the records. I'm not sure how that all works though. Just a thought! :)

I think shes smart to stay in the safety of the house ---- I was almost positive something was going to happen when she walked out the doors of the jail......

LOTS and LOTS of people not to happy with her - and it only takes one crazy (well two if you count her)

Tom, the owner/founder of myspace, is every myspace user's first friend! You have to delete him to get rid of him.

I wonder if the 5 people that LP named on Geraldo last night have hired their own lawyers yet? I'm sure there are plenty of lawyers in Orlando that would love to jump into the limelight of this case, pro-bono at that...

Thanks, Mohabi. (And I agree completely about the animal abusers - report them all!)

The reasons Casey didn't go to church seem obvious, although I am surprised that JB did not convince her to do this. But his defense plan is already transparent enough without the stained glass, which would just make things way too...surreal?
