Because there IS no scenario....

she ditches the car & she needs someone to come drive her away.

She's a pathological liar, remember.

All she says is the car won't start, my dad will pick it up.

Do you think Tony will CARE about the car 5 minutes later? It's not HIS responsibility. Same thing with Caylee.... friends ask... get a logical answer & move on to other more fun topics. It's not THEIR responsibility to worry about Casey's car OR her daughter.

If the theory is that she ditched the car to then come back and say Caylee was taken by a carjacker....Thats what I'm trying to discount...:bang:

If LE has to subpoena for the phone records, not sure what BH Padilla is going to get since he is just a regular person.

Don't you suppose there is something in the bond contract giving him permission from casey or cindy?

  • #304
Then why call Tony to come pick her up and tell him her dad would take care of the car?
It doesn't seem she ever called her dad to pick up the car though and seems she lied to TonE.

JB has said several times that the truth will come out in his opening statement. I don't think this is anywhere near correct. If CA is charged with neglect, JB will be speaking to "mother of the year" stuff. He will not be commenting on the various theories of what happened to Casey. He will attempt to keep his OS narrow and to the point. He won't be putting forth any statement about what Cindy did or didn't do. Open to correction here, folks.

No.

IF it was "a friend" she wouldn't have:

hung out with all her friends partying.... she would have called her parents at the very least.

IF it was "a friend" why make up the whole crazy story about some make believe nanny?

IF it was "a friend" why wait TWO MONTHS before even mentioning that?

Just the latest lie so LE doesn't uncover Caylee's body while it still might hold some incriminating evidence, imo.

Oops...I think I've been misunderstood. When I said "may have some involvement", I didn't mean to suggest I thought one of them might have taken her/injured her etc without Casey's knowledge....I certainly agree that if that had happened, it would be too weird for her to be out clubbing etc.

I meant possibly involved re covering up for her, helping her after, or knowing at some earlier time that Caylee was missing etc.

Exactly...But if she used the carjacking story the cops would have most certainly questioned Tony just because he was in her circle of friends at that time..too risky....I think the theory of trying to set up a carjacking is not viable. Thats all I was trying to say.

I am so sick of all the lies this rotten, selfish girl is giving and the star status she is receiving! What is going on?
Why did the bounty hunter really come to Orlando and get involved? I don't buy the "out of the kindness" of his heart bull!
And why is Casey allowed this type of treatment? Why is she calling all of the shots? She seems to have reached celebrity status, all from the horrible event of harming her child! :furious:

She has jumped from adamently declaring that Zanaida the babysitter, had kidnapped Caylee. And now we're informed, her friends have Caylee? I'm sure this girl's friends could kick themselves for ever having befriended her!

This girl should either be in jail, or on a psychiatric unit, I'm not quite sure which, I go back and forth in trying to decide exactly which treatment is the one she needs! But she certainly does not need to be at her parents home, being coddled and pampered, having her favorite foods made for her, receiving special treatment from all that surround her!

The bounty hunter said he came to Orlando "to find the little girl". Gat busy Leonard!!! And he needs to talk to Casey & give her an ultimatum. Give her 24hours to tell him the truth of what really happened to Caylee, where she really is and if she doesn't tell him, well, take her right back to jail.

How long is this going to be allowed to go on and on and on? It's ridiculous! This lying girl knows all of the answers, but instead, is allowed to play this game and everyone around her is playing right along!
What gives?

Where is little Caylee, Casey???

Is it possible that LP calling out her friends now, saying they have the kid is his way of calling Casey's bluff. Maybe he is trying to accomplish one of two things.

A. Get Casey to freak out because he is dragging her precious TonE and friends into the picture, since she won't talk, therefore hoping she slips up and says something in her panic....or

B. Get Casey's friends to talk, about Casey, since all of them have been hidden in the shadows since this whole story broke. Although LE says they all gave statements and I'm thinking they were probably told to remain silent and not talk to the media, as they may be potential witnesses.

I just can't figure out any other logical reason why he would think that a bunch of 22 yr. olds would be brazen enough to kidnap, or want the responsibility of a child. What would be their motive? I have a 23 yr. old son and I just can't imagine. It just doesn't make sense.

I have tried to keep an open mind. The "kidnapping" and then all the craziness with the Sawgrass Apts kind of keeps the doubt going and the flame of hope that Caylee is alive but I do have to agree with you not any of the kids in those pics have or want Caylee, nor do any drug dealers. The kids could have passed her off to someone else but the drug dealers would have dropped her off when the reward for Caylee came out..."Look what we found at the Sppeedy Pack, give me my $225000.00. Tomorrow I may change my mind and believe a different theory, I seem to stay on the Anthony Merry Go Round, just goin in circles. IMHO

What would he need a subpoena for, wasn't he referencing Casey's pings or did I already glaze over at that point? She surely would just give her permission.

some info pertaining to bounty hunters rights

The powers of bounty hunters are immense. When arresting a skip, bounty hunters need not read them their Miranda rights. They do not need a warrant to search the residence of a skip, even a hotel room. Nor are they required to announce themselves before entering private property, as police officers must. Evidence obtained illegally by bounty hunters can be submitted in court. Like police officers, bounty hunters are authorized to use "all reasonable force" to apprehend skips. This means they can shoot to kill if shot at. Also, they can transport skips across state lines without enduring extradition proceedings. (Bounty hunter cliché: Extradition proceedings take place in the trunk of a car.) http://www.slate.com/id/1072/

definately, sorry, just posted that below, among other things, if LP is not a licensed investigator hired and "bonded" by Baez anything he finds is "subpoena-able", if he IS a licensed PI working for Baez, he had better disclose that to the public pretty quick because it would make his statements misrepresentative, at a minimum.

And he got that information from whom????? I think he and JB are trying to get people to focus on anyone but Casey. If her friends have Caylee, she should have no problem with telling the police that.

She may, and it's a big "may" be so caught up with the party/club circuit that she doesn't want to make any enemies and wants to go back to it when this is over...she may be protecting others. And, it's a big "may", IMO.
