Perhaps I'd be better able to understand your theory if you explained the part I bolded above. What was the threat to Casey? The money was already stolen. I'm not getting it.

But going to the police with this info isn't a "threat"?

By the way, I give credit to LE daily on this case and what a great job Yuri...er....they are doing! After seeing that large batch of reports, we do know they are working very diligently and we can see the pile they have to go through to glean an ounce of information that will do them any good. When you have a POI like Casey, the puzzles are falling all over the place and finding the right pieces are more than difficult. I don't envy them their job on this one.

No kidding. This has been driving me CRAZY all week -- so crazy that it got me to sign up and post a comment after a couple of weeks of lurking . It's bad enough she says it like 30 times a program, but she's not even using it properly.

Hair found in the trunk that appears to be that of Caylee is NOT bombshell evidence. Save it for when it truly applies and give us a break.

Threat of what? Calling the police is not a threat of calling the police, it's the action of calling the police. Does that make sense? A threat is something a person uses to make another person do something. What threat did Cindy issue to Casey?

IMO Cindy is still holding out hope that her granddaughter is alive
and the ONLY way to do that is IF she believes Casey's lies!
She does the damage control because IF she didn’t then she would
have to admit that Caylee is dead and she is not ready for that!

That is my understanding as well. The police arrive during call three before Cindy hangs up. They question everyone for hours, they (LE) leave briefly in the early AM hours, and then come back for Casey and they start the trip to Universal where she is arrested. It is during that brief window that they left that Casey then continues the charade, pages everyone she knows, changes her myspace. As to when the photos Jesse mentioned were deleted, she could have done that and some of her messages anytime during that month.

See this is one of the things that gives me that gut feeling that something isn't right.

From the beginning it has seemed like they were buying the Anthony propoganda. And this was to make Cindy seem like she is doing more than she really is. Is it that they really believed that someone kidnapped Caylee or is it that they couldn't believe that someone as young, cute, and petite as Casey couldn't do what everyone was saying that she did?

If it was Caylee why has it seemed to be all about Casey since the beginning?

Why did they always seem like they were trying to prove she was innocent more than they were trying to get to the bottom of what happened to Caylee?

Thank you - excellent explanation. Ok, one thing I don't get though, is how that ties back to Cindy being the last person who was independently verified as seeing Caylee alive on the 15th? The scenario above4 makes sense to me. Not sure I am still tracking then on the 15th potential scenario.

I have to admit that all along, one of the things that has disturbed me the most was the deletion of hundreds of photos of Caylee. I've always hoped they were still stored on the laptop hard drive, but once posted, many people do delete the originals from their hard drives. One more level of appalling disrespect I can't comprehend.

The 15th holds the key in all of this. I believe whatever happened to Caylee actually took place that day which would place George and Cindy at the scene. By using first the 9th then the 16th (after caught in their lies) as the last time they see her, they essentially absolve themselves of any responsibility.

Casey probably is certifiable (not legally insane for a defense, imo). The whole concocted story of a kidnapping may not only have come only from Casey, but others may have felt it could work because of Casey's instability. I don't think they ever thought that anyone would see through it and Caylee becomes just another vanishing child.

Cindy herself said there is no evidence in the first hearing. How would she know?

I wonder when, exactly, that Casey thought up the Zanny alibi. Had she planned it for the entire month since Caylee "disappeared" or did it occur to her that very night when Cindy reported Caylee missing?

I can only imagine the goings on in that car. I think Cindy's back was up against the wall. Calling the police is one thing, following through on "filing" charges is another. I think Cindy had the practice of calling the police when she was very, very angry to somehow control a situation. But, that's JMO. So yes, I think she used it as a "threat" to get what she wanted.

So George and Cindy do something to Caylee on the night of the 15th, Casey comes home and, instead of being outraged that her child is dead, calmly sits down and creates a story in which she covers for them and takes the heat. Is that what you're saying?

Just thought I would let you all in on something I find strange. The myspace that is listed as one of LP's friends that we all thought could possibly be Casey's has updated her mood status from Worried to Hopeful. Kinda strange with all the info that came out today/yesterday (depending on if you went to sleep yet.
