She had to have KNOWN it wasn't pizza she smelled when she removed it from the car. So she KNOWS that statemetn is untrue. She is simply lying to pull the wool over the world's eyes. According to my interpretation of the documents..... Cindy was NOT there when the tow guy and George pulled it out of the trunk. Now George ended up driving it home. Cindy later smelled the car and not aware at THAT POINT there was Pizza etc in the trunk rotting....made her 911 call.

Exactly in the beginning they were in a fact gathering mode and when they realized their date was wrong it was corrected.

Actually over 150,000 fliers have been distributed with the June 9th date. The current pdf's from kidfinders and TES also say June 9th. So if one prints the flier today that same bad info is on it.

So, if this is true and Cindy backed up Casey's story that Zaneida has been babysitting for 2 years and talked about it for 2 years -- and now we know Zaneida didn't exist -- doesn't this sound like Cindy is actively engaged in a cover-up? Even tried to give the story more credibility by offering to take a polygraph? Bootstrappping a lie hoping it will be believed by LE? False info to LE? Thoughts?

Yes, she did.........but all media could do more.

I'm sure we all could live without some 30 sec. 'gossip' story in leiu of a regular re-cap of some missing child.

If I was a relative , I would demand this date corrected to the 15th, imagine how many tips could be clogging the lines from people who saw her in that one week span. If the tip lines are clogged up, they should want to narrow it down as accurately as possible..even to the 16th if George actually saw her on that date.

Maybe they should start a "safe surrender" law for dead bodies. I haven't worked out in my head how it would work but sort of like the newborn baby thing. Like a tip line you can call in and tell where to pick it up no questions asked and no law enforcement leads will be provided. Maybe that would help loved ones reunite with their remains. Maybe they could also add a stipulation that people can't claim manslaughter or accidental death unless the body was turned in this way. Just an idea, don't throw rocks at me.

I believe some states have that - if you dump a baby at certain locations, you will not be prosecuted. So my daughter tells me.

So you have the inside knowledge? Then please justify why they have lied or told "mistruths" across the board? CA, GA, CMA, JB...

I have no inside knowledge that was misunderstood....I was stating that because it does not appear ANY of us have inside knowlegdge

The family that showed up banging on the Anthonys' door ticks me off. I understand their frustration, I know they are in pain, but there are so many other ways to go about this. That was very juvenile. Isn't that harrassment? Why did they bring their children along? There are just so many things wrong with that.

Polygraphs are not admissible in court,is we know.I think Cindy could pass one,he!! Casey could probably pass one,they believe what they say. And if you don't believe them,then they get angry. The whole bunch has lied from day one. JMO

I don't either and her ranting at the public and LE is irritating. The Anthonys engaged in this on their own accord and in a way they chose to engage -- by not remaining neutral and by taking assertive steps to back the lies their daughter spewed and perhaps a few of their own. They could easily have gently said, We love Casey. We don't know what happened. As long as LE tells us this is classified as a missing child case, we prefer to look for Caylee." Simple as that and the public would have adored them.

I certainly understand the need for accuracy, but would that mistake matter at this point anyway? Would anyone materially change their method of search, do anything differently, based on whether the last seen date was the 9th or the 15th?

In my opinion, Cindy is lying because:

(1) She stands to lose her daughter for murder charges
(2) her husband for helping to destroy evidence
(3) her own freedom as well

I think lying is a way of life for the Anthony clan

Wow...that lady looked very upset...she would probably get Casey talking within 15 minuites of being alone with her...I read she is missing a child, though details are unknown to me about that...

This case sure is bringing out some very upset & mad people...

Glad they were only ticketed and not arrested...

Cindy is in such a deep state of denial, she could pass a poly easily! They'd have to recalibrate the machine for her.
