If Casey, as Caylee's mother/legal guardian, didn't report Caylee as missing because Caylee isn't missing, and she has known all along where Caylee is but doesn't want to tell anyone, has a crime been committed?

What if Casey sent Caylee for an extended visit somewhere?

She's absolutely within her right to send Caylee off on vacation.

You think she'd be sitting in jail if she could hand a phone to LE and say "Here, talk to my daughter"?

Sorry folks, but the sad sad reality in our society is that a black child that goes missing gets a fraction of the media coverage and attention than a white child.

AND many, many white children do not get the publicity Caylee is getting either. The point is, this woman has no right to bang on the door and accuse people of things when she has no way of knowing all the facts of the case. Does she realize there are laws and courts in this country and they don't need her?

I do not think the lady is a "joke".

I might not agree with what she did, but I do think she is very emotional over the whole thing..

That "lady" is a joke. She had no right to bang on the door and accuse them of knowing anything. If she had been arrested she would have used the race card like she did before.

That was an inflammatory statement. I also like how people are saying that the Anthony's are being harrassed when most people just want to find Caylee. Which seems to be more then what they want. The Anthony's want us to go look for the grand daughter however it (according to them) is ok that Casey doesn't tell the truth because it would put Caylee's life in danger. Wouldn't the public be putting her life in danger by looking for her. Why is it that the one person who can provide the information they need is given a free pass to them and not held accountable.

I wasnt sure if endosed meant the same as revoked, thank you. I think DOA means date of arrest in this situation.

I am having the same thing happen!

Quick background for my question.....
I have out of town family here for the weekend. Today is the mega BBQ.
All but one that were here last night having munchies didn't have a clue when I brought up the names Caylee or Casey.

Out of eleven people, most being newshounds interrested in the DOW etc. only one knew what I was talking about.
I almost asked them if they had been living under a rock! But that would have made me baaaad host.

A QUESTION!
(I will have very limited time to pop in to WS today. I will keep the page open on my computer screen but as far as reading for hours and hours, that's not going to be happening.)

Anyone have any idea at all why Casey sat in the car while her Mom drove to the police station?
Why did Casey even go with her Mom when the mom showed up at TonE's place?

For someone who was trying so hard to hide whatever it was she was doing she sure didn't try to 'get away' very hard from the people who were in her face questioning her ie; her Mom, Dad, Lee.

What would her kind of reaction mean in medical/psych terms?

She could have refused to go with her Mom when her Mom found her at TonE's. She could have waited until her mom was at a stop signal and gotten out of the car while on their way to the police station.....so many times Casey could have removed herself from the situation but didn't. She stayed put.

Me and Mr. Amity were talking about this early today before company started arriving and every time we get alone we continue the discussion.
Told him I'd ask this question for him on WS but I wouldn't be able to get the answer quick with all the guests coming and going around the house. So I'll pop back in on a regular basis and hope someone has been able to explain these question for my husband.

My impression of Casey is that she's a talker not a planner. She just kind of makes it up as she goes along and says it. That's always worked before. Little bit different situation this time. She'd lied to TonE about what was going on with her parents. He had the impression that the calls she got from her mom, or the problems she talked to him about when 'came back from seeing them' were about difficulties at home probably with her mom and dad. He didn't know that Cindy had been asking to talk to Caylee for a month and Casey had been spins tales about why she couldn't. She'd told him Caylee was with her parents a lot of the times when she'd been with him without Caylee. She had to get Cindy away from TonE as fast as possible so they wouldn't talk to each other very long, so she could start talking and do her best to spin both sides against the middle and keep Cindy and TonE from comparing notes. Once she was with her mom, she was flyin' by the seat of her pants. If she left, where was she going to go? She probably didn't have any money. If she went to TonE's, it wouldn't be a secret where she was any more and Cindy could show up at any time which could result in a convo with TonE. She was playin' by ear. Now was the time to talk to mom. She hadn't planned anything to explain any of this to anyone. She'd been putting it off, but now she was stuck. She'd talk to mom first...but she didn't really say much that made sense. Then mom called the cops and her mind really starts spinning. But she's always talked her way out before, so she'll give it a shot.

Exactly, TOO emotional about people she does not know and is basing her "emotions" on "reports" and making others miserable with her antics and that is why IMO she is a joke. One more nut case coming out of the woodwork to get her 15 mintues.

I asked a question last night about the notification process involved in revoking bond.

It was explained (by pizmex? themis?) that the bond agent files a notification to the court that the bail is being withdrawn. In this situation, it wouldn't be necessary for the bonding agent to surrender the defendant, since she had been re-arrested.

Maybe that's what occurred on 8/30?

Yes I also believe she should not have done this today. it is true that caylee is getting WAY more coverage than other white kids, however I was addressing the race card issue.
