Well, if you go by CA's photobucket pictures, she was in a sort of cooler-friendly crowd. The concept wasn't totally foreign to her. Coolers aren't impervious, so you could still have some evidence in the trunk. Not sure what to make of the cadaver dogs hitting on a spot in the back yard. Maybe those were spots where something from the trunk had been temporarily placed at some time. Hate to even say it, but maybe gas cans.

You wouldn't have the forensic evidence they found in the trunk if she were carried in a cooler, imo.
I think it probably was a lightweight blanket or maybe a canvas bag.

"they can find her guilty of murder without a body"

You can definitely convict someone of murder w/out a body but that is where the blood and DNA evidence becomes very important. The smell of death in the car indicates general foul play but Caylee's bodily fluids identified through her DNA--sorry this is so graphic--in the back of the trunk is the real evidence they need. That will prove Caylee is dead and not just missing. And even though it would be better to have her body it is enough for a conviction.

I really don't feel that Caylee was buried or hidden in the backyard.....WAY to risky, pet dogs etc.

The cadaver dogs hit in the backyard because I think Casey was panicking and moving her around trying to figure out what to do ...but ultimatley she moved her from the house and hid her somewhere and then went back and got her to hide her better, hence the shovel, dirt specimens, and smell in the trunk. thats jmo, but all the rest of it I agree with.

Yes I agree. We all saw the yard. It is small and very clustered with things it is simply impossible for anyone to try to dig there and actually bury something without being noticed. And that would entail hours of labour and that is simply not impossible with the time frame she had that day. It is not as if there were acres of land in their yard. Even behind their yard, in the field outside their house, it would be impossible to do it without being noticed by neighbours. I think what the LE are mostly looking in the yard is if whatever happened happened there or in the house. I don't think they were ever really looking for Caylee there.

Not to be graphic but a sweet little baby...it is so easy to the evil to put in a bag, put weights in it, and throw in some river. No mess no digging no anything. I will be looking for objects missing from the Anthony's house or her friends' house that could be used as weights.

And here is another explanation about the shovel. She might needed a shovel to CLEAR the area that she might have placed the child at some point. To remove some soil and throw it away to make sure it was difficult to find physical evidence of something. A shovel also could be used for digging dirt and putting it in a bag to add weight. Why she backed up the car in the garage? To add something in the bag without taking the bag or box or whatever outside the trunk.

But getting to murder if she drowned or was drowned in the pool without a body would be rough.

Shouldn't this be added to the timeframe? Did the neighbor ask, or did Casey say, why she needed to borrow a shovel?

To dig up bamboo shoots in her parent's back yard so her daughter wouldn't get injured. I'm pretty sure this was her 'story'.

Mark Fuhrman said that the neighbor reported he was working in his yard and saw Casey back her car into the driveway, which was unusual. The neighbor said that Casey came over and borrowed a shove. This all happened on June 18th.

Please post the transcript of Mark saying June 18th .....

George had a cooler? Unreal! When was that?

Way back when he was filmed leaving his house with a cooler. I didn't see that tape. I did see a few days later Cindy standing in her driveway in front of her garage and the cooler was sitting to the side by a garden hose.

Enough of Casey's lies.

The LE should tell her that Cindy confessed to killing Caylee and dumped her body.

Maybe Casey would confess. Maybe not.

Casey Anthony went to that house on the 18th of June. So the 18th of June, we have the shovel that is borrowed next door from Casey Anthony. And then we move backwards. Now, on that day, June 18, there's also another flurry of phone calls, short, reaching-out phone calls.

I have said early on that "Cindy was the last one to see Caylee alive". This goes way back before we found out anything else.

I know I switched when it came out that the Cindy and George came up with the 16th of June, but I think of Casey "free call" to her mother saying something like "what do you mean you don't know". I have to find the accurate quote from Casey.

I even questioned recently, how come no one saw Caylee the morning of the 16th. All of a sudden Caylee is going with her mother with backpacks. Didn't anyone see Caylee in the morning having breakfast, lunch etc. George claims he was watching TV at 12:50 PM, he didn't see Caylee in the kitchen at any time etc. etc.

This was a working family with people working different hours.

I think Cindy was probably up and gone before the rest of the family. Maybe she had something to eat before she left for work. Or maybe she got her breakfast from the hospital. Or maybe she doesn't do breakfast.

George didn't leave for work until the afternoon so he probably gets up later. But, it was still probably before Casey who didn't have a "real" job.

I don't know the layout of the house, but it is possible that George could watch television in the living room/great room without seeing Casey and Caylee get ready for "work".

Caylee's breakfast may have been grabbing a granola bar for her. Or less.

I had a stint providing daycare in my home after my youngest child was born. From my experience as a "babysitter", many mothers do NOT give their kids breakfast before dropping them off. I gave the kids breakfast. I ALWAYS asked the kids if they had eaten no matter what time they were dropped off.

Maybe she borrowed the shovel to dig some rocks out of a flowerbed to use for weighing down the bag.

I was thinking that too until I realized that the drain plug on mine has come loose and drained water all over my trunk. I'm either going to have to get a new one or duck taping the stupid thing.

I've just been trying to catch up on the posts....it seems as though nothing real happens on the weekends with this case. Does everyone in LE just go home and relax as though there's not a little girl missing? I know there is so much going on behind the scenes we're not aware of but at least during the week we get bits of new info!

It's the media that takes weekends off.

I think that the June 18 would be a pausible time to add to the timeline. Maybe with ?

It was reported early on:
"Investigators began digging up the toddle’s grandparent’s backyard after investigators learned Anthony borrowed a shovel from neighbors in June, around the time her daughter disappeared."

Under the playhouse that now has concrete pavers under it. We aren't even sure how much dirt or if a hole would have still existed.

Even though Caylee was already kidnapped and wasn't around to step on bamboo.

I thought that also. There are so many illegal mexicans in the south, but then others on this forum said that ZG's name was from P.Rico and it is US territory - no illegal immigrants.

Its a latin american name...not specifically Puerto Rican. not every Luis, Zenaida, Jose, etc are Puerto Rican etc. Those names can be : Dominican , Mexican, Puerto Rican or whatever. It has to do with a common language which is Spanish not Citizenship or territory.
