There was a quick report on Fox that LE was back at the complex inquiring about anyone seeing and knowing Casey yesterday. Nothing else was said about it... so I can't give a reference.

I keep thinking that there's going to be a simple explanation for the Sawgrass Apts., and the name, Zenaida Gonzolas.

I'd sure like to know if that apt complex has security cameras, although even if they do, I think anything on those cameras is long gone due to the length of time that's passed.

what? cindy ?

Yes, tell Casey that CINDY confessed and see if Casey would confess to protect her mother. Mind game.

Even though Caylee was already kidnapped and wasn't around to step on bamboo.

Cindy has been mistaken a few times, sometimes half-truths, sometimes mistruths. But lying doesn't make you a murder and lying isn't against the law. As per Cindy Anthony.

To dig up bamboo shoots in her parent's back yard so her daughter wouldn't get injured. I'm pretty sure this was her 'story'.

That's what Cindy says Casey said, so who knows?

Patty G I googled onthe record mark furman and saw the article but can not transfer, I am not good at that

I honestly do not think she would care if her mother took the fall.

But getting to murder if she drowned or was drowned in the pool without a body would be rough.

If she accidentally drowned in the pool Casey missed her chance to say that--in a credible way--a long time ago. She can easily be convicted of murder even if that becomes Casey's defense b/c who would believe her at that point?

If they recover the body, however, in a condition where drowning can be determined as the cause of death she'd have a greater chance w/ that as her defense--that it was an accident and she freaked. But she also could have easily drowned her on purpose so it would be up to the jury to decide. I believe the DA would still charge her w/ murder and get a conviction even if drowning is the determined cause of death--and that's two big ifs in terms of recovering the body and that being the determinable cause of death.

Her friends have a lot of family and friends in PR. JP has family there, Amy just went n vacation there, etc. I would not be surprised if the ZG story was just a coincidence.

Try this one.

Casey Anthony went to that house on the 18th of June. So the 18th of June, we have the shovel that is borrowed next door from Casey Anthony. And then we move backwards. Now, on that day, June 18, there's also another flurry of phone calls, short, reaching-out phone calls.

I think it's more probable to assume that if Casey was led to believe that CINDY confessed, then Casey would confess even if she DIDN'T do it so that she would get more attention than Cindy likely would at that point.

Nahhh Cayse will probably lock the door on Cindy and throw away the key. Cayse doesn't seem the type that will break because someone else will be spending their life in jail for something Cayse is responsible for.

Mark is assuming it's the 18th.

From the transcript.
Now, there is new information also that tightens this timeline up. We've talked about the shovel, that right next door in that house right there, Casey Anthony went to that house and borrowed a shovel. It hasn't been disclosed what day. We feel it's important, and so does our source, that we tighten up this timeline so people that might have some information during this short two-day period, they might come forward because something that they passed off as information that was possibly not important now becomes important.

So this is what Mark is trying to do is make a theory that the day the shovel was borrowed as the 18th.

Greta last night was running on Mark's theory of the 18th that the shovel was borrowed.

The neighbor doesn't remember when the shovel was borrowed.

I just wished that on her daughter's birthday she would give us all a "present" and tell where her daughter is. Casey seems to be one selfish child.

I think that the June 18 would be a pausible time to add to the timeline. Maybe with ?

It was reported early on:
"Investigators began digging up the toddle’s grandparent’s backyard after investigators learned Anthony borrowed a shovel from neighbors in June, around the time her daughter disappeared."

Are you talking about my timeline?
http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67828

I haven't added it so far because we haven't gotten a confirmation from LE on the exact date. I can however say 6-??-08 based on the above quote. Would that be ok until we get a firm confirmation? That way it's at least in the timeline for now.

Have we ruled out that the first batch of calls could be due to her being locked out of the house? Maybe they do what I do and hide a key outside somewhere, but she could not find theirs. Perhaps she did have access to the back yard, though not the house. Borrowed the shovel. Finished whatever she wanted to do there, put the pool ladder up so she could wash hands in the pool, then left (ladder still up and gate unlatched)

  • #359
Okay, so if we don't think Casey buried Caylee in the backyard, then why did she borrow the shovel? Maybe she INTENDED to bury her there, and then thought better of it?

What about one of her suitcases? Cindy did say something about duffle bags or suitcases in the interview when she talked about washing the smokey smelling clothes from Tony's house.

I was also wondering about suitcases.... the big ones are easy to hid a child in, if you need to transport her body.

Wonder if the anthonys had old suitcases in their attic they forgot about... and don't even realize one is missing? We forget about older luggage... sometimes people use it to store items in rather than throw out. Gosh, I bet I have some in my attic I forgot about.
