And then they start talking and talking. I can't help but wonder if the poor baby spilled the beans about something her mother said or did and Casey took it out on her.

Excellent point!! I hadn't considered that angle!

I have been thinking for a while now how Casey was pulling off the not going to work, where she was spending her days and hours with Caylee, etc. I do believe her parents heard the name ''zanny'' or ''nanny'' before because Casey was milking them for suposeddly ''nanny'' money. But....i was wondering how come Caylee never said ''i was in the pool with mom today'', (and not with a nanny), ''i was at the beach with mom today'' (and not with a nanny).

And then I was DUHHHHHH.....Cayse could have pulled that off when Caylee was one or even two but not when she was three!!!!!!!!! So it was the end for this little excursions and lies and pocket money for the nanny do you think? Or like others who said Cayse was leaving her in the car or in the trunk perhaps? Caylee was old enough finally so that Cayse couldn't keep her secrets SECRET?

ORLANDO, Fla. -- For the second time in two days, Orange County sheriff's deputies and K-9 units performed a search for Caylee Anthony, the missing 3-year-old Orlando girl who was reported missing in mid-July but hasn't been seen since mid-June.

At the risk of sounding ignorant, can someone explain to me what the filing for a "Protective Order" was all about on 7/28/08??

I'm with you on everything but the speculation in C. I think she is just going to wait it out. She is hoping that they have nothing and there will be enough "doubt" in the jurors minds to acquit her.

I could add that as a D option tho too...because I agree with that as well

I know, but WHERE would Caylee be when she didn't have a sitter?? Was there a sitter besides (unknown)ZG or Cindy?

Didn't someone have to watch her while Casey was partying??

I think friends watched her at times like Christine. The friend she first talked to on that jailhouse call we listened to. I think she gave her Xanax to make her sleep and she either left her in the car alone at night(:furious:) or left her with friends. I believe most of the time she left her with Cindy and George. I think she was probably ticked off on the 16th because they didn't want to watch her for some reason.:waitasec:

I think that person was Cindy. There is no indication of a real babysitter, ZG doesn't exisit in that role, and no one else is coming forward and saying I babysat her. Casey let Cindy raise her daughter and then in early June Casey is posting on myspace about moving in with Amy, that falls apart, and mysteriously Casey is out at Fusian every weekend, Caylee is gone, and Cindy hasn't see her in that month.

the car or the car trunk was the baby sitter :furious::furious::furious::furious:

If she was using Xanex or anything like it to keep Caylee sleeping while she went out they can drug test the hair that they found in the car or samples they have taken from the house. That kind of history is there for a long time. If it was a one time "find it on Caylee's own and ODed" type of drug that I think would be harder to determine at this point since so much time has passed and they are not likely to have tissue samples.

I never thought about it being traced in her hair....good point

sorry to interrupt, but does anybody the name of the elementary school they searched behind a week or so ago?

I don't like talking much about personal things but I will say that I grew up with an alcoholic mother who either left me with friends or would leave me in the car alone stating "I will be back in a minute" sometimes she would leave me there for hours. My father traveled and was not at home and never knew this until years later, after my mother died, when I finally told him.
For obvious reasons I hate the fact that folks do this...but I know first hand that they do.

I think you're right. Cindy calling Casey sweetheart and sweetie while she was on the phone with her in that one 13 min. phone call makes that clear. Cindy will freak.

I'm probably in the minority here but I feel sorry for the GP's and Lee. I think they are living a nightmare and cannot face the truth that's hitting them in the face and are willing to believe any alternative theory that says that Caylee is alive and that Casey is innocent. The truth at this point, is too much for them to take. I know it took Sharon Rocca a whole month to doubt Scott peterson and he was not even her son. Watching their story play out is like watching a train wreck. My heart goes out to them when they come to the realization that Caylee is gone and that Casey is responsible. I hope grief counselors are available. Cindy worries me the most. She may look composed but that realization may be too much for her to take.
so sad :-(

This has always stood out to me as well. The way she goes right in to calling Casey "sweetheart" when she sees that Casey is about to blow. It's apparent that she is trying to help Casey compose herself and get back on the same page. It seem to me that she is trying to re-direct Casey from knowing that Cindy is skeptical of CAseys story at the time.

I'm wondering the same thing myself Tracey....anyone???

It was in regards to protecting Casey from her jailhouse tapes and visits released to the media. It was worded strangely.

OH... gotcha. Thank you. I, of course, was thinking of what we know as the "traditional" protective order, i.e., restraining order or something and was scratching my head over that one. (Not that I don't think she might need one, at some point... against the general public.)

OH BOY, here we go again:

Caylee Anthony's Grandfather Says 3-Year-Old Has Been Kidnapped

POSTED: 12:02 pm EDT August 12, 2008
UPDATED: 12:38 pm EDT August 12, 2008

OVIEDO, Fla. -- It's been 28 days since now 3-year-old Caylee Anthony was reported missing. Caylee's grandfather told Eyewitness News on Tuesday that she was kidnapped and the people that have her are being watched.

George Anthony told Eyewitness News he was supposed to meet in Oviedo on Tuesday morning with "people assisting outside the normal scope of things" and he seemed to suggest that the people are doing surveillance on kidnappers who he believes have his granddaughter."These people know they are being watched. They know it," George told Eyewitness News on Tuesday morning."Who are these people?" WFTV reporter Derrol Nail asked."I really can't get into that with you," George said."Are there people out there who can help you find these people?" Nail asked."Yeah, you would think that the people who have my granddaughter right now would be smart enough to turn this girl back in to her family. I don't want anymore of this going on," he said."You really believe that, George, with all the evidence out there to the counter?" Nail asked."Oh, deeply. You know something? Stuff that's out there so far, I hope I can say this as politely as I can, evidence that's out there is circumstantial. Evidence that's out there is being drawn up in someone's mind. Just because some things look like it's going in one way, it could go in a totally different way," he said.

hmmm...wonder if these ppl are the psychics we all discussed in yesterday's threads...

OK...looking over all the info posted from the clerk...so was Baez the public defender? I see the PD was asked to be relieved 7/31...that's 2 weeks after the arrest...not the norm if it wasn't Baez. Just curious...can anyone explain?

I don't care about their show, I don't care about the small amount of money they received to come here, none of that matters to me. Only the fact they are here searching.

Yes, I know they were NOT invited, they did it on their own. They were coming here if they received money or not.

Yes, we all pay for our meals that we make at home and we all know the cost of eating out.

I don't know if they invited the press, or if the media read it right here that they were coming or if the media went to their site and read it themselves.

I am just looking at this team as normal people out looking and they are looking for the sweet, innocent, precious Caylee, who is the focus of all of our hearts.

Someone has to find Caylee ... please someone find Caylee!

AMEN to that Patty G....please find this little precious girl!

The media is really looking for anything at this point, aren't they? Why SEARCH? There isn't a clue on the planet WHERE to search. Please, someone -- tell me what I'm missing here. Orlando is a biiiiiiig place and who's to say little Caylee is even IN Orlando?!
