Confuscious says : didn't the Tampa trip & the "mini vaca" explanations come out of Cindy's/George's camp - not Casey's?

There was also a myspace comment from Casey at the end of June IIRC that states there will be no vacations for her she was sorry to say (in so many words).

This is just speculation on my part, because of things said at the beginning. I think June 9 is when Casey moved out.

According to the DJ/best friend/roommate of Tony, Casey met Tony at a party on May 24th. The date of June 9th as a date when Casey moved out of her parent's home and moved in with Tony is a logical date.

According to the DJ friend Caylee and Casey were at Tony's on Friday the 13th during the day. Casey left took Caylee to GPS and came back to Tony's and some of us believe Fusian, I believe Tony did not go to Fusian that night, but I would have to dig up a transcript to be sure.

I'm right there with ya, and whatever happened did not stand in the way of another Casey appearance at fusian on the 20th.

sick. pathetic. so so so very sad. cannot imagine. when we finally get to this part of the case - that Casey, as the news ppl say, "has ice in her veins," it makes me shudder. going out after something happens to take your child away from you? only reason for this is was she was trying to pass it off and act "normal" and not have anyone wondering what was up with her or asking too many questions...

also, on the issue of the 15/16, the tampa trip and then the "mini vaca" trip, and specifically Cindy seeming not to even know that Casey "moving out" could have been eminent: could it be that Casey didn't tell her mother that she was moving out because she knew it would cause another fight because they'd already fought about the issue or idea of her moving out previously? Maybe the fight would have been about either (1) Casey didn't intend to take Caylee with her, meaning she was saddling her parental duties to her parents, which could have upset Cindy/George (though I'm not convinced this would have been the case,) or (2) Casey intended to take Caylee with her, which upset Cindy/George because they had been the parental role models for Caylee and were afraid/were certain Casey wouldn't be able to properly take care of Caylee by herself (which is what I'm leaning towards presently)?

Casey having plans to move out and Cindy not knowing about those plans makes sense. Cindy also says on the 911 tapes, during the transfer I think, something about going to court for custody if she wants to play that way. I doubt that is the first time Casey has heard that threat.

I've been asking why would she put the disappearance at June 9 when it's obviously later than Father's Day June 15 at the visit that was video taped...and the best explanation I've heard yet is that she just got her dates mixed up ...
thoughts?

In some places I still see the June 9th date. There was too much emphasis on the 31 days IMO...but maybe that's just me.

1. Parent whos friends are single and partying all the time.

2. Parent whose parents have said they are limiting or stopping support.

3. Parent whose parents are tired of being babysitter for party nights and have cut off/limited babysitting.

4. Parent whose parents were enablers.

5. Parent who is the textbook definition of a narcissist.

6. Parent who doesn't seem too concerned that her child is missing.

7. Parent who was all over the place in the days after child goes missing.

8. Parent who tells a story that is questionable at the very least as to how child disappeared.

Oh, in all of the above - in MD's case it would be her GP's in place of parents. I just think that Casey and MD are a lot alike.

my real question was more to the issue of whether or not this case will end up like the TD case - wherein the trail ended abruptly when the prime suspect MOTHER committed suicide after a national news interview wherein she was unable to answer the hard questions we all want to now ask Casey BUT wait, we cannot as she's already behind bars and lawyered up. :furious::furious:

The bottom line to Casey talking is the DNA evidence. Baez isn't going to let her SAY A WORD until the results are made known.

If they come back positive -- she will probably say it was an accident.

If they come back negative -- she won't say a word and the case will probably never be solved.

Alas, I worry that you are "absolutely" right.

What is everyone's theory on why the visit between George and Casey that lasted 45 minutes has never been released?

I personally don't think she "moved" out I think she just disappeared to stay with TonE from the 9th until the 15th. Packed a few party dresses in a back pack. I'd be willing to bet 95% of her things & Caylee's were still at the Anthony home.

Then she knew she had to produce Caylee for Father's Day (or was she with the GPs?) and a fight ensued about her behavior. GP early on made mention that Casey had been hanging with a bunch of new friends. Maybe there was a drastic change in her behavior. Could be!! Good post!

The police are called on July 15th, Casey says she hasn't seen Caylee in 31 days which puts us back to June 15/16th. That seems relevant to me, I think the 9th was just a mistake on Cindy's part. Same day of the week, just a week later.

My feeling about George and Cindy is that unless/until there is definitive proof (for them, probably Caylee's body being found), their hearts won't let them discount the possibility -- however small -- that she might still be alive. I think that's why George made the comments about the kidnappers. He may think there's some tiny chance she really was kidnapped (even if not by the sitter) or was given away, sold, whatever. So perhaps he thinks if he can make the bad guys believe that their every move is being watched, they would be afraid to harm Caylee and might even release her.

Going that far with it (saying they know who has Caylee and that they're being watched) is more involved than necessary to ensure word gets back to Casey that the family really does still believe her. Makes me think George wants to be sure he's tried every tactic he can think of so long as there's even a whisper of a possibility that Caylee's being held by someone. If she were my grandchild, I might well cling to that one in a million possibility too. So I can't judge too harshly for his comments, ridiculous as they may seem on their face.

I think the GPs are playing both ends against the middle. They are cooperating with LE behind closed doors and at the same time are willing to continue to support Casey, either because there could be some grain of truth in Casey's story or just to get more info from her. Otherwise, they have to go emotionally where no one would want to go -- both in terms of their granddaughter's fate and their own daughter's involvement. As you can see, I'm trying really hard to justify for myself the family's peculiar behavior (which is getting more and more difficult to do). I waffle between being aggravated with them and feeling so heartbroken for them I can barely stand it.

I think Baez has reported back to Casey that the GPs are giving up evidence, talking to LE, giving the big interview to Greta, etc. -- and Casey's just plain pissed about it all, so she "punishes" the family by refusing to see them. Baez knows that wouldn't sound good if made known, so he comes up with a ridiculous excuse as to why she won't see the family.

I think the biggest mistake the family is not having beat the living daylights out of Casey until she spilled the truth...before they called LE into the mix. I think there's a damn good chance Cindy would get it out of her if left alone with her long enough.

There could also be more crime scene investigators taking items from the Anthony home but until the evidence points them in another direction Captain Nieves says the sheriff's office is treating this case is still a missing person case, not a murder case. “As items, as information that’s credible become knows, detectives will continue to respond back…re-interview…speak to same people that spoken to. If they need to, they’ll do additional collections in the coming days or coming weeks that is all part of an investigation that is open and ongoing.”

They still don't have any results back from DNA tests from Casey's car or the Anthony backyard. The FBI still has those DNA samples for testing and the results are not in yet.

I will look for it too because I thought the last date Tony and the DJ saw Caylee was the 2nd of June, which is when the neighbors saw her in the pool.

There is a picture of Casey at Fusian on the 13th, she was definitely there. And then there are the pictures from the 20th, and then all of her comments on myspace are recruiting people for the 27th as well as making arrangements to be there. No pictures I have seen yet that put her there, but no comments about missing it. The 4th there the BarBQ party, and then more posts about going on the 10th, but again no verification that she made it.

Tony said the last time he saw Caylee was on June 2 when she was in the pool at his apartment complex playing with dishes.

The DJ/roommate said he last saw Caylee on June 13th. It was a Friday and he stayed home from Fusian that night.

If she left Caylee at the Anthony's from the 9th to the 15th, Casey may have appeared for Father's Day, a fight about needing to be a mother instead of out partying with her new friends. Casey leaves with Caylee the next morning and no one ever sees her again.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong about this:

Casey met Tony on May 24th and was moving in with him on June 9th? Presumably with Caylee in tow?

Who on earth meets someone then moves in with them some 2 weeks later? Much less with a 2-yr old child?????

The more I read the more my mind just boggles.

I don't know if I buy that...why would Baez request the info then?
