I think that maybe Caylee's father is the marine named Hawkins. If you look on his myspace page, he lists Caylee as one of his heroes, and says something along the lines of "I wish I were with you, honey. . . " He and Casey seem to have known each other for many years (unlike JP or Ricardo who, from web evidence, seem to have come into her life more recently), and Casey writes to him on July 14th that he's her best friend. Also, he has a friend (or I suspect, maybe sister) named "Carree" (note the spelling), who has made her myspace page private, BUT, on the front page it says she's mad and that "Casey Anthony should bring her daughter Caylee home". In addition, Carree (note the spelling) writes to the Marine Hawkins (I'm not listing the first name for privacy sake, the last name was clearly in the photobucket picture on his uniform) on July 20th that "I'm praying for you and the Anthonys" -- why would she be praying for him in the same breath as the Anthony's?? If he were Caylee's daddy. (My other thought is that maybe the spelling of Caylee's name is a tribute not to Lee, but to her paternal aunt . . .)

I worked in Nursing homes for years and rarely did anyone sign in or did we ask them to unless they looked unfamiliar or where acting strangely

Funny we haven't heard that Casey tried to call Tony from jail after she asked for his phone number several times.

And I think Lee does know something. I go back to her crying on the floor while her mother was walking around the back yard. Don't think she was crying because Caylee had been kidnapped. I am afraid she was crying because Lee had pinned her down and hopefully asked her some really tough questions.

I honestly think Tony should go and visit..would she deny seeing him? I think LE needs to use him to their advantage.

the first words out of her mouth were

"did you find the babysitter Yet ????????????????????????"

Isn't she in isolation? I thought I read that they even have to clear out the common room if she wants to watch TV (which probably makes her quite the popular inmate, if indeed she does bother watching).

I think Casey is catching up on all that shuteye she was missing.

According to reports she gets 1 hour of rec time alone..and some time to get some fresh air.

imo, this is another susan smith case, where the motive is a guy, tony.

Yea it could be. I just wish they would find this little girl either way. This whole case breaks my heart:(

Very intersting....

Is he currently deployed? If he were, I would suspect that could be why she's praying for him.

But this is still quite intersting.

True. There was a Father's Day card on the table, no? They could have visited a week early, but there are probably employees of the home who can confirm when they were there.

Is there a time stamp on the video?

Not that this is proof or anything but I did notice that Caylee had on the same clothing and had the same ponytail in the video that she had in the picture with her sitting in the great grandfathers lap.

I don't believe she was crying!

I don't believe she was cry crying!

I believe she was crying...

People were mad at her...

She was upset and all anyone wanted to know was where was Caylee?

She can cry when she wants.... I really believe that

That said, the statements of both Clint and George have equal validity without external confirmation, and may not be mutually exclusive.

Sure. It's possible to reconcile both statements -- but not without creating other problems. According to Clint, Casey stayed at Tony's on the night of the 15th. At around noon of the next day, George claims to have seen Casey and Caylee about to leave the family home. These two accounts are not necessarily inconsistent.

But then where was Caylee on the night of the 15th? She wasn't at Tony's, according to Clint. Cindy said she heard Casey and Caylee through the bedroom door on the night of the 15th. If Caylee was home with only the grandparents on the night of the 15th while Casey was spending the night at Tony's, (which is what you'd have to believe in order to harmonize Clint and George's statements above) Cindy would've absolutely known that she was caring for Caylee on that night, and would not have had to guess, or surmise, that the noises she heard through the door were presumably noises being made by Casey and Caylee. Logic dictates that Cindy would've asserted in no uncertain terms that she was watching Caylee on the night of the 15th. Cindy might have lied in order to suggest that Casey and Caylee were together, and safe, on the night of the 15th.

As I write this, I am leaning more and more to the idea that whatever happened to Caylee, happened on the night of the 15th on through the morning of the 16th. And the grandparents are intentionally covering things up a bit

I think they were at the nursing home, but the video is not really proof....the time and date could have been set wrong...
Yes, the Detective said on the stand that the video was taken on June 15th on Father's Day at the assisted nursing center and that he had confronted Cindy about this discrepancy the night before the hearing. This confirms it and means there is definite proof. This is the last PROVEN time Caylee was ever known to be seen alive. The rest is coming from Cindy and Casey. George has not even mentioned seeing her the night of June 15th or the morning of June 16th to my knowledge.

Yes, I doubt that makes her the belle of the ball as they say.

My big thing is siting there by herself she has had plenty of time to think. If it was indeed an accident that she would be talking up a storm to LE to get it over with and possibly get less of a sentence especially if she has been reading law books.

The longer she takes the more time for evidence that it was accidental (or neglegent IMO) will deteriorate.

For me... she was WAY TOO CALM on the 911 tape to have just been crying in the bedroom with Lee. Plus, Lee doesn't fall for her BS tears.

Casey and Caylee could have gone to bed together that night, Casey could have left later on that night, GPs could even know that she left for the night and are just not giving that detail because they know it makes Casey lok promiscous, Caylee could have been sleeping when Cindy got up for work, Casey could have come home while Cindy was in the shower, Casey could have come home before Cindy even got up that morning. All statements could be truthful and fit together. None of them really contradict one another.

And IIRC the dectectives said that she showed no emotion when they arrived.

JMO but maybe she is waiting because she knows the longer it takes to find the body less chance that LE will be able to prove how she died. I dont know what to think but IMO if this was a accident like some think she would of cracked by now.JMO

George did make the comment he seen Casey & Caylee leaving at 12:50 on the 16th- they both had a backpack on. Casey said she was taking Caylee to nanny & was going to work.

I think she stopped crying when she realized it wasn't buying her any more time or sympathy.. then she got angry

I never thought the tears were about Caylee...

but I do think she cried for Casey
