Caylee Anthony Missing 2 Year Old- General Discussion #25

It amazes me the way GM always is saying what a wonderful Mother Casey was. I wonder what she thinks NOW?
Most Mothers would be half nuts with worry on Day 2 when they couldnt find their 2 yr old and she waits 31 days before police are called in? They truly do want to help if someone calls but hard when they are given a bunch of weird, no lead imfo. How can they help? And when the dogs located the area of the trunk, what should they think? I think theyre thinking the worst nd the Mum is a liar.
Orlando is a huge area. I can see why people wouldnt search, there would be hard with all the lakes, etc. It would take real experts to search. Divers, etc SAR dogs.....
Have the parents asked for a search? or do they just hand out fliers?

Hand out fliers, whine, complain, lie, b*tch, moan, divert, spin, blame, and enable.

On a good note, the GMA does seem genuinely concerned about her car, her laptop, and her front lawn.

I think leaving her out on bail might drive her to suicide. She's going to have some form of home confinement placed on her. She's made it clear that she couldn't stand being in the house with her parents before she was arrested. She'll really crack if she's forced to be in that house constantly with no possible escape. My guess is she'll either try to hurt herself or lose it altogether.

Just a thought - and my own opinion. Since Casey is in jail she is out of harms way of the public - cant see people holding up signs against her, cant see the media frenzy at her parents house. I would hope she would get out on bond. Perhaps if she gets pressured by the public, cant go out and hang out, has to be in her parents house 24hrs a day, perhaps she would finally crack and let the world know what she knows..... I know if I were in jail removed from everything I wouldnt care, but seeing it in person might make someone of her instability finally crack.

Just a thought

Casey would just laugh. She laughed when Lee mentioned all the people when they were talking on the phone. And she said the attorney was going to show her tapes of media reports "for laughs". This is all very entertaining to her.

What's the deal on 2 of her exboyfriends being cops. I only heard of the one that resigned. Is he one of the ones referred to? Who is the other?

Make sure that you state that it is your opinion. Also, you could say something like "What if". That way you are not insinuating that these possibly innocent people are part of this case. For it to be libel or slander (broken down without all the legalese), it has to implicate that person in a crime (in this case anyway), be motivated by malice (you wanted ppl to think that this person was involved in the crime and you did so in order to hurt that persons reputation), and they have to be able to prove that. You could also make up a nick name for the ppl if you don't want to tell the name of the person you are talking about. Everyone on here is very astute and will pick up on who you are talking about.

..snip..Casey Anthony's parents are unable to visit their daughter in jail Tuesday morning, but she should be at a court hearing slated for the afternoon.

Orange County Jail spokesman Allan Moore said Anthony may have been unable to accept visitors because of a transportation issue regarding the afternoon court ..snip

If correct she did not refuse them

Strictly my opinion, but this chick thinks way too highly of herself to do any self-harm.

LOL- story of my life on the timing, LA- tell me what the #is of the post you want to bring over and I will do it for you :) Then I am glad to PM you with directions. Can't have going to year 11 without the ole c&P

Hi, Blink34!
I have been on the phone and am just now getting back on to catch up on the posts.
Thats okay. I was mostly venting on the post I did on the last page when this thread was started!

LOL, I appreciate you, Blink34!

That comment infuriated me... among many others.

"He said they have NO reason to believe Caylee is not alive."

This is a double negative, are they really saying they think she's dead?

no, that statement reads that there is no reason to think she is dead. which is pretty strange because how do you say on one hand that it is starting to look like a homocide investigation, and then say there is no reason to think the person is dead...

and they must have forensics back and it would appear that it wasnt conclusive or something would have developed from it by now.

quote from story on link "Casey Anthony is also expecting a visit on Tuesday from an ex-boyfriend

How many more of these are going to come out?

True, but so did Melinda Duckett. It's their last act of controlling the situation and taking their secrets with them. The ultimate F/U for not believing them unconditionally. Melinda Duckett's suicide note, IIRC, made herself out to be the victim because no one believed her.

I agree that she's extremely narcissistic etc, but when cornered she will get desperate. I've seen this with clients. She cares about herself and is extremely focused on living a certain lifestyle which she feels entitled to. If she sees this all collapsing and knows there is no way out, she will get desperate enough to find a way out. She'll do anything to escape the truth and life in jail. She's too much to lose (in her mind).

I'm not sure who the other one is. I just heard that there was two on Nancy Grace last night.

Oh right you are! Just like when Casey asked her mom: "you don't know what my involvement in all of this is?"

When Cindy said no, you could hear Casey's tone change and "feel" her resolve to keep lying until someone figured it out. Just my opinion, but I think Cindy lost a rare opportunity with Casey when she chose to act innocent with Casey instead of acknowledging that she (Cindy) had a pretty good idea what Casey's involvement was/is.

So sad.....

Salem

Salem, that is the very statement I cannot get around. It just makes me think that Cindy DOES know.

If LE did have forensics back and they didn't point towards Caylee being dead :( -- then wouldn't they atleast start searching for her then? Or put more information out there for others to search for Caylee?

I think LE throws some things out there to continue to play the Casey game. That way, she continues to think she's fooling everyone and will continue to talk. I don't know, I could be way off...
