So are we thinking that something happened between the 24th and the 27th
and that she lied about the 31 days?

And where would Caylee have been between June 16th and the 24th? No one else reported seeing her IIRC.

She last saw Caylee June 15/16. She told Lee she hasn't seen Caylee in 31 days on July 15/16? It's damn close.

I would bet her phone has a camera/ video recorder... and it's possible
that she played a phone recording of Caylee so he would think she was
really there.

while i think this is a great explanation, is casey smart enough for this? i'm being serious. this girl has screwed her own case more than anything else. she has made it easier and easier for the prosecution to throw the book at her, even without a body

If you pitch the child out the car window, it's a toss-off.
Diane B you owe me one pair of shorts, one pair of underwear, and a new desk chair as I have just peed my pants! LOLOLOL Night shift is officially in da house!

After seeing all the pictures of Casey at Fusion, I've wondered if she was there to pick up guys. One of the stories out there is that Casey doesn't know who Caylee's father is, and if she was prostituting, she may have gotten pregnant by a customer. One of her girlfriends said something along the lines of a one-night stand.
I didn't see this quote or this clip. Do you know where it is and which one of her friends said it?

That's what I thought but I was wondering about the time line of
the 24th - 27th that was mentioned.

If I give Cindy the benefit of the doubt...it may be indeed a fact that Cindy heard ZG's name mentioned for the last year and half or whatever it was...Casey probably "created" her from the time she lost her job at Universal...taking Caylee with her to hang out with friends instead...or dropping her off at various friends homes

My problem with this is that, *as far as we know*, nobody's stepped up to contradict the Nanny tale, with a "You know, that's funny because... from $date1 to $date2, Casey would bring Caylee over and hang out for a while, every day", or something.

I wonder if she had keys to somebody's apartment, and slipped in and out while they were at work - boyfriends, brother, friends? ETA: Depending on the neighborhood, people might not have noticed her, or she could have completely blended in.

Is it just me...or does it seem like we keep covering the same things over and over?

Not just you! lol.. I think it's the swarm of new sleuthers and the many, many, many, absolutely many threads on this case.

and another thing...it actually, according to the arrest report...WAS a toss off! She never actually said anything about where she left her child! She stated she went to the apartment and zfg wasn't there...so poi went looking for her and she still wasn't there... and didn't go into any other detail about why she would leave her child somewhere where the babysitter wasn't even home! That poi is seriously in a layer of lies so deep she will need a backhoe to find her way out to the truth!

BROTHER!!!! That's it - and that's right - brother does have his own place. Wonder if she really did "shack" up there?

We can't get a timeline from anything she has said. We have to stick with the known facts. Her account puts it back to Father's Day and we know Caylee was definitely with Cindy that day.

Taken from Timeline, this exerpt speaks volumes and there's no going back now for Cindy-

July 3 – Casey's mother, Cindy Anthony, allegedly posts the following message* to her MySpace blog:
Subject: My Caylee is missing
Current mood: Distraught
"She came into my life unexspectedly, just as she has left me. This precious little angel from above gave me strength and unconditional love. Now she is gone and I don’t know why. All I am guilty of is loving her and providing her a safe home. Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy from the one person that should be thankfull for all of the love and support given to her. A mother’s love is deep, however there are limits when one is betrayed by the one she loved and trusted the most. A daughter comes to her mother for support when she is pregnant, the mother says without hesitation it will be ok. And it was. But then the lies and betrayal began. First it seemed harmless, ah, love is blind. A mother will look for the good in her child and give them a chance to change. This mother gave chance after chance for her daughter to change, but instead more lies more betrayal. What does the mother get for giving her daughter all of these chances? A broken heart. The daughter who stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc. Instead tells her friends that her mother is controlling her life and she needs her space. No money, no future. Where did she go? Who is now watching out for the little angel?" [sic throughout].

Haha. You can always wear a paper suit on the night shift.

No. That isn't what she said. Casey said she met ZG at the bottom of the stairs and dropped her off. When she went back she wasn't there.

When I heard Casey's phone conversation with her brother from Jail, and she mentioned that she felt Caylee was OK and that she was very close to home...I got the distinct impression that she was trying to give her brother a "coded" message...probably meaning that Caylee had been buried in their backyard, or somewhere very close. I wonder if this possibility has been discussed here.

Anyone know what time the bond hearing is tomorrow?

  • #298
Casey has to say that Caylee was stolen early on the 16th because she can not produce one witness who actually saw the little girl after that, can't produce an actual rented apartment for a babysitter, and the guy on the phone never saw Caylee. I'm even beginning to question the Father's Day nursing home visit, but surely other nurses or aides know Cindy and can vouch. Hopefully.

I tried to, but no one agreed at that time. I thought of digging up bamboo and transplanting some back on top of a shallow grave.

What's the odds that she was leaving Caylee somewhere alone all those times she was out partying?
