Hold on, hold on....

If this is a trust fund, and they have specifically stated that monies in this fund go to missing children and
then what is everyone up in arms about?

If isn't that a GOOD thing? I am not following this.

FWIW, I don't necessarily see people wanting a Caylee bracelet as a "souvenir" of this case as bizarre. I prayed a lot, and tried to help via computer, (not to mention shouting my outrage at jailhouse video on NG many MANY times) but to hold something tangible and say, "I tried to help get justice for this little girl"... and if the money went to a trust for missing children...I think I am ok with that. I think?
If thats the case why not use a childs face that is missing. It makes no sense to use a deceased childs missing shirts to make money for others. If thats the case why not just sell shirts and bracelets with just Caylee picture not with missing posted all over it.

These are leftovers. It's not like they had more made.

The fund is the family. The fund has been paying their way in life since day 31.

Dont worry it will come out in time:) IMO this case is gonna change things on how non profit and funds are required to run.And hopefully who can and cant run them:) Everything happens for a reason and hopefully this is one thats changes it for the good:)

The checks are being made to that fund, not the family. I don't understand what's so confusing about THAT.

The fund is called "Help Find Caylee Marie"...she has been found. I think it's pretty confusing to be selling t-shirts saying that now, don't you? Or do you think LE is lyng when they say they id'ed Caylee? If your child died, would you be selling t-shirts asking people to find her after she was gone? How do you think they plan to make a living now? Doesn't seem to me they want to go back to work, and within less than a month of Caylee being reported missing, George was so excited that him & Lee might get paying jobs out of this. Hmmm.

That's why there's an independent auditor/officer of the fund. The accounting of the fund has nothing to do with them.

Really? Then why in the world are they asking people to send cheques to their family at their home address. I'm sure J. Parker has her own address, or do you think she might be homeless??

Right but these are extras, right? They say "we still have some left".

I see posters saying the letters could be removed... I don't know how to do that but assuming it could be done, someone has to pay for that and clearly the A's can't afford the expense... why not sell the leftovers and give the money to missing children?

Exactly, and Casey was to be a part of this venture too, a family business of sorts.

Why not donate the items to a non profit org that can. It makes no sense to sell these items the way they are.

Cause It just isn't right, not now, maybee never, I dunno how they can even look at those Items, with little Caylee on them, its time for grieving and burial, not selling leftover Caylee is missing Items, its just not right

This message written by Cindy is very strange. My first impression was she knew for suspected Caylee was deceased. Her writing style is of the third person as if she is detached. She is angry and does not want to be found guilty of any wrong-doing because she has done all she could have done to raise the child.

She avoids the word "I" completely. She does not want to be held responsible for any wrong-doing. She came into my life suddenly and left suddenly is the gist of what I got out of it....meaning her birth and death.

Who is watching her now? She has never asked who was watching her before this?
I took it to mean that she hopes God is watching over her little angel now.

First of all, we do NOT know if these are leftovers or a new batch of a thousand. Since when do these people tell the truth? Give the money to missing children?? Surely you jest!! I don't think the word *give* is in their vocabulary, now TAKE, well........that's another story.

All funds donated to the trust fund will go directly towards funding the efforts in finding Caylee. Funds are currently being used to pay for fliers, t-shirts, water for volunteers, etc. Once Caylee is brought home all remaining funds will be donated to charities that help the families of missing children. The family does not benefit financially from any donations made to the trust fund, and it is being administered by a third party (Jody A. Parker). If you are interested in donating you may make a deposit at any Wachovia Bank in the Help Find Caylee Marie Anthony Trust Account:
Make the check or money order payable to "Help Find Caylee Marie Anthony". Any questions or request for contribution deposits may be directed to Caylee's Trustee, Jody A. Parker. - [email protected]

Wachovia Bank is not at 4937 Hopespring Dr.
Orlando, FL 32829!!!!!
And please remember if you have any questions, don't call Wachovia bank or Jody P.. Call this number:
Or questions about shirts or bracelets to George:

Left over or not doesnt give them a right to profit off a item that says missing when in fact she is not.No matter what the cause is.

They're not making a profit. The checks are payable to the fund. They don't financially administer the fund. And in regards to the request for the link - it's right there in the MySpace posting. I know many hate the Anthony's, but it's already been stated that leftover $ will be given to other missing children organizations so I'm not sure what the problem with that is.

I am confused that the Anthony family would have been called out on so many occasions for trying to profit from Caylee's horror -- and still not learned anything about the public's perception of what they do. If their intentions are to benefit other missing children they should have found another organization to give the shirts to and then there would be no doubt about who was or wasn't profiting from the sale.

So, yes, I for one am confused at the least and disappointed once again by their actions.

Bold=me
How do you know this? They only paid 4.00 for the shirts IIRC, that looks like a six dollar profit per shirt to me.
I don't care what they say will be done with the leftover money, they can SAY anything they want. The have been known to tell mistruths in the past and I for one do not trust or believe them for one minute.

Leftover money, yes. However at what point is it determined that money is leftover? I would assume that all efforts to find Caylee are no longer necessary, the family has stated the have no need to solicit for the funeral, what could they possibly need to continue to sell these items for? If they wish to recommend charities to which one might donate in memory of Caylee that is another matter entirely.
