Caylee "sighting" Reports and Tips Part 2

  • #101
I haven't read all of the sighting thread, so forgive me if this has already been posted. I've been meaning to get in here and make note of it.

In the Cindy's FBI interview, and in the jail tapes, Cindy says that the Wanda W sighting person said that the little girl she saw gave her name as "Caylee Marie 'Antoni'". Cindy says this very clearly several times, stressing that this is how Caylee says her name.

In the news interview of Wanda W, Wanda clearly states that the little girl gave her name as "Caylee Mee (phonetically) Antoni".

Just wanted to make note of this discrepancy.

Last night on Nancy Grace, they replayed a segment from Cindy and George's visit with Casey in jail-- the part where Cindy is telling Casey about the airport sighting and Cindy says that the Wanda tipster insisted that the little girl said her name was Caylee Maree Antoni-- and Casey's reaction was VERY TELLING.
She seemed rather disinterested and looked like she was slightly rolling her eyes and she blinked over the eye roll. Totally unphased. If Casey believed for a SECOND that Caylee was alive and capable of being seen, she would have reacted to what Cindy was saying about Wanda's claims. She would have jumped out of her chair. A normal human being with feelings would probably have cried. I found Casey's reaction pretty chilling and your post on the little girl's alleged statement reminded me.

The little girl in Florida Mall has a pronounced chin and upturned nose that is dissimilar to Caylee.

I think it's possible that the parents of the little girl photographed in the mall have contacted LE to clarify that their daughter is not Caylee Anthony.

If my child were photographed and wrongfully thrust into the spotlight blaring on this terrible case, I would NEVER make a public statement or go to the media. Once the parents publicly associate themselves with the photograph and with this case, they'll be scrutinized and caught up in the frenzy.
LE has already stated they are not following up on live sightings and tips. They would have no obligation to say anything about the Florida sighting specifically. If they say they have identified the child in the photo, the media and public will freak out and want to know who the child is if she's not Caylee.

I haven't read this entire thread, but that's what I think re: the FL sighting.

30 minutes is a long time to sit down and watch a kidnapped girl and do nothing. Seems to me that these to women didn't feel or see the urgency.

I remember when kidnapped girl Shasta was spotted at Denny's the waitress wasted no time calling 911 and then keeping them busy while they arrived. She didn't watch her for 30 minutes.

This is bologna.

They were on hold with crimeline for 20 minutes.

what crimeline? is crimeline 911? or did they just happen to have the A's # handy? either way, it's not Caylee. Caylee is dead.

and isn't there still a sizeable reward, too? With that kind of money available, I would have done something to get LE there quick.

If you stole/kidnapped CAylee, would you GO INTO PUBLIC with the most famous toddler in the USA? I think the idea that her capters would be strolling in a mall or dining in a restaurant with Caylee at the height of her story is absurd.....Most 3 year olds resemble Caylee to some extent....

And none of the sightings claim that Caylee has had her hair cut differently, colored a different color, permed. Nope, her captors have her out at the mall, and restaurants looking exactly as she did half a year ago. But note that the captors do NOT leave her in the trunk while they are at the restaurant or at the mall.

No..she just threw that out that they recieved a tip today and it too, was very credible. No details as usual. I mean, why let the world help them find her?

Good Point......Did they have Crimeline on speed dial?

Seems odd that they have been following this case so closely & then they just happen to run into Caylee at dinner.

What the hell was crimeline going to do even if they answered......File the tip away with the 1,800 other ones?

If they were so sure it was Caylee why didn't they walk over & approach her or call 911 or point her out to somebody else or follow them or do something,,,,anything,,,,,,,,,ANYTHING BUT LET HER WALK AWAY?

That's my number 1 question. On hold for 20 minutes supposedly. Hang up and call back or just dial 911. Or get hold of mall security. It just doesn't make sense.

OR, do like that wonderful woman who saw the bruises on the little toddler in a Walmart...and literally stopped the father from leaving the store!

She alerted security and the manager...kept them from leaving and when LE got there they arrested the father...need more heroes like her! :woohoo:

I was gagging when I heard CA state that...

IF it was a sighting of my PET I was missing...I would not be sitting on air chatting about a TIP with LK, for a nanosecond! I'd be on the next thing smoking while on the phone with LE or anyone in the area that could help me...

The A's blase accounting of all these TIPS is ludicrous.

If the tip in Tenn. is credible doesn't that mean that the tips in Newport Beach, Orlando, Dallas & Georgia are "not" credible?

Either that or the kidnappers are freely moving throughout the country & walking around with Caylee in public, in plain view of the entire population of the USA, without doing anything to alter her appearence.

These Kidnappers aren't very smart....!!!!

Caylee is on one wild vacation.

My husband walked in when the screen had a split shot of sweet Caylee and the other girl w/ ponytail and brown w/ pink shirt and said "who is she?"
I said the As's think it may be Caylee and he said "no way that's the little girl you're all upset about".
Even HE knows what Caylee looks like fgs!:bang:
Ugggghhhhh

Anyhow, does anybody know what time the hearing is supposed to be tomorrow? Sorry, i can't seem to find that info.:( tia

I'm awaiting the day of the trial that they have the parents of Mall Girl in the witness chair, and they produce their little daughter wearing the exact same outfit.

very true they always act like there keeping a secret from everyone about a siting. Its just odd that there have been 2 sitings in TN

The kidnappers are living quite well! Flying all over the country, eating out all the time, and they still have time to "flee" the area every time they are spotted. Wow~ I am guessing they have a private Lear at their disposal for all this. I wonder who is driving the limo? Lee?

ummm....maybe because everyone thinks she is dead!
Respectfully, Automatic, this does not make sense. The kidnappers would not take the child out because they think no one will notice because they think Caylee is dead!
It does not matter if the majority of people out there believe Caylee is dead. The entire nation knows what Caylee looks like. And in Orlando, Florida? Llittle Caylee's likeness has been plastered all over the place, on TV, fliers, mobile billboards, etc. Every station in the area has been featuring her story with a frenetic madness. Please, and her kidnappers are going to take this child out, in public, in a very populated location, with a completely unaltered appearance and let her play in an area where parents are sitting around with nothing better to do but watch the kids, in the very same town the child disappeared from? That would be the height of insanity! If that was really Caylee, a dozen people would be surrounding the child in minutes, with their mouths open, tears in their eyes and praises to God for the miracle that just happened. If the kidnappers were that stupid, they would have been located and caught by now. But no kidnapper would risk such a thing. And the kidnappers in this case did not risk such a thing either because they do not exist.
