That was the same lady that's in this video with the drunk cowboy saying she was with TES and she was searching for a LIVE Caylee. So she was searching in those woods for a live Caylee

My thoughts exactly. It is a full time job just sorting through all the BS to get to the actual facts but something is just not right with this whole case and at this point I think there has to be more going on. I just don't know for sure what that something is.

Yes, indeed. LE said from the beginning, as well as LP, that when everything comes out in the end, we'll be shocked. There is much more to it than we could imagine.

At first I thought, what on earth could be worse than brutally killing a baby, carrying her around in the car's truck, having the time of your life after, not reporting her "missing" for a month, and then the child's grandmother had to call LE to report the little one missing! Then that same grandmother does everything in her power for five months to waylay the search for the baby!!!!!

Could there possibly be anymore?????? :gavel: Immunity my foot. :gavel:

This whole business about "immunity" has me thinking...They haven't been charged with anything yet. Could they be making this statement to try to prompt LE to make a charge? If they haven't been charged with anything by the time the trial takes place, they will be forced to respond to questions. If they are charged before trial, they will be able to plead the fifth. Maybe they WANT to be charged now, before the trial???

So what do Cindy's cronies, I mean, the Caylee Is Alive people expect to accomplish by interfering with the remains recovery? Tim Miller said the area was flooded, the young man who lives nearby said the area was flooded, now this woman strolls in and claims they searched the area and nothing was there. Are they expecting to add doubt? Or, are they trying to claim Zenaida dumped her there recently?

Bogus! I smell a rat named CMPA. :furious:

aksleuth ITA It's another way for the defense to create defense for KC. Since the A's aren't in the media at this time, the need for a possible jury member to create a reasonable doubt. With the media etc. reporting that a press release is coming down soon the defense needs reporting of something other then possible sightings. They as we do know that this is Caylee's remains that were found. Yes and blame it on the nanny. That's what the Anthony's new lawyer said in his statement that the A's said that if this is Caylee that the invisible zanny is responsible for it.

The body was found by a meter reader going to take a leak for a specific reason. It was not coincidence. I guarantee that there was a simple way off the road there to get a few feet back from the road, and out of its visability. In other words he, without thinking about it used the same criteria as KC.

ITA, that's why so many outdoors people or lovers find bodies. They are looking for privacy. Same as someone who's dumping a body.

The fifth is only valid when it's something that incriminates yourself, not your child. G & C have spousal privledge, however. Although envoking the fifth ammendment is supposed to not have any bearing on guilt, the realitiy is that a jury will look on this with suspicion. If they choose the fifth in Casey's trial, in a jury's eyes it make them look good for accessories in a subsequent trial.

I believe in some cases, you can't plead the fifth before certain GJs, so I don't that GA had that option when he testified.

Were I procecuting, I'd only grant immunity if I felt I needed it. Unsure of the evidence LE has, the Anthony counsel feels it's best to "roll-the-dice" and put ans offer out there now. Time is on the prosecution's side, so I don't expect any deals soon. If I did need their testimony, I think divide and conquer works best. So I'd charge LA, GA and CA all separately with anything I could, and work any immunity deals separately. GA and CA are a little sticky due to spousal immunity.

We don't know what's being said behind closed doors, but I think the GPs hand is extremely weak, unless they are offering something other than "really really" telling the truth. Now if there's a question in council's mind that GA might appear to have lied to the GJ, then the case for cutting an immunity ASAP would be compelling. I don't think GA would go there, but so far this case defies all common convention.

You do not have to be charged with anything to take the fifth. The defendent or a witness has the right to do so. If they do not have immunity and the answer to the question they are being asked on the stand would put them in conflict with sworn statement to LE or the FBI they would be able to refuse to answer because doing so would incriminate them (or by giving the matching false answer they would be committing perjury).

One woman said off camera Wednesday that she was part of a Texas Equusearch team that scoured this area. She claims to have photographic evidence that proves the remains were not there when they searched. Investigators reviewed the photos and took her statement.

And this is an UGLY exchange-- I'm guessing this cowboy hat man wasn't really with TES right? Is he intoxicated?? This was ODD. And that's the lady who told LE today that the remains discovery area was cleared during the search.

I thought she told the media, not LE, and that it was the media who notified LE. I know I read a news story about this when it was first reported. It was in the Updates links from yesterday. Please don't make me search for it lol.

If I recall, the cowboy hat dude had 1) led TES searchers astray on his search team, and 2) was rumored to have been hired to disrupt the BP search.

Now we have this lady, who was with cowboy hat dude, 'attesting' to Caylee's body not being there when she supposedly searched there?

Some people in another thread were trying to track her down last night before I went to sleep. They seemed to think she was neighbor and friend of As named 'Holly'. She's been at the vigils etc. in pics.
