Looks like there was a verdict but no sound.

Thank you. Sorry to bother you again but how long would it take for Maria to get from the bus station to Meadow Trail.

IMO

About 15-20 minutes... I'd lean more toward 20 on that day.

On an unrelated note, I was out in town during my lunch break and turned down Onslow drive, past the bus station. Made me very, very sad to think that driving down that road is one of the last things Maria may have ever done. :(

Bad, someone said it was pay-day too. Maybe marinewife? :waitasec:

Yes, December 14 was a Friday. The military get paid on the 1st and the 15th unless those days are Sat or Sun, in which case they get paid on the Friday before.

Laurean convicted in pregnant Marine's death

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A former Camp Lejeune Marine was found guilty Monday of killing a pregnant comrade in December 2007.

Jurors deliberated for about three hours before finding Cesar Laurean guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach.

Hmmm, pretty quick verdict. Something convinced 12 jurors pretty quickly. Would be interesting to know what.

Well that wasn't surprising.

Thank you so much for the interesting discussions concerning this case everyone.

I wish the civil suit would be aired in the future but I doubt it will be.

RIP, Maria

I sure will be glad when the Gee Family murder case starts and the Ga. Mass Murder case. I don't know which case I will concentrate on now. Maybe the Petit murder trial.

I know the sentence will be LWOP but has any outlet said whether they convicted him on premeditation or on the felony murder rule?

WITN scroll on the news says he will be sentenced to life in prison and that cesar has already stated he will appeal
