If Chad owed any back support, he would still have to pay it whether or not he had custody. IDK if he did, but just throwing it out there.

that's true....depends on how long he's had custody. If it's been a few years, he may have caught up on the back support owed by now, if any.

He seems to be damned any old way. If he doesn't take care of his own children, it may mean he was a bad stepfather to Haleigh. If he takes care of his own children it may mean he was a bad stepfather to Haleigh.

Totally unconnected and different country even but my cousins ex wife had custody of his youngest child. She made allegations up so he couldnt see his child. However in the end he proved her allegations were wrong and he got custody and she only got supervised access - it is possible something similar could have happened here IMO.

I've never read anything official in the Media regarding what you ask.

Nor do I. He seems to be about the only family member that hasn't had the spotlight shone on him, and after 6 months, we don't even have 2 full pages of posts on him (probably the only person close to Haleigh to have so little posted about him). I don't recall anyone (NG, JVM, GR) asking anyone that question.

That is something I would like to know and get to the bottom of. I have read it here and other places but it is at this point hearsay and with no MEDIA coverage or confirmation from LE and or a confession of alibi on the Internet it is a moot point to argue over (not meaning you and I). I have to say it is clear that Chad has not been cleared and LE has taken advantage of every opportunity to question Chad and ask him to take a LDTs also and he has not been official cleared yet. The Baker County search was one of the most expensive searches to date in my opinion in regards to HaLeigh's abduction. I am on my way out of town (to hunt) and won't be back till Sun. Y'all have a nice weekend. Hope Haleigh is found today!

There is no verifiable proof he was gassing his rig at 5 a.m., no confirmation by LE that he's a POI/Suspect/Considered in any fashion to be worth looking into, had nothing to do with the search at the farm other than that he lives on it with his family.......

The Baker Co. search turned up nothing but a reported crack pipe which can't even be placed into Chad's hand without Cirque du Soleil acrobatics and .... okay. I'm still not seeing how he's obviously the one everyone should be looking at for this.

Chad has escaped the scrutiny of the media and not much is known about him, he has kept a low profile. All we know is that he is MG's step-son, CS's fiance' and now has custody of his 2 children. He has a job, he and CS live together and rumors are that he was not home on Monday night - he may work nights for all we know.

Even without any confirmation, I can guarantee that LE talked to him and know everything there is to know about him - he's the live-in bf of the mother of a missing child, he would be at the top of the list of suspects along with RC, MC, CS, Gannys, GreatGrannys, Grampas, Step-family members, Uncles, Aunts, GreatAunts, RSO's, SO's, friends, ex-lovers, neighbors, Martians and other alien life forms.
