Charges of Interference, Harassment, and/or Trespassing filed with HCSO

Other than "Snapped", most of those shows seem to stick to the suburban-type crimes, or domestic/suburban. As far as Nancy Grace, she seemed to lose interest as soon as Heather went from her presentation of an innocent young teen on a first date, to a TK employee dating a married man. Also, most of the main crime shows wait until after trial to produce anything. I really feel like the factors of Heather's job and behavior of TM, and some of the locals, for example, are factors that make mainstream media less interested, rather than more.

In the Broderick case, the main difference is that Betty tried to kill both, but her ex-husband survived the shooting.

Actually, Betty killed them both.

BETTY killed BOTH her ex and his wife.

Betty Broderick, after a four-year uphill battle to keep her dignity (which she often failed to do) and her sanity (which she rarely failed to do), killed her ex-husband,

Definitely going to "show" my age with this.....I watched her trial on the old Court TV. lol
What a great channel that was! Broderick, Menendez, OJ....all shown without commercials! Live! And, replayed at night! The only commentary was done during breaks and lunch. Just amazing.

I watched those trials. Court TV was real good way back when.

My apologies if this has been discussed and I missed it. I was wondering what is up with SM and 1:30ish am? He called Heather from the payphone at 1:35am and then claimed the two men pointed a gun at him on Feb.20th - "The incident occurred at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday morning, and was reported at 1:38 a.m.

During the time from when Heather went missing till the Moorers were jailed, I noticed a pattern with events occurring between 1030 - 130. Tammy's internet postings, her jogs (if you believe that), and her visiting friends would start at 1030 pm. My guess was that she put the kids to bed at 10 and they began their "adults only" life then and was drunk and out of hand by 1:30 am.

I hadn't seen the details of this part yet. My apologies if it's been posted already and I just missed it.

New harassment reports
Police reports obtained by Waccamaw Publishers state Horry County police were contacted on May 2 regarding a harassment complaint at Dick Pond Road and Peachtree Road.
According to the report, a witness called an Horry County sheriff's deputy to say there was a sign with Sidney and Tammy Moorer's faces on it hanging from a stop sign at the intersection near a bait and tackle shop.
The witness told police that the sign also contained a photograph of the late William Caison, Tammy's father, who recently passed away. There was a red "X" over his face with hate speech written below, the report said.
According to the report, the witness said he saw a man, who was driving a white SUV that appeared to be a Cadillac Escalade, hang the sign with zip ties.
The deputy handed the sign to the responding Horry County police officer. The officer checked the area to see if other signs had been hung, but couldn't find any.
Facts of the case were reviewed with the solicitor's office and the matter was referred to Horry County Planning and Zoning for followup, a second report dated May 15 said.
According to a third report dated May 3, Moorer family members told police they recovered another sign at the intersection of S.C. 544 and Mill Pond Road. The family took down the sign and gave it to their attorney, the report said.
Two of the police reports list a Carolina Forest area man as the suspect. Waccamaw Publishers does not normally name suspects mentioned in police reports until charges are filed.
Horry County spokeswoman Lisa Bourcier said via email that there is no record of any planning or zoning violations that have been levied as of this posting.
"You have received everything we have," she said.

Terrible. This is not the way to show support for the Elvis family.

I totally agree. I think their family should relocate for a while to let tensions die down. Didn't Tammy brag about owning land somewhere an hour or so away? I don't think there was a house, though. Maybe they stayed in their camper when they went there.

Completely believable since some think WC was involved in Heather's murder or disposal. They reported it, gave the sign to LE, and provided the name of who they think did it, and the car he drives. What more are they supposed to do?

Unless they have the money and/or already a place to go, relocating is not easy. They would have to relocate until the trial, and what about after? It has not stopped w/ the Moorers being arrested. If Heather is still not found, people will still be angry. They also have to be far enough away that people cannot drive there from HC. I think it will get really bad during the trial though, w/ all the info coming out, lots of interest, daily coverage, etc.

Tensions should have died down a while ago since the suspects were arrested, and the case is almost 6 months old.

I'm not sure about the land, but I do agree that leaving the area would be beneficial. I'd think they would want to do that for the Moorer children regardless. I think it's crazy to allow the kids to be so exposed to all of this.

This type of thing is wrong..just wrong. I'm glad they reported it. As far as people thinking that WC was involved...there is very good reason for people thinking that. WC threatened searchers who were not even on his property. Was he involved in Heather's murder? I have no idea but he didn't do himself any favors or his family with his actions. So just to be clear....what's happening now with the signs is wrong...again...it is wrong...no question. But am I shocked that the man who was threatening people is now on a sign? No. It's wrong but no surprise.

Do the kids just live with grandma? Anyone else?
I feel like, in the depths of my memory, from way back, that AC may also live in that house, or at least on the property. Anybody else remember that?

But he is dead. What do the harassers want the family to do? Do they think WC told them what happened? I am just trying to understand the logic of these people.

I really couldn't say as I'm not one of the harassers. Maybe they think WC helped with Heather's murder, maybe they think WC didn't help but does know what happened, maybe they are simply upset by the way WC treated the people who were trying to find Heather, maybe they are just total jerks. Who knows...you'd have to ask them. This family makes a habit of spewing threats and harassment on and off line, via text, calling the place of employment(TM calling TK wanting Heather fired) and in person(WC)...and then they always seem shocked that people would have the nerve to be upset with them or dare to treat them the same way they treat others. None of it will help find Heather.

But he is dead. He can't see the photos or see what they are saying.

Neither the kids or grandma have made any threats, so why are they being harassed?

What does their mother and grandfather making threats have to do with them being harassed? The mother is in jail. The grandfather is dead. Neither one of them is a victim of harassment.

TM and WC's actions do not equal the whole family.
