Charity Distances Itself From Anthonys; Shoe Donations

They have run out of pic's and videos to sell so I look for them to start selling off Caylee's belongings at an auction or on Ebay. Could make them some money ya know. That seems to be what it is all about for them.

I wonder how many pairs of shoes Cindy gave away. She is probably hoping that the some show will hear and want them to come on their show to talk about it...after paying them a hefty little sum.

You must be psychic. My first thought was eBay as well. How sad is that?

IMO.. the choice for the organization to donate to.. was intentionally planned to be for spanish speaking children. (THAT"S why the email notifying the media) After all... CA has to do some damage control for trial. Statements from KC's friends, who will all be testifying, includes comments about all the bias and prejudice KC told them her mother had for latin folks.

of all the charities helping children out there needing things.. she picks one so far from home? I am sure there are many children charities right there in Florida who would be happy to get the items as well as some free publicity.

Makes NO sense.. unless of course.. you have an ulterior motive.

I have no qualms about donating a deceased persons (even a child) belongings that are still very usable to orgs that help children and their families.

Should I call the media next time I make a donation to Goodwill (which I make on a regular basis and to the salvation army or the local food bank)?

C. Anthony needs to realize she is not a celebrity. She is not a quasi-celebrity either. She's not a reality TV celebrity.

She is the Mother of a Woman that murdered her own daughter. Women murder their children every week.

Sorry for the rant, but honestly--she is no one a no body. Caylee will be who everyone remembers. Not Caylee's Mother, and especially not Caylee's Grandmother.

Personally speaking, I think Baez always has been the puppetmaster with CA since near the beginning. As soon as CA decided KC wouldn't drop him, CA decided to play his game. She thinks she is smarter than him and can control him if she keeps him close. Meanwhile Baez drops a little nugget in CA's ear, well knowing what pushes her buttons, and off she goes.. right on the tangent he sent her on. Heck, anyone who has a computer and can watch videos.. is well aware of how to push CA's buttons. JB and CA are cut from the same cloth. The whole pack of them deserve each other.

JB is the one playing Cindy and she feeds right into him.

There is no child less fortunate than Caylee if she can still wear shoes. Caylee is deceased and will never wear a pair of shoes or go barefoot again.

If you check Guidestar.org, they have filed an IRS form 990 for 2009.

I think you must register (no cost) to view the document but I'm not positive.

Is this an orchestrated move to support Baez' latest motion? Will we be hearing Baez blab in court about how the poor grandmother can't even donate items to charity without it making headline news? Glad the article mentioned that CA alerted them by email, yet Baez will still downplay that fact and still claim it's media sensationalism harmful to the case. Timing of this reported trivia is kinda suspicious.

It appears it was reinstated...

Just learned that Douglas L Grable (who was attorney and also agent for various charitable organizations is now apparently deceased (according to FL Bar Assoc website)...

Haven't determined yet when he died but these charities may have been reinstated when other officers took over, etc....

EDIT TO ADD: Douglas Grable apparently became deceased prior to April of 2006 as new registered agent is assigned.

Douglas Grable's only role in foundation appears to be attorney who filed incorporation and was listed as first Registered Agent....

Why does Cindy feel the need to publicize and single out her donation of Caylee's shoes? What about other people who donate?

There are many church groups, school groups etc..that do this exact thing including, during times of despair after a disater.

Many families have donated and continue to donate clothes and shoes used and new to charitable fundraisers such as this without the need to publicize who the shoes belonged to..alive or dead.

Does she think by publicizing her donation of Caylee's shoes that the charity will get more people to come to donate to the event?

So she wants us locals to attend because she, Cindy (I am beginning to think, a celebrity in her own mind), will donate her murdered granddaughters shoes.
