Sooooooo...who is going to watch his show tonight?!?!?!
Not me....I have never ever liked that show.DEPUTYDAWG said:Sooooooo...who is going to watch his show tonight?!?!?!
I've never liked Two and a Half Men either. I liked Spin City, but before Charlie and Heather. :hand:Masissy said:Not me....I have never ever liked that show.
You haven't been to a goth club/rave lately, have ya? The big thing is pleated plaid skirts, knee-high socks, Mary Janes (or outrageous platform shoes), and hair put up in either pigtail/pontytails with the shirt tied off at the waist, usually accompanied by Hello Kitty lunchboxes/purses and a Disney Princess/Betty Boop backpack. Virtually every other girl (ranging between 19-30) is dressed this way. It's called "Catholic High School Girl in Trouble" (after the joke movie in KENTUCKY FRIED MOVIE) and it's been popular for about 5+ years. It's considered fetish fashion--right up there with dressing like Naughty Nurses and dominatrixes. The gay male equivalent is dressing in old-school football gear (1960s-1970s style suits and padding--not the Gladiator-style stuff you see on players today) or as cowboys.txsvicki said:If the girls and young men in thewere of age, then it was just so that child
charges wouldn't be filed on the people involved or on people viewing it. They were deliberately trying to look as young as possible by appearing young and with braids so that they could feed the fantasies of sicko perverts who are attracted by kids. High school and college girls don't wear braids and high school boys aren't the type for normal people to want to look at as in attraction or sexy. To me, anyone under the age of 21 is a kid.
I know another Heidi girl who went on to be in popular rock band (she's since dropped out) and she said the same thing re Richards as well.Masterj said:Okay, I just spoke with my friend who still works in entertainment and who's very close friend is a former Heidi Fleiss girl. Her friend confirmed that yes, Denise Richards was a Heidi girl whom she used to work with and this is how she met Charlie. I have no idea how old Denise was at the time. As for her appearing in a Seinfeld episode, many of Heidi's girls were actresses doing double duty. I totally believe this as 1. I now have it confirmed by another one of Heidi's girls and 2. I've heard it from too many people in the biz to chalk it up to just another rumor.
That said, her past doesn't mean Charlie has the right to abuse her or anything. However, it does say to me that she had a pretty good sense of what he was about before she married him. She was probably hoping she would be the one who could "change" him. I will never understand that mentality.
hate to go against the % here- but I am on this wavelink myself- she married him, she had children with him........and she reconciled with him after the birth of the second child--- I think we might need to hear this one out-- from BOTH sides== easy to accuse- :truce:Tom'sGirl said:Right on BGG, for crying out loud she wasn't a kid when she married him, knew all that he had done, marries him anyway, has problems after the birth of their first child, THEN GETS PREGNANT AGAIN  Not too smart for a woman her age.
I feel sorry for Charlie's grown daughter, she must have hated seeing his name in the news for so many years.
Youre right they do say some nasty stuff on there. Its kind of sad the boy says stuff too.BeeBee said:You know, I used to like the show but after awhile it got boring what with most all of them being about whether Charlie got layed or not. And, they really do get away with saying things that are just downright nasty. Not even Will and Grace go as far as 2 and Half Men do. Even the kid gets into the act. My husband watches it but I don't much anymore.

I agree-- I think it was very judgemental to go with pedophile -- these suggestions I think are a bit more fitting-HeartofTexas said:AlwaysShocked, I would suggest either "pervert" or "sex addict" as the replacement word, but maybe someone else will have a better idea. Amraan seems to drop by this thread periodically, so maybe she can change the title for you. I think we lose the ability to edit after 24 hours, and then it has to be done by a moderator.

As for the show, I agree with posters above who say the heart of the humor is the brother, not the Charlie Sheen character. Sheen's great contribution is being a good sport about basically playing himself.
And as for the kid (who is brilliant, I think), I watch the show regularly and have never heard him say anything that isn't pretty typical for an 11-year-old boy. I might not have said some of those things in front of my parents when I was that age, but I lived with my mother and grandmother. I talked very differently in an all-male environment, such as the YMCA.
There's something VERY wrong with this statement. I bet Charlie Sheen has never been near a washer or a dryer, let alone been involved with how his kid's clothes make it thru the wash cycle. Combined with the other information we've read in recent days, this sounds like a big red flag to me. I truly think this man needs to get himself out of denial and into treatment.he was tired of the kids clothes falling apart in the wash
