Cheryl Dunlap Murder-Evidence Connected To GHM

there is no proof of any of this about the rope( or the tanks, etc.), as far as I know. Links please, to actual confirmation!!!!

Native NewYorker, thanks for your reply and I honor your opinion.

Why was there blood in GMH's van when he was arrested at 8:00 PM on 01/04/08 at the Chevron at 3500 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Chamblee Rd?

You can order the video from WSB 2 Atlanta, from 01/07/08 where they videoed and witnessed the rope and wooden spool in the shed that was missed by the GBI's initial investigation of the Densmore House.

The lab results from the items taken from this property on several occasions can be obtained by a FOIA request, from the GBI.

The GBI agent that visited my home a few months ago verified that the tanks and rope were taken in for testing by the GBI, when I alerted him that they were missing from the property. I thought that someone had stolen them to sell for scrap metal. He informed me that they had been confiscated by the GBI for forensic testing.

I have followed GMH and his murders from the time of the Emerson murder, but have not come to the same conclusions that you have.

NNY, thanks for your reply.
I have been lerking on websleuths for over a year now. I saw the comments directed at me on page 4 and would like to respond to them with courtesy and clarity.

Not trying to one up you NNY, but the Meredith Hope Emerson; tragedy was thrown in my lap. I actually saw his van in the woods by the river next to my home at 6:30 PM the day before he was arrested. The public as well as the local Sheriffs Depts were led to believe that Meredith, was lost on Blood Mtn.

Many of the descriptions of GMH, and observations made by me 01/2008 have been verified by LE, and other methods. Again, I understand your skepticism, especially with the ranting and raving by me in the early days of the journey.
I am confident that Meredith should have been rescued. She fought him for 4 days buying time for a rescue by LE. That rescue never came, but Meredith brought GMH's evil 'trail of terror' to an abrupt end..
Please watch the Deadly Run movie and play close attention to the script.
If you live near or visit the No GA Mtns, I will gladly take you on the journey and demonstrate the effectiveness of dowsing. Dowsing is an ancient art; practiced over 5,000 years.

NNY, What conclusions have you come too, concerning GMH & his murders. I am very interested to hear them.

Over a month later and you have ignored my reply for your take on Gary Michael Hilton, yet you challenge my information and expect a courteous reply, which you received.

Was it tied around her hands or where? The spool would be the one in the first picture that is sitting flat on the ground then but was it a hole cut in the spool? I can't get how moving her shoulders would have done anything. The rope in the first picture looks different.

The spool that Meredith was tied too is the spool standing on its side directly behind the speaker in the first pic. You can read 'Metal CO' stamped on it. If you look closely you can see an opening in the spool shaped like a banana. This is where the rope ran through the reel that had a 45 degree cut inside causing it to fray. Her upper torso was secured to the wooden reel with the rope. A small hank of rope was coiled and hung on a nail next to the reel. This smaller diameter rope was used as a lease for Ella.

I still don't see it. She was tied up around her waist or shoulders, what about her hands then? What could she rub against and then how long would it take to break through rope like that? That place looks like it is open. It was always cold. What day was this going on?That board with the rope in the picture, is that the one going over to the spool turned flat against the ground? It looks like the rope was different in the first one.

Snipets from an intertesting article on DNA Labs:

Jan Burke and the Crime Lab Project

by Andrea Campbell

The Crime Lab Project is a nonprofit that raises public awareness of the problems and challenges facing public forensic science. We see the lack of support given to labs as a matter that has a growing negative impact on many areas, including law enforcement, criminal justice, health, public safety, and national security. It's costly, both in human suffering and economically.

Many people who are devoted fans of forensic science-themed shows and novels imagine forensic science labs to be ultra-modern, fully staffed by highly trained techs who whip out results almost as fast as the evidence comes in the door. The reality is far from this pleasant picture, and we need to wake up.

I got the bucket of cold water tossed on me in 2003. I was teaching a weekend class with a forensic scientist and a homicide detective. I learned — to my shock — that in many parts of the country, DNA was not being used to solve most rapes and murders. Yes, you read that right. Even when DNA evidence had been collected and sent to labs, those labs were so overwhelmed and underfunded that it took six months, a year, or even longer to get lab results.

So detectives were spending many hours on investigations without the help a lab could give them, time that might otherwise have been used on a case without physical evidence. Prosecutors spent hours preparing cases, all the while praying the tests would be completed by the trial date. Detectives and prosecutors hoped that at that point, the evidence would not show that for months (or longer), they had the wrong person in custody.

We have made progress, but there are still, as of this writing, hundreds of thousands of backlogged cases in the U.S.

This is a link to the article where GMH calls himself a "sociopath" and a "hunter".
http://www.wsbtv.com/news/15838537/detail.html

"And he caught on as agents tried to chart a timeline of his whereabouts. On the tape, an agent asks where he’s been in the United States and Hilton said, “Oh, I know what you’re getting at…the unsolved murders.”

In one instance, Hilton did show fear when presumably referring to the North Carolina case already in the hands of Federal prosecutors. Hilton appears in the background of a photo the night before the Emerson kidnapping. The yellow jacket with reflective tape appears to match the one in the photos from an ATM where the North Carolina couple’s card was used.
“I'm telling you right now, I'm going to dig my heels in. I don't want federal custody. They're going to send me to super max I know they are,” said Hilton.

Hilton called himself a hunter and a professional. The rapport and trust built by the GBI agents is evident in the tapes.

“I promised you cooperation that night, I gave it to you. The only question I didn't answer was on the advice of my attorney and I would have answered that,” said Hilton.

That question? How many people has he killed?"

Stillwatersc, Apart from his defense counsel, I am afraid that GMH, is the only one alive with the true answer to the question. With the proper negotiating strategy employed by the BAU of the FBI, I am confident that a partial truth will emerge and many of his victims families will receive some semblance of closure.
It is believed among many that GMH's greatest fear is the death penalty. IMO, his greatest fear is Federal 'Super Max.'
Gary Michael Hilton, was/is a hunter and a professional. Analogous to a mountain lion, he honed his skills as the toll of his victims mounted. He was professional in that once his prey was in his grasp, they never lived to testify against him.
May his many, many victims rest in peace...

What about super max do you visualize is his biggest problem? He likes solitary living. He likes living in enclosed spaces. So what's not to like about super max, LOL - just kidding. So what do you think his deal is with super max? Is he jerking the law with that statement or just what is it?

yanceyb, GMH, is very intelligent and is aware of that the probability of dying of natural causes before the death penalty can be carried out in Florida.
GMH, is very calculating and narcissistic He is extremely deflective when he feels that he is being manipulated or denigrated. He has to be in control or superior and feeds off human interaction and attention.
Incarceration in Federal Super Max is far worse than a death sentence in that there is no human contact...

So your thinking is he gets enough human interaction for his narcissistic needs from victims? Why aren't we getting any interviews from past wives and more interviews in depth from the children of Cynthia Nassar and people who may have met him in those relationships I wonder? Did he act the need for control in the movies he supposedly made with Rael? I'm still trying to get a feel for just what he is supposed to be, but I'm not getting it. Especially when I go back and think about the Madison, Fl incident when there are others apparently involved in a possible kidnapping of the woman with the dog. Killers either usually work alone or with others, not switch back and forth. What if it was not Hilton who actually did the abducting of Cheryl? What if it was some drug dealers who just wanted her car and she was a crime of opportunity - and he was just along for the situation? What if she was held the whole time in the motel across the street from the bank the whole time? Who was the dude in his fan in the vehicle stop in Leon County? Weren't they caught coming down from that housing area where a Gary Hilton had lived in 2000 on Campus Circle? If so he has black friends living up in that area.

That 381-E seems a long ways from the entrance to 381-E if you are coming from the SpringHill Rd onto Bloxham Cutoff rd, but it's no time at all back to the main road if you come at 381-E from 344 off of Hwy 20. Maybe whoever put her there thought they had gone a long way into the woods to leave her and actually had not gone any distance at all going the other way, and we have been told he was seen walking along SpringHill Rd. Just how much savy does this brilliant idiot have about the woods. I don't see him have much at all from what I'm seeing. If he didn't want to be found out and caught, he had lots of opportunities to carry out his activities in other ways. Just thinking.

yanceyb, rent the Deadly Run movie, it will enlighten you, as to GMH's thought pattern. Donald Holcomb eyewitnessed GMH's writing studio in the abandoned Anderson house where he assisted the creative writer with the script.
Don't get hung up on MOs or Signatures. His emulation of other Serial Killers is how he was stealth and oblivious to LE for decades. He had sidekicks and associates.
The location of his latest victims were easily located for shock affect.
The decapitation and mutilation of the victims wasn't for forensic purposes.

I don't think I understand the reply on the gross amt of blood in his van reported when it was found after Emerson. Is it because he didn't kill her in any way similar to the way he said on the interview?

I think it's beyond belief that no major media has not gone to at least shoot a wide shot of the woods leading to his most recent campsite accidentally discovered. Unreal. No interviews. No pictures. No pictures of other possible campsite. Yet media know all this you say. What would it hurt to begin showing where this guy traveled? Who is putting the clamps on any reporting? This is a rhetorical question, but I just want to keep putting it on here so we have proof that we have been asking, and getting no answers. The media knows, lord knows enough of us have made calls and written.

yanceyb, he deflects, he lies, and he omits information. He didn't admit to raping Meredith, until the agent advised that forensics would indicate the truth. He didn't reveal the Fannin County Campsite, when interviewed by the GMI concerning his timeline.
GMH, stated that he camped near the trailhead parking lot at Blood Mountain, prior to abducting Meredith Hope Emerson.

So what's your take on where all the blood came from?

There are so many comments I've seen folks make that start from something Hilton has stated in that interview, and it just really bugs me because first and foremost I would think that would be the only place one wouldn't start a theory from. Nothing he says should be a jumping off point to form a theory I'd think, but people do it some. I just wondered what your thought was on where all the blood came from. If he had her at a camp and he killed her at the camp - where did all that blood come from? Unless he's not leaving his victims in any manner that it's being reported he is. Hitting somebody in the head does not cause the amount of blood that was described in the story I read. There's hardly a place to begin from to form an opinion in this whole case because we have been fed such misinformation and disinformation. The balloons LE has floated and misleading stuff that was given out even in the first few days of this case could sink a battleship. I know because some were told to me, and those things were supposedly coming from law enforcement - total fabrications. Why didn't they want the public to know anything? The only reason he was finally stopped was because GA was smart enough to come clean with the public.

tater, huh?

I just can't picture that. How she was tied up and how she got loose don't make sense. She worked her shoulders to fray the rope you said. What did that loosen? What about her hands then? Also you said you were a rapeler and fireman. Do you climb up into a burning building?

I'm glad you are talking about a rope at fires.
