I'm a newby here. I just posted the other night regarding my ordeal adopting my 2 granddaughters. I spent five years in family court watching the case of my granddaughters and lots of others and I believe DCF can ask for an emergency hearing to compel her to tell where the child is or to be held without bond in contemt until she does tell. Just a thought, I hope someone puts an end to this.

A crazy idea just popped into my head. If Cindy still believes that Caylee is alive, could it be possible that she is trying to get custody? Could that be a reason for the meeting with an attorney?

I just was looking around on DCF website and could not find anything specific. Could be mental health related, Baker Act stuff, There wasn't anything clear as to why DCF would be seeing her. They do go to jails becasue I typed in the search box jail visits and a bunch of stuff popped up but nothing that was obvious to me.

Thank you for this information. That's interesting. She should have to tell or be held in contempt.

I saw your post, and knew exactly what you meant.

You can go back and edit your posts for a day or so (maybe longer, I don't remember). Just click the "edit" button on the bottom left and then make your corrections and then click "save." I use this all the time. I'm always adding, correcting, and taking away parts of my posts.

Anything is possible. I'm not sure if Cindy really believes that Caylee is alive, or if she's pretending that she believes Caylee is alive to "help" save her daughter.

And then a guardian ad litem possibly could have been appointed to represent Caylees interests as well. It seems like until they charge anyone with murder DCF should treat this as a child in danger.

Could it be DCF was involved and we'd not have known about it? Or it could be that they've not done anything about this case until now. It's so hard to say. You hear about all these children that fall though the cracks with social services, but you'd think this case would be hard to miss.

I just can't believe you can hand your child off to someone and not say who it is? I really don't know much, if anything, about this sort of thing. Someone needs to step up to the plate for Caylee. It's apparent her mother and her grandmother aren't going to do this for her. I don't know about the grandfather, because I haven't had time to read what's going on with him.

My first thought was that the rumor of Casey being preg is true, therefore DCF is involved. I pray she is not preg and they are there for another reason.
