BEIJING: A man has confessed to killing 19 people in a village in southwestern China after an argument with his parents over money, official media said Friday (Sep 30).

Not a lot of information. The killer, Yang Qingpei, killed 19 people including both of his parents. He was angry over gambling debt. I suspect that is the tipping point.

19 killed in a killing spree is very serious. If that happened in America, it would be huge news. This exceeds UCSB, Columbine, San Bernardino, or UT Clocktower.
