I agree with you that WS is like a family. I started reading here during the Laci case when CTV became too nasty. People here are just nicer.

Biggirl..........same here. I found Websleuths when CTV was just too much to take. People there are just plain mean-tempered. Someone told me about Websleuths and now I rarely even check out CTV anymore.

Edited to add..........I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. I got so busy with details in cleaning, wrapping gifts, and preparing Christmas dinner, I didn't spend much time online for the last week prior to Christmas.

Does anyone know if CTV will continue it's crime board after the new year? There have been so many changes. I hope that isn't dropped as I'd hate to see some of those posters start commenting over here! lol

WS is the nicest forum that I have been involved in. Caring, and good people here. I have seen and heard some nasty, mean hearted people on some forums. Cyper-bullys for sure. Some of the political forums are really BAD.

They will go to Gretawire instead. They want to associate themselves with the talking heads and is the reason they post on those boards, imo.

I was surprised to see a couple of my posts over at Gretawire without, of course, the link back to FSP.com where I made them. Doesn't really bother me. However, it is rather fun to watch them take everything out of context from here and FSP then try to banter about it. They do get it quite mixed up. LOL

I am wondering now why I ever started posting over there. WS truly is the best. People here know what they are doing and don't get off on tangents, imo. The trolls at that site run rampant and thanks to our Mods...we don't have to put up with such nonsense.
