Chloroform in the trunk of caseys car

This solidifies my theory more. She must have used chloroform to make Caylee sleep! I should have been an investigator!
Because I have said all along since day one, the baby was sleeping in the car and suffocated, when Casey was partying.
I was hoping, praying, I was wrong, but now that this came out it fits.

Chloroform is a known carcinogen, and a very hazardous chemical to use as a "sleeping agent", especially on a small child, this action would be criminal at best, although I think it was used to commit murder.

I'm just confused about the swimming pool thing. The landfill thing caught my attention although would she have taken her there herself and then picked her back up? IDK it just caught my attention.

Chloroform is very short acting it could not be used for putting your kid to sleep while you party. It last minutes.

QUESTION - I meant to ask this a long time ago and I might make it a thread. I heard a lot about Casey putting Caylee in the trunk to sleep while she partied... have any of you actually seen this happen?

I've heard of moms leaving children in the CAR too long and them suffocating to death, but the only time I've EVER heard of someone in a trunk was a prank or a very short car ride (where the trunk-rider was a 20something idiot, not a child). Wouldn't a child suffocate due to the carbon dioxide output?? In the trunk just normally??

Had a thought. Just speculation, but if Caylee was being given "something" to keep her quiet and out of the way when Casey didn't want to be disturbed: Perhaps Caylee developed some tolerance to the Benadryl or Xanax after a while. So now what's a hard working mother gonna do? Look for something a little more fast acting?

Someone I know who spent 2 years in prison just told me he heard stories about men sexually abusing children while the child was under the effects of chloroform. I hate to even bring this up but at this point nothing is too crazy or horrible to rule out. It was the first thing he thought of when I mentioned evidence of chloroform being found in the trunk.

Casey didn't use chloroform to put Casey to sleep. She killed her with it. As robotdog so succinctly says it: A KILLING MACHINE. And after she murdered her daughter she behaved like a machine. If it walks like a duck...

I just dont think that she would be thinking Chloroform to kill her daughter! She's smarter than we think in some areas, but I dont think she is smart enough to come up with that.

I have a feeling that these new friends, (as I believe Ryan described them as a new crowd for CAM) all liked to party. A lot of teens-twenty somethings try drugs. Sometimes it gets out of hand. Some HS friends I had were trying whippets (Nitrous Oxide). At first, I think they were amused how it just made them laugh. I did not participate in this, I like beer and wine. Anyhow, it indeed got out of hand, with that and pot. The same boys got caught vandalizing a public building, and later in the year, one of them commited suicide. None of us will ever understand why, even 18 years later!

Obviously it was there for some devious purpose but really... chloroform???? It seems like such a ridiculous way to kill someone. Why would she even need that to kill a child? She could just suffocate her easily - she only weighed 35 pounds!! I feel like it might have been for some other purpose, maybe for knocking her parents out so she could kill them? I could see the need to subdue an adult. But... what was the overall plan? She was really going to try to carry this all out on her own and couldn't come up with a better story than what she has so far? The fake emails and the lying about a job for 2 years were carried out with a lot more care and thought but this is all just extremely sloppy.

The theories about Casey using the chloroform only to put Caylee to sleep but not to kill her....isn't that kinda silly to go thru ALL that trouble (researching online then finding a dealer who will sell it) for that? Why not just use Nyquil?

If it is found that Casey was responsible for the internet searches and the purchase/theft of the chloroform, I'm sure it was to kill someone, not to merely put them to sleep. Also, from what I gather, chloroform does not knock you out for the night like Nyquil. It only works for a few mins at a time. What would be a reason she would need to knock Caylee out for only a few mins at a time instead of the whole night?

Another question to throw out there about the chloroform....could one of her LE boyfriends gotten ahold of it for her?

I personally think it's related to meth and transporting a meth lab......I would give an arm and leg to find out the breadth of those internet searches and what terms specifically were searched.

well one connection might be that she wasn't thinking her computer would be searched. Thus she could have used it to kill her and she could say it had been used to clean the trunk??? I dont' think she's DAT smart though.. more likely it is the CSI episode or another movie

Actually, I take that back - I think it was either a meth lab being transported, OR ..... accidently made when cleaning chemicals were used in the car....but that doesn't explain the internet searches.... *scratches head*
