I knew of this person through a friend. He's like most of the people featured in crime cases: just an average citizen. But in the time frame above, and I will try to get the exact year when I can if I can, he was found dead in his small apartment with several small stab wounds in his chest.
This mutual friend told me that there are such suicides, because suicide was the first news that she heard when she heard about his death. But later, since CB did have lifelong issues, including hospitalizations, drug use, and rehab, he could have brought home the wrong man: CB was gay and was impulsive and sometimes not very selective about his sex partners, according to this friend and others.
He's from Chicago where I believe he has a brother who is still living. His mother and sister live in SoCal last I heard.
He had a lover who I belive is still living in Chicago and might know more about this case. As you can see, I hardly know a thing, and I am not a professional in these areas nor do I plan to write a book or anything like that.
But one of the reasons I came here is to share the little info I know about this and other cases I have come across in my life to see if somone fancies doing a book, podcast, or add it to their YouTube series. Like others here, I do believe in getting the word out.
