Also, Christie is going after this SOB with a vengeance (if you can believe the Enquirer)... GO Christie!

She'll chew him up and spit him out.

he may as well leave the country let alone the state as there's nothing left for him there.

he'll be ridiculed wherever he steps!

and this:

For the third time, Brinkley has turned to divorce diva Eleanor Alter, sources said.

The daughter of a top judge, Alter is best known for making sawdust of Woody Allen during his early '90s custody battle with Mia Farrow.

Alter unhitched Brinkley from second hubby Billy Joel as well as third spouse Richard Taubman.

Sounds like Cook has always had a bit of a problem with poor judgment... seems he tried to sell cocaine to a cop when he was 23.

Meanwhile, The National Enquirer has dug up a cocaine bust deep in the past of Brinkley's straying hubby, Peter Cook.

"Cook was 23 at the time of his arrest on Nov. 10, 1982," reports the tab. "He was busted for attempting to sell cocaine to an undercover cop … at a Long Island highway rest stop." Cook copped only probation after a guilty plea.

A flippin movie already????????????? IT's not that fascinating.

How low can we go? The idea of making a book or movie out of someone's ongoing, at-present, nightmare or misery, truly makes me sick.

Not to mention the children involved. I think a magazine article would suffice.

Hamptons insiders say the family of 19-year-old "other woman" Diana Bianchi is already being targeted by "book, TV and movie offers."

And clearly this family will not be slow to grasp offers!

Famous last words!

Indeed, optimism has always been one of Brinkley's distinctive traits, whether about her causes or her personal life.

"I know how it seems," Brinkley told Redbook magazine in 1997, just after her marriage to Cook. "People think, 'Look at her. She's been married four times. What the hell's wrong with her?' This may be my fourth marriage, and Peter's first. But it's the last for both of us."

Obviously she's contributed alot and is well thought of in the community. She seems to have her head together.

A woman like her doesn't need a boring man hanging around.

He reminds me more of Scott Peterson all the time.

Isn't that the truth, Martha. His facial expressions and body posture even remind me of him sometimes. At least Christie's alive. I saw a headline today called "Peter the Cheater". I thought that had a nice ring to it.

How about, "Little Peter"?

How about, "Peter, Peter, Punkin Eater, had a wife and couldn'tkeepher..."

I'm bad. Better stop here. Lot's of things you can do with the name, "Peter", ya know.

No - that's great! Don't know if you can use in in kindergarten though.

He can just get over it. He did more than have casual sex with this girl, he had a relationship with her. He took from his wife and kids when he got involved emotionally, moreso IMO than if he'd just had sex. That was time, energy, focus, etc. that took from them and given to this child.

Cry me a river. :boohoo:

I think that only Christie knows if the marriage can be saved. It will probably depend on a lot of factors, to include if this is an isolated case or a pattern. If this was an isolated case of adultery, much counseling would be needed to figure out why he committed adultery and why he did it with a teenager.

I personally don't think that it was for the sex. I think it was for the feeling of power and control that he felt. However, I'm not therapist. ;)

I would so doubt Christie would take him back. why would she? for the sake of the children? would it be in their best interests to have this man around?

She might truly love him. Kathy Lee Gifford took her husband back after a widely publicized affair that he had. You just never know.

However, I am kind of with you on this. She most probably will not take him back.
