I think Christie is a lot classier than Peter. What is there to really say? He's making an ass out of himself. She has the children to think about. Something he never seemed to do.

I bet he was cold to her because he was attracted to her but knew she was off limits so he had to keep a distance. I'm guessing a guy like him has difficulties dealing with young women in a nonsexual way. Ugh.

I dont find alexa attractive-maybe he didnt either and she had no value to him..these guys generally have a type..and she falls outside of his I think.

On a differnt topic..I notice her commercials are still running that says she would prefer this time in her life to being 22..and flashes on her and her happy family..do u think they should pull those and run ones that have just her in them for a while?
Just curious as to an opinion..I am not impacted one way or the other..

Alexa Ray Joel is a great singer. She can play the piano. So thank God he didn't bother her. As for her looks, I find her different looking, but she reminds me alot of my niece who is just beautiful to me.

I agree. I saw her play at Maxwell's in Hoboken. I think she is much more attractive in person than in her pictures. Besides, I prefer her type of attractive more than the typical cookie cutter pretty women.

I had the same exact thought when she was little, but I do think she is good looking now. Not the supermodel her mother is, of course, but I think she is quite lovely and exotic. It's probably easier for her to not look like her mother, actually. Otherwise, people would make comparisons all the time, and I'd assume she'd probably fall short. This way, at least she has has her own look (and she certainly wins in a beauty contest with her Dad *lol*).

Not to hijack but another little girl that I thought was unattractive was Athina Onassis, daughter of Christina. She looked like her mother especially her eyes. But I think as she gets older she is prettying up. (LOL is that even a word?)

I agree, Mellen. I remember seeing pix of Alexa when she was about 4-6 mos. old and I all but dropped my teeth. She was almost hideous looking. I think it was the eyes... the Billy Joel eyes. They're definitely not attractive in a baby. And, like you said, how can you ever hope to compare with Christie. You just can't. But I think she's lovely now and will probably get even lovelier as she gets older. And she has talent with her singing, which to me is far better than modeling. I didn't know until this week that she left home when she was 17 (to get away from Cook)... which I found quite sad. It's hard not to think of them as "having it all", but apparently they face the same problems all of us do. But her life must have been terribly unhappy for her to leave at age 17. Cook does not seem to be much of a dream boat!

She also was married to Billy Joel when she was heli-skiing with Ricky Taubman who ended up being her 3rd hubby. He ended up being a scammer. She paid him off 1 million to give up custody of their son Jack. When she married Cook he adopted the child.

But, of course, in a culture in which celebrity is the highest value and there is little distinction between fame and infamy, you’d better enjoy your limelight moment, even if it’s a tawdry tabloid one. You want a book deal? Step right up. No question, celebrity trumps everything, certainly sisterhood.

I just saw that myself. And he was peddling cocaine at a rest stop frequented by gay quickie seekers. This guy just doesn't seem to have the "image" flaunted about him these years.

I wonder if he really IS an architect????
