I hope the judge does order him for parent classes and counseling. The first parenting class can be on camping with young children. The counselor can have a psychiatric evaluation done.

I was so hoping the boys would be with Chuck and Judy tonight. At least things are moving forward a tiny bit quicker - we thought the hearing wouldn't be until tomorrow.

I hope Chuck and Judy are getting to visit with the boys. The boys really need it right now.

There is a 72 hour deadline, after they take the kids before there has to be a hearing.

But we already hit that unless they only count business days?

It appears state has technically moved custody to Coxes so judge had jurisdiction. Don't think they have physical custody.

Sorry if this is OT, but does Josh have a job? If not, how will he be able to move, or even stay in the family abode, without an income? I would think that a "superior" father should at least be able to provide for his family.
Please let the judge see what has happened here and give custody to the Cox family.

So it looks like the state gave legal custody to the Coxes, so the judge, per his jurisdiction could make the decision on physical custody, and tomorrow, the judge will decide on whether physical custody will remain with the state, go to Josh, or go to the Coxes.

Does that sound close?

Okay so they do have temp custody but the Judge will determine custody tomorrow. whew the posts were flying!

Oh and Josh being looked at for the etc...there were articles saying Josh and Steve would both be at the park together taking pictures, right?

So that would put tonight around 10pm as the 72 hour deadline, would it not? So she is already going to be past the 72 hour deadline by waiting till morning?
