How could he not have known his father is a pervert? FGS, that's why they moved to Utah.

And living in that small house, not even working so you could say daddy only stalked the little girls when Josh was at work.

Most judges don't care for "superior" attitudes in custody issues. They like the "I know I'm not the best parent, but I do this and this and this and sacrifice for my kids".

What list can Josh contribute to attest to his parenting skills? Seriously, can anyone think of any real parenting skills that Josh could honestly give the judge?

Maybe he will be arrested tonight! *Crosses fingers*

I bet he is SUPER paranoid now!!

No one buys 15 computers unless there is income expected from owning them. IMO.

In this case I think the apples do not fall far from the tree except the daughter that went with mother.

Especially since Josh didn't work.

Maybe he feels that by getting rid of Susan he did the ultimate sacrifice and risked everything, even gambled his life in order to keep his children. Not something he'd be prepared to say to a judge but he might have convinced himself that this is all for the good of the boys (because Susan would have taken them and they'd have had an unstable life etc.)

That's probably in the wrong thread here.

Thank you for catching this. I started a new search thread since the other search officially ended.

It is my understanding state has transferred custody of Powell children on paper to the Coxes so Family Court judge has case jurisdiction.

For some reason, Josh doesn't look too happy...

A state prosecutor says the husband of Susan Powell is the subject of a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 and voyeurism investigation.

No, he doesn't look good at all. Bet he isn't eating. Bet he isn't sleeping. Bet he wishes his father never opened his big yap.

Somehow I have a really hard time seeing the court award legal custody to the Coxes, and physical custody to Josh. Just don't see that happening. Don't think that would be good for the boys at all. I suspect and hope the legal and physical custody will go to the Coxes tomorrow.

I don't understand the judge giving the Coxes temporary (paper) custody because of the jurisdiction for the judge??? Doesn't Josh and the Coxes live in the same jurisdiction or it is because of protective services are in a differenct jurisdiction? Confused..........

That photo of JP, even if it's after SP being arrested...he looks pretty rough. He's going to snap, and snap soon. I pray the judge will give the Coxes physical custody of the boys, I really have fear in my heart if JP gets them.

No ruling until tomorrow now.

Yeah, I should have read the whole thread. Tomorrow is still fast. I don't blame the judge a bit. I'm sure it was a zoo. One needs time to reflect, review, speak with the law clerks, perhaps consult some of the statutes. Think about what was said during the hearing. Etc. This is a high-profile case, stakes are high. Care must be taken. She's looking at taking two young children away from their father, when the father has not been proven to have done anything wrong. That's a tough call, regardless of whether the father is an obvious piece of **** (which he is).

Plus...now little Joshy boy will have to sweat through the night. Not only is he about to lose his kids...but (worse) he just heard a state attorney say, in open court, that he is part of the kiddy 🤬🤬🤬🤬 investigation. How's that make ya feel, Joshy? Go look in the mirror. What do you see?

"I did not harm her, I did not have anything to do with her disappearance," Josh said at Tuesday's court hearing. "I love my wife. I have looked for her in my own private way."

In my own private way? Say what? Putting up that website and letting your dad do interviews that makes sure if she's alive she'll never want to come back again was searching for her? Moving 16 hours away from where she disappeared was searching for her in Josh's own private way?
