Cindy mouths, "I love you" to Casey

  • #21

I couldn't see what cindy was mouthing but KC's reaction tells me that she said something. I see KC's reaction a little differently, it looks to me like a half smile and sort of shock that her mother said that, personally I think she was happy. I can't fault cindy for loving KC, she is afterall her mother and I imagine it is very hard for cindy to sort out her feelings. I think that cindy saw KC's meltdown over her not looking at her and it broke her heart and she wanted to let her daughter know that she loves her. I don't think that it's reasonalbe to expect cindy to stop loving her daughter, even though the whole world hates her. JMO

No, but it's not suprising if she still feels love for her child. I'm going to have to see the video to prove it though.
Cindy may have said to Casey "I love you, but the unspoken words say, I love you but I no longer support you. I can love you from a distance without the pain.Prayers to G&C.

I think even if she KNEW that as fact, she would still love her daughter.
It's a natural thing.

Killing your daughter and throwing her in the woods is not natural.

Loving your daughter til you die no matter WHAT is.
Perfect post and so very very true. Thanks

I'm so glad you said that. That's how I saw it too. Cindy knows that she'll never again see Casey outside of prison walls. She has accepted that Casey is responsible for Caylee's death and she is aware that her testimony, along with George's, has helped close the cell door on Casey. It was sad, but necessary. Cindy still loves her daughter, but she's done with her. Casey gave her no choice.

I really want to believe that

I wouldn't want to be in CA's shoes and I think any mom would have a hard time doing what she has to do. NO ONE knows what that must be like, I think people in general are too hard on her......she's a mom. Regardless.....I know my mom couldn't un-love me for ANY reason.

Casey's response:

then "spiteful *****"

Cindy had to have seen Casey explode when she got off the stand before, I'm sure Jose got in Cindy's ear about it.

I take KC's reaction to be a "too bad" type thing (the mouth movement especially)-- I wish we could see Cindy's expression more clearly because I get the feeling that's exactly what was on her face too. mo

eta: I think it may be a form of chagrin, noun: Distress of mind caused by a failure of aims or plans, want of appreciation, mistakes etc; vexation or mortification. http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/chagrin

Yep. Same. My mom wouldn't have lied for me and she would have gone up on the stand to tell the truth if she had to but no matter what she'd always love me. Just as I'll always love my children.

Maybe most of the time it's true, but BELIEVE ME I have seen and know of mothers who un-love their kids.

I don't see her say anything. Nor did I see where KC did or did not react to something.

I found it repulsive.

You sure? I could have sworn she was mouthing "olive juice".

I disagree.

If you look realllly, realllly closely you will see that Cindy is saying, "Elephant shoes".

No thanks necessary, folks. However, free drinks can be sent to me at...... lol

This is driving me insane... and IMO its one of the things that we nit pick so much because of the 3 years of insanity that we've had to endure. But truly, I think its being read too much into.

Of course Cindy loves her daughter! Is that surprising to anyone? Yes, her daughter did something horrible... I think CA has come to that conclusion. But that don't mean she don't love her. You don't stop loving your child no matter what... Just because she tells ICA that she loves her means nothing to the case. It shouldn't make anyone "sick"... Its natural to love your child UNCONDITIONALLY.

I just don't get what the big deal is.
