Cindy Over the Edge? Where are the A's?

Turbo, I respect your opinions, but I truly hope you are wrong on this! The only thing to me worse than her death, is her grandparents utilizing her death in this manner!

I can tell you, I hope I am wrong too, but I don't think I am. I believe we will see them selling "her" to anyone who will buy.

I think that JB is keeping them as far apart as possible.

I have no doubt JB wants them kept apart but I think it is GA and CA's attorney who has convinced them to start covering their own butts. IMO he was very wise to ask for immunity for the two of them. However, immunity won't be granted (if it is) as a one way street thing. GA and CA will have to "roll over" on KC in order to get that immunity. They will have to testify to certain things that work against KC and they will have to admit to anything they might have done to "cover" for KC during the investigation possibly on the stand. The state doesn't just grant immunity without getting *something* in return.

I doubt they want to roll over on KC or are happy about doing it, but the prospect of facing charges themselves is equally distasteful to them.

My opinion is this (based on raising my own daughter), the parents knew very well who KC really was and what she was really capable of doing when she went on a tantrum or wanted to get even or was thwarted from doing what she wanted to do. If people don't let their hair down with those closest to them...their own family...in the privacy of their own home behind closed doors, then they are saints. KC is no saint. GA and CA always knew she was a potential threat to Caylee. Not murder probably but neglect, maybe abandonment, probably emotional abuse and possibly even physical abuse.

From that I think GA and CA knew early on that Caylee's fate was probably a dreadful one and I believe they knew long ago that she was dead and was never coming back. They had the painful choice to let their daughter fend for herself in the media and legal system but they chose the opposite route and decided to try to divert searches, conceal evidence (hairbrush and pants and car as examples). That's when they lost my respect. I never expected them to stop loving their daughter but I thought they should have expected her to be held responsible. Did they really think they could get her a "Get Out of Jail Free" card and she could just go on walking the streets as though nothing had ever happened???

They also dropped the ball with Caylee in that they knew what KC was capable of and how responsible she was NOT. They didn't do anything to murder Caylee but it was the things they DIDN'T do that allowed KC to go ahead and do what she did to Caylee -- like demanding KC get a full time job and failing that and other responsibilities, they should have gone for custody of Caylee long ago and kicked KC out of the house. GA and CA will have to live with those things they didn't do for a long, long time.

Finally, I raised my daughter and while I'm not responsible for all the things she does as an adult...both GOOD and BAD things, I accept that I had a great input into the person she became as an adult. It is no different for any parent including the Anthony's. They raised KC and part of her personality and all it's imperfections has *some* bearing on the way she was raised. JMO.

How were George and Cindy supposed to protect Caylee? Casey was her mother, Casey is not a minor. Do you know what it takes to prove someone an unfit mother in a court of law? It's not as easy as most would like to believe. Casey's lying would not make her an 'unfit mother' in a court of law...even her partying and going out a lot...does not make her an 'unfit' mother. Chances are, if George and Cindy try to retain legal custody of Caylee, it would have cost them a lot of money only to likely lose the case. George and Cindy could do nothing but let Casey and Caylee stay with them so they could keep an eye on Caylee. I believe they put up with Casey's crap to protect Caylee. Also, I highly doubt G&A will be brought up on any charges. I don't believe they did anything intentionally to protect Casey or disrespect Caylee. They couldn't hold Casey responsible for Caylee's death until Caylee's body was found. Prior to Caylee's remains being found, I believe they were acting our of pure desperation and they didn't care how the public perceived them. Regardless of what LE said, what the prelim forensics said, or anyone else said, they were not going to believe Caylee was dead until a body was found. I don't blame them for that....in fact...I completely understand it. So, as long as they believed Caylee might be alive...they couldn't blame their daughter for her murder. Even if they felt Casey was involved, there is no way they would've admitted that prior to Caylee's remains being found. And even now that Caylee has been found, I doubt they will say anything publically against Casey....she is still their child. I love my child UNCONDITIONALLY. If my child had done something this horrible, I would let him take the punishment, but I don't know that I could help in his punishment. Can you imagine what it would be like to have to testify against your own child? To say something that might put the nail in your child's coffin? This Anythony's coudn't win no matter what they said or did....not then...and not now. They are not only grieving the loss of their granddaughter, but also their own daughter. George said, if my granddaughter is dead, I've lost my daughter. My heart breaks for them. I don't understand why so many have so much anger and hatred against them.

Fantastic post. Fantastic!!

Ok. I would float in the river before I testified against my son in a way that would put a nail in his coffin. Period. He IS my child.

George also said that if they find Caylee dead - it will kill my wife, I mean it will kill my wife.

Honor? Where does one truly find it when the waves are knocking you down. just sayin

I so totally agree. I find it odd that they haven't been seen at all, grieving or not, their actions towards everyone looking for Caylee were despicable. I also find it odd that they haven't been to see KC, all they would have to say is, we love you, we miss you, stare at each other for a bit. And leave. Now how could that hurt the case, one way or the other. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes, but they were downright nasty to people.

And that LKL interview is what made Caylee guide them to her, I'm certain. The flat out lies on that were disgusting, beyond belief. Caylee had enough and led them to her. No one has stood up for Caylee, except thousands of strangers and the State's Attorneys and police. For that I would say to George and Cindy...what say you now?? Where is your support for that little girl as so often George calls her

I agree with you, SailorMoon. I was stunned! Their lies were so obvious, it was a sickening display. I really couldn't believe what I was seeing or hearing on that show!
How fitting that the very next morning, the news of Caylee's remains being found! I feel it was nothing less than a miracle. And I honestly felt as though God were trying to get a message across on behalf of little Caylee.

i remember someone stating on websleuths that people are not hateful here. i could have quoted a lot of people to disprove that, but here's the latest example. jesus christ. "they enjoyed dinner..."? wow. heartless at best.

I believe her point was they had JUST been told their granddaughter's body was within feet from their house (where they never bothered to look themselves) and they go out to an upscale restaurant. She had been thrown away like garbage off the side of the road.

To me, that said they had KNOWN for a long time Caylee was dead.

I don't know anyone who just having been given that type of horrible, gruesome type news could go out to eat. Most people would be in their bed, crying their eyes out over that baby.

I have never known anyone when there is a death of a family member can eat at all. What I have seen is friends trying to get them to eat to keep their strength up for the days ahead.

As for Jeffery Damner - yes, he is evil, but he is a stronger evil than the Anthonys. They are a covert evil where he is an upfront evil.

Jeffrey Dahmer *was* evil. He is dead now and cannot hurt anyone else. However, he did one thing neither KC nor GA, CA, and LA have done. Dahmer when caught admitted he did it. As has his father. Dahmer did not fight the charges. He plead guilty. He didn't lie about it. He didn't try to pin the blame on someone else. He also cooperated with the authorities investigating his crimes.

A person who admits their evil is IMO not as bad as people who deny their evil and attempt to put the blame on innocent or imaginary people like KC and family have done with ZG. And, no I do not for a minute believe that GA and CA ever thought there was a real nanny.

I am sure the Anthony apologists would say they should get the money. No surprise there.

As for them living off "missing children"..........those people in my opinion don't need to be ANYWHERE around any children. They are unstable IMO and this did not just happen with Caylee's death. If you look back through the things we know now, it is an obvious pattern of violence and addiction.

As for Jeffery Damner - yes, he is evil, but he is a stronger evil than the Anthonys. They are a covert evil where he is an upfront evil.

There is a book you really need to read if you want to see a profile of the Anthonys. It is "People of the Lie" written by M. Scott Peck. You will see them profiled in there as will you see how their evil affected Casey and how predictable the end result was.

Thanks for the response Turbo!! Your a good sport always. SS is too.

I suspect you are right about them not working around missing children. I suspect many would not want them.... until or if maybe they rehab their reputations. Yes on the Anthony apologists (LOL) but I have not been able to be overly harsh on them yet. I still feel sorry for them inspite of themselves. :(

I'll take you up on reading that book. Think I will hustle out and grab a copy tomorrow.

I haven't been able yet to slam the Anthony's. Why? Just can't get past the misery they have to feel and the fact as I have said -- I would float in the river before I testified against my son in a harmful way. I just would -- so yes, I understand the reluctance they have to feel. I DO NOT think they should earn money from Caylee .... but I think they will.

I may be sounding like a wimp here, but I'm not. This is my first experience of not believing everything the prosecutors say and I'm a bit frazzled. LOL! I haven't liked this case from the beginning and I'm still trying to figure out why.

Incoming and outgoing mail in jails and prisons is read by the authorities. I know this because I had a friend who was in prison for abusing her baby girl. It is stamped right on the outside of the envelope that the mail is being monitored.

Yes, but on the jail visits I think Lee said that they could send letters through the lawyers and they wouldnt be read.

Exactly. Your grandbaby's body has just been found trashed in the woods, her little skull rolls out onto the ground covered with duck tape and you naturally think: "Hey, what's for dinner!"

Your comments reflect my thoughts. I don't understand where the blame and anger comes from either. It cannot be healthy.....

I also believe George and Cindy had no option but to support Casey's belief that Caylee was still alive - regardless what their heads may have told them - in the hope that Casey would tell the truth. I think they honestly believed their unqualified support was the best shot at compelling Casey to confess. Tell the truth, we still love you. They've said that over and over. Sad.

Yes I do and I can tell you it isn't easy but in order for your child to become responsible and accept the consequences for their actions, it is necessary. I always told my kids, you do the crime, you do the time. When that time did come I let them do it. I told my child I loved them but they needed to accept society's rules for their actions.

My child did not commit murder but a crime against society and was charged and admitted guilt and did time in jail for it as well as restitution.

Been there as well and totally agree with everything you have said.

It is most definately not easy and even though it broke my heart I could never, ever cover up for my son or for anyone else for that matter. He was solely responsible for his actions and what he did was wrong and he spent many years in prison, as he should have.

I don't think they owe us anything. It's really between them, their daughter, and LE. Also, I believe that one day every person will meet their Maker. My pastor gave a memorable sermon entitled "God is Not Mocked". When bad things happen, that I cannot reconcile in my limited mind, I find comfort in that thought. Holds me in check too, although, I do not have criminal tendancies. Furthermore, no one makes us follow this case day in day out.

After everything we have witnessed, I feel for Cindy. BP, Axis whatever, I cannot imagine this scenario in my life. Lesser circumstances would put me over the edge I'm sure. She was/is a ring leader gone wrong but appears to be a hard worker and, it seems, only wanted good things for "her girls". It reminds me of the tiger trainer in Vegas who, after he was almost killed by the tiger, pleaded to spare the tiger's life. He loves his tiger.

This is not a story with a happy ending that's for sure.

Very insightful and I agree 100%

Good points. I do not use the word evil. I don't think I have met evil - so glad. People can be as mean as junk yard dogs and I have met a few of those. I do believe in evil, but I find it to be more out there as something else. I will try to think of an example..... OK! John Wayne Gacey was evil imo. Anytime a child (or anyone) is cut up, dissected, tortured, raped to the point of death, twisted sick 🤬🤬🤬 bastards....or wimmin .... then I think that is evil. I think the dark side of religion is also evil.

BRAVO!!!! Best post I've seen on this forum to date.:clap::clap::clap:

I 100% completely agree. I too have unconditional love for my child, no matter what, even if I couldnt forgive, I would always love him!:clap::clap:

Bloggers haven't exactly been nice as pie to them nor have the protesters. Would you sit back and take it if you were in their position? People can only be pushed so far before they react. The person responsible for spinning heads 360 degrees is Casey, not her parents.

bolded by me.........

They raised Casey and they KNEW she was NOT RIGHT in her mind, but they did NOTHING to stop her. That end was almost inevitable for the lifestyle they "taught".............there was addiction, violence, and deep hatred in that family and NO ONE did a thing to change it until it was way too late. Their denial kept all the family secrets hidden.

When Caylee was born, Cindy wanted to be her mother, but KC resented it and the battle began. Cindy used Caylee and KC used Caylee to get to each other and the battle ended with Caylee dead. George was a joke in the family, and where there is no respect for the father, there are messed up kids.

They were NOT PUSHED - they LOVE chaos - they lived it. Normal people would have stayed in their home, left in their cars from their garage and never inflamed people who did not agree with them. Normal people would NOT have lied and hid evidence for their murdering daughter KNOWING their granddaughter was her victim. They KNEW the minute they smelled that car what KC had done.

What proof do we have that they covered a murder? Maybe I missed something. The only thing I can think of is the pants, but we have no proof she washed them because she was hiding something.

Cindy gave a very good interview in which she explained the pants. I believe everything she stated in this interview. Many have not seen it before. It's worth a watch. http://www.wftv.com/video/18149829/index.html

(PS. Yes..I believe she was in total denial.) I, however, like many of you are wondering in what state she is in now? Does she still believe someone else did this to Caylee or has she accepted the truth?

In reference to their bills. Wouldn't their creditors give them a hardship pass for a while? Still charging them interest, but no need to make payments?

Exactly. Your grandbaby's body has just been found trashed in the woods, her little skull rolls out onto the ground covered with duck tape and you naturally think: "Hey, what's for dinner!"

That is such a distortion of what actually happened.

but isn't it illegal for baez to pass letters?

I don't know if it is illegal but it is unethical. I think he could lose his license if caught, but both him and KC think they are above the law.

He made such a big deal about being able to take his computer in with her, it makes me think she used it to type things to outsiders. (like email and when he had wi-fi it sent) Then he could say he didn't see them. I am sure they have created a "script" if caught.
