If I were in ZG's position, I too would not be happy about being negatively associated by circumstance with a high profile case, but if my main concern was to get on with my life and provide the best that I could for my children, I'm sure I would do everything I could to avoid prolonging my exposure to the media and the malicious gossip.

ZG has already appeared on TV, and by bringing this suit against KC has ensured that she (and her children) remain even more firmly in the public's mind than they were ever likely to before. If she gets persuaded by JM to go after CA as well, that'll mean even more months of exposure for herself and her family, and for what? Defamation is not an easy tort to prove and the level of damages awarded is often pretty low. Even if she does win her case and gets a few thousand dollars, it's not going to achieve the alleged goal of her suit - to clear her reputation. Everyone with even one iota of common sense already knows she is not the 'nanny' who 'kidnapped' Caylee, and the ignorant gossipers will carry on regardless.

I know that I tend to have a "rose-colored glasses" view of the world, and it is for this reason that I wish to study the field of law. During criminal trials in the UK, both sides can become very 'theatrical', with shouts of 'objection' from the opposing side being sometimes almost a continual occurrence, but in civil claims, witness testimony is given usually by way of written statements, or affidavits taken in a solicitor's office, and yes, the solicitor is required to conduct the procedure with courtesy, civility and professionalism, irrespective of the type of witness involved. If the witness was likely to be hostile, the testimony would be taken before a judge.

However, thanks to the invention of the humble TV, I'm fully prepared for the impending assault upon my delicate senses that a televised US criminal trial may render.:crazy::blowkiss:

Look at it this way, CA threatens to file "harassment charges," against anyone who tries to put a mic on her... (as if that would cause her harm) And people think she should be given a break and not be dragged into the this suit about all the damage ZG has suffered??? She has vastly contributed to ZG's problems, and CA would sue at the drop of a hat, she just stated as much. I think it too bad that ZG didn't sue CA too, because IMO, she is a contributing party.

GA has stated (both in an official interview as well as in the Greta interview) that KC told him on June 16th, as she and Caylee left the house for the last time, that KC stated she was "going to be working late", and therefore they were going to be spending the night with Zanie, and would not be back until the next day. But when KC gave two interviews to OCSO on the 16th of July she stated she left Universal at 5:00 pm to go pick Caylee up. She specifically mentions (in both interviews) she called Zani that morning prior to dropping Caylee off in the afternoon, and she specifically mentions (in both interviews) that she tried to call Zani when she got to the apartment and no one was there. But she never mentions that she called Zani prior to leaving Universal to tell her she was coming to pick Caylee up early. Because 5 p.m. is not working late. Why did CA go on Greta on 07/21 and state that KC had left Caylee with Zani for just "4 hours" when KC had told GA she was working late?

2. Why did CA put in her written statement given to OCSO on July 15th that KC had told her Caylee was always with her over the past month, but then told FBI and OCSO that Caylee was mainly with Zani, Jennifer, etc?

3. Why did CA put in her written statement given to OCSO on July 15th that KC had told her she was in Jacksonville for the past "2-1/2 weeks" when CA states in interviews that KC told her on the weekend of June 27th Jennifer R. was watching Caylee while she worked???

4. Why did CA and GA come out on media interviews and state the Fusian hot-body pictures were from back before Casey was pregnant when they obviously had found her photobucket and/or myspace and/or facebook account and had seen the pictures in the middle of the "missing period". They called Fusian Ultra Lounge twice on the evening of July 3rd, so they knew damned well she was going there (and that had to be because they found either pictures and/or texting stating so).

5. Why did CA state she didn't pay Caylee's medical bills when she clearly stated she did in the July 3rd myspace writing?

6. Why has CA acted as if she didn't know KC didn't have a job, when she clearly states in her July 3rd myspace that KC "has no money"?

7. Why has CA acted as if KC never stole major amounts of money when she clearly states in her July 3rd myspace that KC has stolen "lots of money"?

8. Why has CA gone on the media and repeatedly stated there is no motive for KC doing something to Caylee when she is the only one that has provided one so far in her July 3rd myspace writing when she references that everything that is happening is because of KC's jealousy?

9. Why, in the month of lamenting the loss of time with Caylee, didn't either CA or GA go to the last "address" they had for Zani and try to find Caylee?

10. Why did CA wash the pants when she has admitted they "smelled like the car" and the car "smelled like a dead body" had been in it?

11. Why would GA EVER think he could go on any national show and try to pass the pizza story when it had already been officially established that there was no pizza in the car and his 7/24 conversation with OCSO had already been released?

12. Why hasn't anyone ask the Anthony family how KC can say "31 days" (repetitively!) on the 16th of July and you back that out to the 9th of June...and still call it "one month"? And why did CA tell KC in the background of the first 911 call "I've already given you a month" if the last time she saw Caylee was actually the 9th?

13. Why does Lee state that KC stated that she hadn't seen Caylee in 31 days in a manner that he felt was intended to be heard by some one outside the room, but CA says KC whispered it? Why does Lee state that CA then walked in and asked "what have you done?" but CA claims she said something totally different?

14. Why does CA ask in her July 3rd myspace writing who is taking care of Caylee when she later tells the FBI and OCSO exactly who was (as per all her daily communiques with KC)?

15. Why hasn't anyone ask CA or Lee about why Lee got motivated to go the Dragon room to find KC?

16. Why didn't CA and GA tell OCSO about the exact date of the ladder in the pool, and why didn't they tell OCSO about the pool supply box being moved next to the pool?

17. Why would KC only call two people who have (allegedly) moved completely out of the Orlando area to share that Caylee is missing? What good would that do her?

18. Why did CA and GA not tell OCSO or the FBI about the fight CA and KC had on the 15th/16th?

19. Why, in the 07/21 interview, when Greta asked CA about what KC had told her happened Caylee, did CA respond with a threat to pass out on air and refuse to answer the question?

20. Why in the six months of Caylee being missing and not found did CA and/or KC completely rearrange KC's room?

21. Why in the multiple days KC was in the home under confinement did CA, GA or LA not get more information out of her?

26. Why did GA, when he lost his cool in his front yard and started throwing the guy's umbrella chair off his property, did he say "the person in the trunk of my daughter's car was not my granddaughter" when he had decided it was pizza that was never there? And who was it, if it wasn't Caylee?

27. Who called KC when Lee was on the way to the Dragon Room and told her he was coming?

28. And what the heck happened on the 19th of June? Because twice in KC's interview with OCSO at Universal on July 16th she states the last time she talked to Zani was on the 12th of June, and that's when she was saying the 9th was when she left Caylee with Zani. So moving forward one week, what the heck happened on the 19th?

29. Why didn't CA tell ANYBODY one of Caylee's Winnie the Pooh blankets was missing until AFTER the body was found and they showed up with a search warrant?

Near the end of the depo, JM pressures CA to admit that she was the vehicle through which KC's alleged slander was published, but then he goes further by trying to get CA to admit that she also slandered ZG herself, even though ZG has made no such allegation and has not sued CA. That is what I meant by a confession.

The person that was unprofessional, CLEARLY, was Brad. He did not inform them about the rules of a civil deposition. I liked him prior to this, but I think he really, truly failed them. He let them believe the questions would be narrowly tailored to did you/KC mean this gal here, yes or no. He knows better. He is an experienced lawyer, HE KNOWS THEY WERE GOING TO GO INTO GREAT DETAIL TRYING TO PROVE SOMEONE OTHER THAN HIS CLIENT COULD HAVE AND DID DO THIS, EVERY DETAIL WAS OPEN TO BE DISCUSSED, THEY HAD THE RIGHT TO AND THEY WOULD AND THE ANTHONY'S SHOULD HAVE BEEN EXPECTING THIS. Even Lee understood these wide, wide parameters and answered all the questions accordingly. At first I thought maybe he did try to tell them what to expect, but they just wouldn't listen, until I kept seeing Cindy look at him like do something Brad! Then he said, listen this has gone way far afield of a civil deposition, and he asserted imagined privileges that are based in no law whatsoever, and are not applicable here. I think it is nothing short of amazing and commendable how polite the other lawyers were to him, considering they know he knows better and they were utterly astonished that these clients had such a poor understanding of the proceeding. This pains me to say, because I think he is a good guy, but wow he really missed his mark on being a professional lawyer here and advising his clients. Under no circumstance would any of the behavior of either G or C be allowed by any judge. They are going to be in for a rude awakening at the trial. I have been in many depositions and it is not common for the lawyer with the person being deposed to inject himself, except for a very rarely, and even then they normally just say something very brief,such as I object to the form of the question, but never ever have I heard one chastise the lawyer doing the questioning. That was unprofessional too. Again, I like Brad, but this was very disappointing.

I don't really know where else to ask these questions so I'll just barf them out here.

Some of these questions may make no difference in a murder trial, but I just wish some one, a civil case lawyer, a criminal prosecutor, anyone would ask. Because they are discrepancies from the Anthony's that beg to be addressed.

1. GA has stated (both in an official interview as well as in the Greta interview) that KC told him on June 16th, as she and Caylee left the house for the last time, that KC stated she was "going to be working late", and therefore they were going to be spending the night with Zanie, and would not be back until the next day. But when KC gave two interviews to OCSO on the 16th of July she stated she left Universal at 5:00 pm to go pick Caylee up. She specifically mentions (in both interviews) she called Zani that morning prior to dropping Caylee off in the afternoon, and she specifically mentions (in both interviews) that she tried to call Zani when she got to the apartment and no one was there. But she never mentions that she called Zani prior to leaving Universal to tell her she was coming to pick Caylee up early. Because 5 p.m. is not working late. Why did CA go on Greta on 07/21 and state that KC had left Caylee with Zani for just "4 hours" when KC had told GA she was working late?

2. Why did CA put in her written statement given to OCSO on July 15th that KC had told her Caylee was always with her over the past month, but then told FBI and OCSO that Caylee was mainly with Zani, Jennifer, etc?

3. Why did CA put in her written statement given to OCSO on July 15th that KC had told her she was in Jacksonville for the past "2-1/2 weeks" when CA states in interviews that KC told her on the weekend of June 27th Jennifer R. was watching Caylee while she worked???

4. Why did CA and GA come out on media interviews and state the Fusian hot-body pictures were from back before Casey was pregnant when they obviously had found her photobucket and/or myspace and/or facebook account and had seen the pictures in the middle of the "missing period". They called Fusian Ultra Lounge twice on the evening of July 3rd, so they knew damned well she was going there (and that had to be because they found either pictures and/or texting stating so).

5. Why did CA state she didn't pay Caylee's medical bills when she clearly stated she did in the July 3rd myspace writing?

6. Why has CA acted as if she didn't know KC didn't have a job, when she clearly states in her July 3rd myspace that KC "has no money"?

7. Why has CA acted as if KC never stole major amounts of money when she clearly states in her July 3rd myspace that KC has stolen "lots of money"?

8. Why has CA gone on the media and repeatedly stated there is no motive for KC doing something to Caylee when she is the only one that has provided one so far in her July 3rd myspace writing when she references that everything that is happening is because of KC's jealousy?

9. Why, in the month of lamenting the loss of time with Caylee, didn't either CA or GA go to the last "address" they had for Zani and try to find Caylee?

10. Why did CA wash the pants when she has admitted they "smelled like the car" and the car "smelled like a dead body" had been in it?

11. Why would GA EVER think he could go on any national show and try to pass the pizza story when it had already been officially established that there was no pizza in the car and his 7/24 conversation with OCSO had already been released?

12. Why hasn't anyone ask the Anthony family how KC can say "31 days" (repetitively!) on the 16th of July and you back that out to the 9th of June...and still call it "one month"? And why did CA tell KC in the background of the first 911 call "I've already given you a month" if the last time she saw Caylee was actually the 9th?

13. Why does Lee state that KC stated that she hadn't seen Caylee in 31 days in a manner that he felt was intended to be heard by some one outside the room, but CA says KC whispered it? Why does Lee state that CA then walked in and asked "what have you done?" but CA claims she said something totally different?

14. Why does CA ask in her July 3rd myspace writing who is taking care of Caylee when she later tells the FBI and OCSO exactly who was (as per all her daily communiques with KC)?

15. Why hasn't anyone ask CA or Lee about why Lee got motivated to go the Dragon room to find KC?

16. Why didn't CA and GA tell OCSO about the exact date of the ladder in the pool, and why didn't they tell OCSO about the pool supply box being moved next to the pool?

17. Why would KC only call two people who have (allegedly) moved completely out of the Orlando area to share that Caylee is missing? What good would that do her?

18. Why did CA and GA not tell OCSO or the FBI about the fight CA and KC had on the 15th/16th?

19. Why, in the 07/21 interview, when Greta asked CA about what KC had told her happened Caylee, did CA respond with a threat to pass out on air and refuse to answer the question?

20. Why in the six months of Caylee being missing and not found did CA and/or KC completely rearrange KC's room?

21. Why in the multiple days KC was in the home under confinement did CA, GA or LA not get more information out of her?

22. Why has CA told one set of people it was she and CAYLEE who went swimming on the evening of June 15th, but another set of people it she and CASEY who went swimming on that evening?

23. Why did it take 2+ hours for Lee to get back to the Anthony home with KC's laptop?

24. Why does everybody in the Anthony family have a different description of Zani when none of them (except KC in her mind) has seen her and they are all going off KC's description?

25. If KC was in the Tampa hospital with Zani after the imaginary car accident, and CA thought Caylee needed to be at home, why didn't she just go straight to the hospital to see KC and talk to her about it?

26. Why did GA, when he lost his cool in his front yard and started throwing the guy's umbrella chair off his property, did he say "the person in the trunk of my daughter's car was not my granddaughter" when he had decided it was pizza that was never there? And who was it, if it wasn't Caylee?

27. Who called KC when Lee was on the way to the Dragon Room and told her he was coming?

28. And what the heck happened on the 19th of June? Because twice in KC's interview with OCSO at Universal on July 16th she states the last time she talked to Zani was on the 12th of June, and that's when she was saying the 9th was when she left Caylee with Zani. So moving forward one week, what the heck happened on the 19th?

29. Why didn't CA tell ANYBODY one of Caylee's Winnie the Pooh blankets was missing until AFTER the body was found and they showed up with a search warrant?

There's so many more questions I have that have not been asked of the Anthony's. I'm hoping all of them will be asked in the murder trial.

WOW...great post. The only one I think I can answer is that I believe CA did say early on in a TV interview words to the effect of, "Nothing of Caylee's was missing except for one blanket." Obviously no one understood the significance of that comment until much later.

I can answer this one! I don't know if she told another set of people that she and Casey went stimming the night of June 15. I remember her saying she and Caylee went swimming, and KC was about to jump in but everyone decided it was getting late and they all got out of the pool.

There is absolutely nothing wrong or unethical about the ZG lawyers exploring facts that might subject CA to liability for defamation, along with her daughter. The facts about CA's actions and statements are what they are. Her overt hatred for ZG and her attack on her at the end would persuade any jury that she acted with ill will and actual malice in defaming her, if she were found to have done so.
