Cindy's (draft?) email to Casey--computer forensics report

My husband is a retired fireman, and in comparing the job of a police officer to a fireman, he says "people thank a fireman for putting out a fire or saving their life, but no one thanks police officers for giving them a ticket or arresting them." :)

Firefighting is a dangerous job, but sadly, now days I think more police officers are killed in the line of duty than firemen.

Members of both professions deserve our deepest thanks and admiration. :applause:

A nurse and a cop - wouldn't they know there was no way there was a "body" down the street since Caylee had been missing since mid June?

Hey logic! I've thought the same thing ... and when they sent Dominic to check out the area, he may have found something, a blanket or piece of clothing, a shoe or something of Caylee's to confirm that she had been there but didn't find her remains ... IMO the Ants knew there would be nothing left of Caylee except bones and wanted to make sure there were none around that could be found ... I guess they figured if THEY couldn't find anything after being told where she was, then no one else would ... Also, by the time Dominic searched those woods, TES had already stopped searches there so they didn't really have to worry about any kind of thorough, organized searches going on there ...

But .... they didn't figure on someone just stumbling upon the remains, they didn't figure on Kronk ... and thank goodness for that ...

ITA! There is no way that they would have left that baby down the street to rot if they had known early on that she was there. Now, I do believe that they knew in November when they sent DC down there to poke around in the dirt and rip into every garbage bag that he came across. They knew she was there then, and I don't doubt that they would have removed what was left of her and done something else with it so that she would never be found. They were in full cover-up for ICA at that point, and burying Caylees tiny bones in a shoebox under the playhouse would have been the "right" thing to do in their minds. They would have felt that they were giving Caylee a "proper" burial while keeping her close to the family, and at the same time they would have removed the one thing that could ensure ICA stayed in prison. JMO.

ITA! Can you imagine what it would be like or where we'd be right now if Caylee's remains were never found? The prosecution's case wouldn't be nearly so strong, and every couple of weeks Cindy would be announcing a new "sighting" of Caylee somewhere in the world. She'd be on television asking for donations to fund the search for Caylee.

I just wanted to comment that you are assuming that GA was the author of the email... However, I wouldn't put it past CA to "help" GA by sending a timely response in his absence.:waitasec:

Plus, much of the start date email sounded like it was transcribed from CA's mouth - after all, she is the professional in the family.:waitasec:

Interesting thought, quadlatte, but I'm not so sure that I can agree that the start date email sounds like CA - I can't really see her asking for a delay in GA's start date and therefore his next check, nor can I see her referring to herself as the "spouse(wife)" that has to have GA's assistance with some "medical tests" - and I think CA thought GA definitely had that job offered to him on the 24th as he stated even though it didn't happen that way according to the email he sent on the 30th which I think he may have sent because he had already told Security Forces that would be his last week and he was about to be without a job at all. So, even though I doubt CA wrote that email, I am now pondering the possibility that it could have been someone else who actually sent it while GA was at work...

ITA, I can't really see CA being complicit in GA putting off work...

The ONLY scenario that I can scrape up is that perhaps something popped up (something medical, which could include cleaning up KC's mess) that needed "rectified" and CA desperately needed GA at home more than she needed him at work that particular time period...

But yeah, that is the only real explanation for why CA would help GA get out of work, and it is admittedly flimsy...:blushing:

I've always felt that if George or anyone else helped Casey dispose of Caylee's remains, they wouldn't have simply tossed her remains around the corner from the house on Suburban Drive. Certainly George's law enforcement background would have made him think in terms of something more permanent and far away. I think he would have buried the remains in a location that's remote from the area and probably outside of Orlando. He would have thought about the remains being discovered and would have taken steps to prevent that.

The fact that Caylee's remains were found right around the corner from her home and not buried, has all the earmarks of Casey and Casey alone as having disposed of Caylee.

When I went to check out their neighborhood back in July, I took Colonial Drive (Florida route 50) eastbound back out to interstate 95. Not too far outside Orlando there are miles and miles of swamps, fields and inlets-and there are quite a few secluded dirt roads off the main road that lead back into hunting/fishing/recreational areas where there may be little to no human presence.

Even those of us with non-criminal intent can understand that you should put a body out there instead of near your home. When crime analysts say that mothers often put their dead children nearby for psychological reasons, they aren't lyin-cause anyone else would have taken her as far away from there as possible.
BUT-KC had no gas, ever. Perhaps she couldn't get that far even if she wanted to without risking having to have TL or someone else come get her. Then again, she could have made it priority to fill her tank up with gas using some of the money she had stolen.
:waitasec: I think I just implied that KC might use logic and planning skills....what the heck am I thinking!?!

I never thought about the gas issue. You are right, she did not have money for gas at the time because she was taking it from the gas cans. She could not have taken the body very far so her putting right down the street makes sense. jmo

Do you remember the very odd George Anthony storming into Nejame's press conference when he and Tim were showing the areal photos of the area being under water? Afterwards Mark said something that has haunted me, something to the effect of Baez sent pop over there with some misinformation, we have all talked, and pop is now assured that no one has been down there by the remains ( paraphrasing). I know that Mark has mentioned he had a informed idea of exactly what had happened to Caylee, he being in the middle of the storm for so long as the Anthony attorney. When he said this, it stopped me dead in my tracks. I remember thinking Mark just slipped up and eluded to mom and pop having knowledge that indeed Caylee was down there. How else would they have had a concern that someone had been down there messing with the remains. What did you make of that? Was Cindy with him?

I couldn't get video; only audio. : ( TWA, that is an awesome catch! Do we have that video clip saved anywhere? I'd sure like to see that one again! All I can say is if it can be proven that they were aware that that babys remains were there prior to being found, and that they sent DC there to do something other than just see if he could find them, they need to be locked away with their precious CEO! Everytime I think I can't get any madder at them. . . .:furious:!

Very Interesting! I've never been to Florida and don't know the topography, and from what you've described, a thinking, logical person with the intent to conceal a body, would opt for that area you describe outside of Orlando.

I think anyone but Casey would have made the decision to find that secluded area far from the Anthony home as the site of disposing of a body. That's why I can't see Casey having any help in the disposal of Caylee's remains, because anyone else would have chosen a place far away and off the beaten path.

I remember when George barged into that press conference, but didn't remember that George's anger was based on misinformation JB had given him. Thanks for the link to the article and video. There's so many things that have happened in this case, it's hard to remember every detail, and this is one I had forgotten - the reason for George's anger that day.

I always felt the direction of anger (fear) stemmed from the headline that day.

NeJame, Miller To Reveal All In Anthony Case
Thursday, August 20, 2009 11:02:19 AM

ORLANDO -- The former attorney for the Anthony family is revealing more about what he knows in the Casey Anthony case.

Attorney Mark NeJame will hold a press conference at his office Thursday at 2 p.m.
End Snip

When this happened, I thought George read that headline and freaked out!
Then he said the warning came from Baez. I found it odd that Baez did not show, only George and BC.

When the press tried to pin George down on what Baez said to him (IMO, they weren't buying his reason either) he (diverted) reverted quickly to his tried and true "How are we supposed to live through this? This has been hell, walk in our shoes, blah blah blah..."

I still wonder why he was so freaked out. I think George is a guy who knows a lot about alot of stuff.

"Over a month".............no amount of calendar manipulation makes this statement work out between June 15 and July 15, since it is exactly a month.

Could there be a cover up on the Mt. Dora visit?

nah, I just think grand-ma-ma was being overly dramatic. We've all seen that before ;)

MOO

iirc George stormed in and then BC (who I think works in the same building or close by) was called to go to NeJames office.

IMO..I remember George mentioning Baez. IMO storming into Nejame's office was orchestrated by Baez..I agree the headline got the ball rolling BUT IMO Baez worked George up to the point that George would be soooo upset that he would storm in and interrupting a press conference...Baez would have his hands clean because he could just say George misunderstood, he is emotional etc...

Okay, now I get it. I was trying to figure out why GA was upset about "someone down there look for the remains" when this press conf. took place in 2009. It was the headline in the paper. GA probably thought MN was going to tell all. That is intriguing. Thanks

I agree with mgardner, CA is being dramatic.
What does puzzle me though, and I've mentioned this before.....31 days? 31 days before July 15th would be June 14th......

Well it certainly confirms to me that GA was in a complete panic when he thought that MNJ was going to reveal what he knew about KC....
