Clint Dunn traveling to "I'm Not Buying It rally" on 2/27

What's the point of speaking at this rally? Some people have said it's for the exposure but I don't see how. Considering that everyone who's attending is probably passionate about the missing children cause, I would think that the majority of them already know about Hailey's case. Also, I did a Google search for this rally and it doesn't seem to be getting any press in the Dallas area so I don't think it's really the best way to get Hailey's face out there. They could probably get Hailey's face out to a lot more people just by doing interviews on Dallas (and another city in Texas) local news programs.

Also, don't most parents of missing children wait until their child is found, before they start appearing at rallies? The only exception I can think is Jacob Wetterling's mother but he's been missing for 21 years. I don't believe that Kyron's parents have appeared at any rallies.

ETA: Also, on their website, it says that the rally was Feb 18-Feb 20. Huh? So it already happened?

That is exactly what I think. If she has been sold into trafficking at least she is alive. And besides that I doubt that there are very many people up this far that are even familiar with this case. Any exposure I would think would be good. jmo

Some girls and women that have survived being victims of the sex trade have begged and pleaded with their captors to kill them as opposed to living this daily torture. I don't think the victims consider their being sex slaves being alive.

I think what was released today is BD's excuse to not attend! No way she will go now! I do not believe after today that anyone will want to listen to her about anything at all.

perhaps that is why they released the info it today to keep her here!

I HOPE SHE GOES TO THE RALLY. I really do. Now that the truth is leaking out, bit by bit, I hope she appears there. If she thinks Hailey's Angels are a tough crowd--wait until she is surrounded by an audience full of sexual abuse survivors. She will get nothing but Stink-Eye and Ju JU looks from the crowd. I hope she doesn't back out. Maybe she will even get heckled. LOL

Although I saw it with my own eyes earlier on the Traffic911 site, I now cannot find that notice about the "Parents of Hailey DUNN' speaking.
So, I googled and found the cache page as a back-up to them having been listed as speakers on the 27th.

Maybe the Facebook entries caught their eye.

Honesty, regardless of what anyone's opinion is of Billie... it would be a horrible move for them to let her speak. It would make them look horrible. They might as well say, "Yes, we know that Billie was found to have child pornography in her dresser drawer, but we don't think she knew it was there so we let her come speak anyway... with people who have been turned into child porn survivors."

Absolutely not. Billie should not even be at this rally, much less allowed to speak at it. It isn't just absurd at this point, it would be disrespectful to the survivors that will be there.

THANK YOU. That is a bit of a relief. It looks like they may be backtracking on their offer now.
They still have the announcement on their wall, but it is full of negative comments now,thankfully.
I do not think they are going to allow her to speak. I have no problem with the candlelight vigil for sweet Hailey. I think that is lovely. But skip the phony speech by Billie. Let Clint speak about her.

The poster posted on their Facebook just 11 hours ago is the version that does have Hailey's name on it.

ETA: I think what you have as the revised poster, is actually the original poster. The original poster did not have their name, because they had not yet been added to the agenda.

There is NO WAY Billie should speak at this rally now. I'd advise her to cancel the Monday interview also, but BD seems to have a problem with grasping what is best for Hailey, herself and her family in this case.

Several people have told me they posted that info prior to the child porn thing, and their posts were deleted, and they received messages from the admin saying the focus had to be on Hailey. Made no sense to me.

I'm just glad they're listening now. Anything to keep the cause against child abuse from being set back by having Billie speak on Sunday.
