Clint Dunn traveling to "I'm Not Buying It rally" on 2/27

Any word on this? What time was the rally scheduled to begin? I wonder how Clint did with his speech and if Billie dared to show her face.

The rally is at 2:00 and is on Sunday. If you are speaking of the traffik 911 rally in Mansfield.

I totally agree with you GrandmaJ.... I am certainly not pointing blame at Marc, but I hope I can explain why I have lost sleep over him. Because I have, this was a very emotional thing for me.

My daughter had her 8th birthday 3 weeks ago. I do not like extended family getting the kids presents and we instead pick an organization each year for them to donate to in their names.

This year, we had picked Klaas Kids even before Hailey went missing. When I sent out the email in January, I was told to "pick another one." Even family members who trust me, outright refused to donate to Klaas Kids, because of Billie. I was truly stunned and heartbroken.

We picked a cancer charity instead... and ended up with about $600. Obviously that's a wonderful cause. But that could have gone to searching for missing kids...

It really hit me that people who never heard about Klaas Kids until they watched Marc on Nancy, will write him off as "naive and easy to manipulate..." and "won't have anything to do with Klaas Kids, there are other groups."

People will truly believe that "due to the statements made by him about being there to support Billie... who knows what else she could manipulate him into." So they will hesitate or refuse to assist Klaas Kids in anyway. (Quotes are by my family members in response to my asking why they wouldn't donate to Klaas Kids.)

It breaks my heart to think of the damage that Billie could be doing. Our $600 might not be much.... but it might add up as time goes on. We don't know if Marc even still supports Billie. I have a hard time believing that he still would. If he doesn't, I hope he comes out and says that.

I hope it is clear that my concern about Marc's involvement here comes strictly from concern for Marc and Klaas Kids. Nothing more. No blame, no anger, just concern. I am glad that Billie is not attending this rally. That DOES help.

OK guys. Marc Klaas is an advocate for the child that is missing. In doing that at times he works with the parent to try to determine if he they will be helpful to the search and or presentation/exposure of the missing child.

Please, No one knows what goes on behind the closed doors of another. As things continue to surface are we to point blame or anger at those people that are out there trying to find Hailey? For what? What have they done except look for a missing little girl who we all want found.

We all got upset when BD did that with the Haileys Angels didn't we? When she pointed out all of their supposed failings?

If you want to be angry and frustrated and stomp your feet over this news of the pictures please aim that emotion where it rightfully belongs, and do not deflect it at those in Laura Recovery, Marc Klaas, or anyone else. These individuals are there for Hailey. Please remember that.

And remember Marc is a member of WS and how horrible words can hurt.

Clint Dunn said he looks forward to the event and hopes it will draw attention to many people's ignorance concerning missing and exploited children.

"I've got to get the word out on this," he said, "that 2,200 kids go missing every day. I'm not talking about some number I got off the Internet, I'm talking about these are the real numbers of kids reported missing."

He said he was disappointed at the news of what the search warrant uncovered because it puts more stress on the search and takes more attention away from finding Hailey.

"I work so hard to get everything ironed out," he said, "and when I finally do another wrinkle pops up."

I woke up this morning and prolly like many others here...HD was the first thing that popped into my mind.

I'm going to speculate here.....and maybe it's just a dream-like state I'm going with, but:

Since CD was not available for responding to the media over the findings of porn, maybe he was already on his way to Dallas.

MK is a smart cookie and it had me wondering why it seemed BD had him snowed. Maybe not. I couldn't also believe that LE was not updating him on what they had found.

I'm hoping and speculating that LE, from the phone records and/or puter learned of a possible link to Dallas for HD. That she may have been abducted/trafficked with the help of SA. CD's serving time was in fact being spent getting up to date with LE's findings, he's heartfully sprung out by a generous donor. He starts to buddy up with BD. MK was well aware and helps CD with the connections to the rally and getting him there to help search for HD, and Dallas PD, in the meantime, have been looking for her too. Talking to prostitutes, etc. Remember, the Super Bowl was a magnet for perps of underage girls and I'm sure there would have been "wantings" posted on unmentionable sites for them.

LE released some of their findings in time to reverse BD's invite and start putting the pressure on BD and SA to talk....along with the pressure of BD's mother's arrest. LE prolly figured SA would hide under his attorney's wing again.

Hopefully the vigil for HD after the rally will infact be CD bringing HD home again.

Maybe I'm still in that light dream state you experience when first waking, but I pray it become a reality.

Can anyone else think of anything that has happened in the past two weeks to point to this? TIA

I'm hoping it's slip up on the web-site after the change of plans for BD. There is nothing on there about a vigil for HD either.

No offense to Clint, his heart is in the right place, but I honestly cannot picture him giving a speech on any topic, much less one as complex as this one. I am imagining at most a few remarks on how Hailey disappeared "seeming from her own neighborhood". What can he really say? There is zero to connect her to trafficking, unless of course we learn next that SA is a trafficker...
