Trying to share the entire photo. This shows a good idea of his shoulders and frame.

Edited to add, click on the photo to see his face also. Hair seems darker here in this photo and he has some facial hair.
In fairness to those of us who saw feminine structural features in that back photo, I do see it even more clearly now.

He has an hourglass shape, with wider than normal male hips the same width as his narrower than normal male shoulders.

We are all different shapes and sizes. But he seems to just have an odd shape.

IMO.

Already on FB parents are coming out with these very grooming accusations--saying it happened at a school no one has even posted yet in this thread.
It’s been discussed. It's why I changed my theory from a random attack targeting the parents, to an attempted abduction that they thwarted.

This guy is a sick creep, and God knows what they are going to find on his devices.

What is that he's squatting in front of? Joined in 2011 so he would have been 14 years old then.
A keg of beer. Looks like a college party?

Search Mr McGann Oklahoma and he was hired at Bayyari Elementary in Springdale. The facebook post is removed but the cached result will still display from their school FB page. He goes by Drew.
Hm, subtle shifts in name, a type of concealment.

Not sure why it looks clear to me and like something is in it. I admit I don't drink; I've seen a keg or two, but many many years ago and this just didn't ring a bell. lol

Thank you to everyone that recognized it and chimed in. I now know it's a keg of beer. 🤣

Looks clear bc there is a layer of ice on top of it.

From presser

Podcast hurt the investigation. Potentially alerted the suspect. LE was deliberate with information and timing of information.

he might not have a podcast tomorrow as he may be busy eating a LOT of crow.

Great news .
Thanks for the updates everyone !!
Will check back in tomorrow.
Wondering if the perp had injuries ?
And how LE honed in on him.
Hope Clinton and Christine gave him total heck.
Imo.

My sheltered self has never seen a keg before and was thus going to reply, "some kind of ice bucket?" ☺️

According to a 2024 Sand Springs Public Schools meeting agenda, Andrew McGann was listed as after school staff for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Program.

The Oklahoma Department of Education describes the CCLC as a program which:

assists students attending high-poverty, low-performing schools in meeting academic standards in core subjects by providing services to students and their families during out-of-school hours.

I was just thinking about this. If he had a criminal record, I don't think he could be hired as a teacher. (Irony that he WAS hired as a teacher.)

Do schools ask for fingerprints?

jmopinion

Oklahoma requires a police check, which would include fingerprints. I didn't check Texas or Arkansas.

However, as we have seen before, what gets into the official police report is arrests, investigations, and dispositions, but unless a formal investigation is started allegations without action will not be reported.

We have also seen numerous times when licensing or hiring facilities either do not review the results or chose to ignore negative information reported, and a perp is allowed to continue on without action.

Yes, I believe he wanted to put one of the girls in the oversized duffel bag. Now, did he want her in the bag alive or dead--I'm not sure. My guess is alive bc of the mesh.

Whoa. I just started reading the posts here, didn’t know much about it earlier and wow, I’m amazed they’ve caught the culprit already.

Thank God. I saw the photo you guys posted earlier, the one from behind, and I assumed it would take forever to identify and locate him.

It is so disheartening to me that he was a teacher. I taught in the same school in NYC for over 25 years. You absolutely have to be fingerprinted before you are hired, and you have a few years in which you must get your Master’s degree.

A person like this, who constantly changes his name, his location and his place of employment would be Red Flag Central.

In NYC where we have a very strong teachers’ union, there is a history of principals who “pass the trash.” If they can’t fire a tenured teacher, they’ll try to ship them to another school. That’s unfortunate, since they should not be teaching at all.

It’s entirely possible that this maniac indeed was drawn to teaching for nefarious purposes, and perhaps why he kept fleeing to other schools and other states. I’m not sure if any of his states required a Master’s as is mandatory in NY, but that would also strike me as someone who couldn’t cut it academically.

In all my years of teaching, there was one man who turned out to be a pedophile. There was proof and he was fired and arrested, but at least he did not kill parents.

These brave parents and these bereft children! I can’t take it.

wait, who was the podcaster they were referring to in the presser?

I feel for the cat. I hope family or someone will step up and the poor thing won't be in a shelter too long, or worse. It's not his or her fault. I would inquire in a few days, but my own fluffy house sultan is 19 and hates other cats.

I thought about the mesh, thinking that would make (God forbid but...) a body perfectly visible, but if the bag was worn vertically, the mesh would be mostly against the back.

Just a reminder that the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 photo in custody is from a sterile, somewhat ideal "set" and not a photo or a remembrance of an eyewitness. He's standing on a specifically marked spot and told to look at the " birdie" so to speak. A tilt of the head, a shade from a tree or a sunbeam drastically can change perspective. Thankfully they got him and more importantly people came forward and gave descriptions to the best of their ability at the time. That is freakin awesome and hopefully helped nail this pyscho!

I live in the area and was actually driving nearby less than an hour after the murders at Devil’s Den. My family and I were coming back from a trip and decided to take the back roads home instead of the main highway. The GPS kept trying to reroute us and was pushing this narrow, winding road as a shortcut. I had a weird gut feeling and even joked that it felt like a Deliverance road, so I ignored it and stuck with our original route.

Later, when more details came out, I realized the suspect might have used that same road to get out of the area. It’s been hard not to think about how close we might have been.

I didn’t post this earlier because it didn’t feel like it added anything useful. But now that someone has been arrested, it feels a lot more personal.

The suspect lives in my city. He was just hired to teach at my kids’ old elementary school. I still know teachers who work there. It’s really unsettling to think someone capable of something like this was about to be in that environment.

I’m heartbroken for Clinton and Cristen Brink’s family, especially their daughters. What they went through is unimaginable. The fact that they were able to go find help is incredibly brave. I hope they’re surrounded by support and care as they begin to heal.

Pompous pile of poop. He criticized LE heavily, now who looks stupid. They made an arrest in three days.
