Marci Graves, water clerk with city of Prairie Grove, said the couple applied to have their water turned on July 16 at a duplex in Prairie Grove. The wife’s driver’s license had South Dakota as the state. For occupations on the service agreement, the woman listed Washington Regional for her and Hiland Dairy for him.

Hiland Dairy confirmed Clinton Brink had transferred from its parent company, Prairie Farms Dairy, from South Dakota and was scheduled to start his job as a driver delivering milk in the Fayetteville area on Monday.

So Clinton was a truck driver.
Wondering whether some dispute may have started involving the duplex they moved into - or the new truck driving position. Had the job been recently held by someone who left it involuntarily ? Maybe the older daughter can cast some light about anything like that.

If he had tape in his car and only used it after the attack, then perhaps premeditation isn't automatically assumed.
Not sure why he would have the tape with him and would take precious time to actually use it to cover his plate if he randomly killed someone without premeditation. That must have taken a few minutes to do. Who would stop to do that before leaving a crime scene if they were the perp?

If it was electrical tape maybe someone who uses it for their job and had it in their car?

I’ve just caught up on this thread - these type of cases always make my mind go back to Rachel, Laken and Ashling (plus the many more people murdered on trails) 🥲

Im going more towards a confrontation starting this off rather than a completely random attack (I feel if it was random the victim would more likely be a sole female)

My thoughts go out to those two young girls - also huge thanks to the adults who found the girls on the trail and helped them.

That's even smaller to work with and would take longer. Most people would immediately flee after committing murder, I would think. Not saying it's not possible he stopped to tape it up first, but I find it highly improbable personally.

Also it would be abit of a pointless exercise doing it after the murders..

As his reg would’ve been shown on the camera driving into the car park - they’d just pull up all of the same cars that entered the park that day and investigate them all.

Also I don't know any duct tape or electrical tape that you can tear by hand; those you have to cut, don't you? That takes even more time. That's something you do in preparation, not in a blind panic to flee the scene.

I could see him ( perp) backing his car into a parking spot so the plate didn't show, put tape on it then go on the trail. Just a thought. IMO

Edit to add: Do we have a timeline of when others said they saw him? Could he have been on the trail prior to the Brinks even going on the hike? He could have been looking for his victims for hours. Just wondering if he was noticed around the same time or earlier etc.

I have seen several posts referring to mom taking kids to the car but have apparently missed the link. Do you have a link you can share where it is indicated that mom and kids ran to the visitors office and mom went back? Thank you so much.
I have looked & cannot find a link to verify. Believe it’s just a rumor.

I tear pieces of duct tape off the roll all the time. Not hard at all.

A lot of trades use electrical tape - too many to list, but truck drivers keep it handy in case of wiring shorts on trailer lights.

Just throwing this out there-electrical tape is typically less than an inch wide. That’s a lot of work and tape to cover a license plate. Maybe instead it was duct tape, that would make more sense.

You can tear both, if I don’t have something to cut duct tape with, I start a tear with my teeth, then rip it.

Really? The kind I have just warps and makes me angry. It's also possible I have a 25 yr old roll of it. Maybe they changed it over the years?

Based on that 911 info someone posted earlier where someone reported it had one of those temporary license plates taped on. That could be the license plate with tape on/over it.

I was hoping he would have been apprehended via his vehicle caught on video somewhere by the time I got back to this thread. Wishful thinking on my part. This horrible person must be caught.

What officials need from you

Investigators are asking those who visited the park on Saturday to check any photos or videos they took for images of the suspect, as well as residents in the surrounding area to notify ASP if they have access to security and game camera footage.

Anyone with information or relevant footage should call ASP Troop L at (479) 751-6663.
Authorities say they are pursuing all leads and working with local, state, and federal agencies to track down the suspect.
