I've never seen a trial that revolved around everyone involved's personal lives like this one has.

#McStay - Jurors resume deliberations at 1:30pm PDT today. We don't have an explanation of why it's not a full day of deliberations.

I will be home before they start deliberating today LOL I guess if they took their scheduling tips from the way the trial was run the last 5 months, this should not be a surprise.

I cant even begin to comprehend how this three ring circus, AKA trial...has profoundly affected all of the family members who have sought justice for their love ones.

The DTs abhorrent behaviors throughout must feel like a slap in the face to Summer, and Joey's love ones.

Yeah, I don’t think you could see the backs of the checks. I think they included just images of the fronts back then. If you wanted a back, you had to request it and they would make it available in your inbox when you signed into your online app.

I'm a retired banker. Financial institutions have always been required to either supply actual checks or the fronts and backs digitally. No exceptions.

In my opinion, he was a part of the defense team, and here is why I say this. The documentary was said to be 'following the defense attorneys' through out the trial. So RW was going to attend private DT meetings, attend the hearings with the judge and PT, go on back to the DT office after the trial each day, maybe be there on their work days between court days, etc.

At that point, you are a part of the defense team, in my opinion. You are included in strategy meetings and private discussions with the client, etc etc.

Wait until the 'documentary' comes out. It will be a long commercial for their defendant's innocence, imo. That is the purpose of the project.

Exactly. Mr Wallace is officially an officer of the court. It was approved by the judge irregardless of his duties. The entire defense team could and should feel the heat for his infractions.

I wouldn't even refer to it as a documentary.

The DT is in it for fame and $, IMO. So much for their silence for the victims. They disgust me.

Lol! That is why I refer to these kind of documentaries as crocumentaries.

They are so one sided, and biased as they can possibly get, and are far from the truth.

That's why I continue to be amazed that some really do buy into these kind of documentaries when they are purposefully all slanted to project only one misconstrued point of view.

Imo, which are only meant to deceive, and hide all of the facts, and truths from being known, and presented.

That's the reason all the facts/truths are always suppressed in these kind of documentaries. Imo

I guess these one sided documentary producers have learned how easily it's become to sway many in the public by only presenting one side to them.

Imo, documentaries like this one are nothing more than brainwashing propaganda conduits, and nothing more.

Hi ocean, I agree it has been a real fiasco. That's whom i keep thinking about are the families of the victims. They are waiting a long time for the justice in these horrific murders and where is the respect for that and the victims?

This is the very reason I don't waste my time watching any one sided biased documentary.

They are a farce imo. When all the truth is never presented the real truth will never be known.

I do enjoy watching any documentaries about D-Day or WW2, about our amazing fallen heroes who have fought, and died for our freedoms.

I can think of three killers who have variously police statements, interviews, book, doco etc that can't be reconciled.

In all my days of Court T.V. watching etc never seen such insanity as we've seen here almost daily. What is going through these individual jurors heads?

Are they star struck from the coming documentary? Is there at least one who has gotten wind of the latest defense efforts and will it affect their decision making?

I'm thinking yes and now predicting long deliberations, squabbling and ultimately a mistrial. All for notoriety on film. Hope I'm wrong but the chances of all 12 being of good character are slim imo. There's always an attention seeker in every group.

I do worry about the same.

If one juror causes a mistrial then they know they can write a book about being the one who threw the case into a tailspin.

Nope, not like this.

They might be going out of their way to accommodate a few jurors at this point. If they have to restart half of the jury might up and quit.

I guess I can understand this, but at the same time, they are dileberating in a trial where a family of 4 have been murdered, their families have waited for 9 long years already, and they should be deciding the fate of the defendant. I think everyone involved, including the jurors should feel that urgency. imo nothing should surprise me at this point though lol hopefully they can all stay until 4

Thanks. I really hope this is a swift guilty verdict. I had doubts they'd even make it this far without a mistrial which it looks like they just attempted yesterday with Robert Wallace. I wonder if he will be held in contempt.

As far as I know the documentary team hasn't approached anyone from the PT side. It sounds to me like it will be very one sided and will probably focus on Merritt being a scapegoat and was railroaded by the big bad government. Lol

The trial has gone on forever though and jurors might have important appointments that were scheduled months ago when people thought this would be long over with. I know it's all odd but think on HOW long these people have been serving by now. And what an impact on their daily lives. I feel for them and also trust they are not frivolously requesting "a morning off " -- but that there are valid reasons. My hat off to them, in general.

I readily admit I always worry about any verdict happening in any CA trial.

This one has made me worry the most due to how shady this DT has been from beginning to end. Well scratch that. There may be more unethical behavior by the DT to come before its over.

I hate to even think any juror would put their own self centered interest before serving justice for any victims. However I am very worried it could happen in this particular case.

We have been shown this DT cannot be trusted. Imo.

Imo they have no ethical boundaries as to how low they are willing to go to get a cold blood killer off or to hang the jury so they can once again suck the CA taxpayers dry again by a retrial.

I don't put anything past them. I think they are capable of anything no matter how low they have to go. Sadly, I find them very much like their very own client in this trial, CM
