Might be a nice add for that documentary though,

verdict in but... wait for it nearly three days!

And Wallace can't be in the courtroom for the verdict. lol

I think its really unfair to the families to make them wait the weekend.

I also think it is unfair to the defendant.
Exactly, there is plenty of daytime to just get it over with, FGS.

I wonder why they have to wait until Monday? Maybe the judge wasn't available today?

If it turns out he is on the golfcourse today, I am going to join the club who is pizzed off. :)

Yeah...if it was not guilty why wouldn't they just read it and be done with it. Instead of making a not guilty man sit in prison another 2 days. It has to be guilty. MOO
I like the way you think !

It seems a likely scenario that waiting until Monday is to accommodate the family.

The snarky comments here about the jury have been pretty disheartening. So many conclusions drawn without having all the facts. Reasonable questions and criticisms of the court’s handling of a case are one thing, but some people here act like the trial should be tailored to the desires of followers of the case, like it’s a reality show. Everyone who has been following this case is impatient, that only makes sense, but if there is a reason it’s better to wait until Monday, that’s okay too.

After 3 day torturous wait they better give a guilty verdict.

Also I can’t imagine the family this weekend as it’s jusy ridiculous. Let’s just extend their pain even more.

What?? Why would they leave after an hour?? What is going on?

MOO

Imo, they all slept on it overnight, and filled out the proper paperwork this morning because all 12 still agreed.

The jury still has to go through the sentencing phase before they're released.

Yes, and judge already said if it was guilty he'd give them a couple days off to prepare for the next phase.

I'm unsure if they could change their mind... they usually poll the juror's at the end, if one says "no" that's not my verdict now... then what? I don't think it happens often, but giving them 3 days to go home and ponder the thought... whether it's the the thought of letting a guilty man go free, or having doubts about his guilt, I just don't see how this is a good thing at all, 3 friggen days???

@gitana1 now that they have reached a verdict, did the judge review that verdict already? or will that be done on Monday as well? TIA

I think that the polling has to be a last chance for the jury members to change their mind—even if it is mainly ceremonial.

@gitana—can you answer that question too? :)

We need a new poll, really. Based on how this is developing, who believes the verdict monday will be Guilty...

I missed that. I wonder if it's still relevant given they'll have this delay now.

Ok. So this is for the family and they are ok with it. Good info, thank you.

Maybe it is for the family. God bless each of them. But yesterday the insider said he was sitting with family waiting for the call.

What the hell, give the jury time to change their mind, not buying it. A verdict is a verdict no changing minds.

Raising my hand...GUILTY.
