Yes he is! He gives a far more detailed account of what's happening in the courtroom in his tweets. Cathy has retweeted alot of his tweets so I think she's in agreement with us! I still appreciate Cathy's tweets as she posts pictures and GIFs which are great if you're unable to follow by watching the live streaming!

Fireworks in Chase Merritt trial. With jury out of court, prosecutor accuses defense of misconduct and violating rules of professional conduct. Why? During closing, defense asked why prosecutor didn’t call a McStay business partner, in violation of judge order.

Safe to say prosecution team was really angry. Defense said he didn’t know not to bring it up because he was not in court at time of judge ruling. McStay family reacted with disgusted sigh.

They did and he overruled it because he forgot his previous order.

So then they had to go back through the record and read it back to him, because they told him at the time this is what they would do.

McGee could have provided a rigorous defense in this trial without resorting to dirty tactics. I really wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, and believe that he's just a decent guy who takes his job very seriously. He's talked of "hatred" so much in his closing statement, and claims the cops and the prosecutors are trying to turn the whole world against poor old Chase. I think it's Mr. McGee who has plenty of 1st person experience with festering hatred. It's dripping from him, in his speech and his body language. He has no problem expending every ounce of his "ailing" body in trying to brainwash the jury, or in trying to sell his corruption scheme to 1 juror he's hoping may be just a little suspicious of law enforcement. He stooped to the lowest level with his little performances today. I think the jurors are sizing him up as an actor and an overly dramatic fruitcake, and I believe this is coming across to them as desperation. Does McGee have some sort of bone to pick with the DA or law enforcement? It sure seems that way.

Hmmm, how can judicial mistakes be set right? At this stage in the proceedings? If it were a game, they could tell the prosecution to go ahead and say whatever THEY want. But CM, whatever we think of him, has rights, and this isn’t a game. It seems to me that even if McGee can claim ignorance of the judge’s earlier ruling, Maline can’t. Shouldn’t he be subject for penalty, for not speaking up? His duty to his client doesn’t cover dishonesty in the court, I’m sure.

Sounds like the judge is losing it. If WE all remembered that he ruled that—HE should have!
