Cannot ... WLL NOT listen to Nurmi tomorrow.
Heard all the bull hockey I ever need to hear from the defense.
I'll instead follow along with the super play by play by all you wonderful folks tomorrow.
(hazardous duty pay to all who can listen to Nurmi tomorrow as he drones on throwing every bit of scum they do)
I'll watch live stream again when the defense is done and Juan gets the last word in. (the TRUTH)

Juan was (as always) masterful ... Step by step he laid out the whole truth.
Explained charges against JA - that this was premeditated murder 1.
Bravo Juan ... Excellent work and stellar ethics for the memory of a young man taken way too soon from life on this good earth.

I loved his beach analogy. I wish the other jury, from other case, was told that scenario, to demonstrate circumstantial/direct evidence.

ok now im going back to catch up on the beginning. preparing myself for amazingness

josie: I am right behind you! I was watching azcentral and it was terrible coverage and I missed a lot.

That was awesome and draining. The courtroom was somber at the end. He
He left no stone unturned. Brilliant. Wonder what he will say on Monday.

Felonies are also stealing the gun if they assume her version is true because it happened during a killing, and also remaining in the house during the stabbing, if I understood Juan correctly.

Exactly. A felony (gun theft) occurs during the commission of another felony (murder) is what he was trying to say. After the first stab (commencement of class X felony) she is no longer welcome on the premises.

BOTH counts are covered. There is no way out.

Wilmott looked pi$$ed.

JW said something to Jodi and stopped taking notes at a point. Never picked up her pen after that. They would be fools not to talk her into pleading guilty and asking for LWOP.

I had to leave for a bit....

Did Juan use

1)i'd beg for the death penalty
2)no jury will ever convict me
3)the pedophile stuff

THANKS, I really need to know lol

I didn't hear him say anything about 1, but I was interrupted a couple of times.

He did discuss number 2, and mocked her. :giggle:

And he spent a lot of time discounting number 3, and he berated her for trying to murder his reputation after she killed him.

JW: "Now don't forget to pack your pencils."

MS: "Don't worry Jodi. We believe you."

----

Thank you Juan Martinez.

At the end if the day...Jodi Ann snuggling up to mitigation specialist. Worried Jodi Ann? You should be.
She's not smirking today, is she? To top it all off, she's sitting there pouting and everyone else gets up and leaves. Ha!

that "high school" note passing whispering only that side has done throughout really irritates me.

I know steph, right? And the jury sees it too! They called out Lav on her non verbal communication with the DT

"and now he will bask in another type of light,THE TRUTH" 2mins in and i am in awe

  • #1,977
arias looking nasty as usual and coloring on paper and gesticulating to wilmott and the mitigation asst. (oookay... )

also: don't forget.. wilmott may be up tomorrow but Juan has THE LAST WORD.

Is JW doing the closing for sure? Earlier today someone posted that it would be KN.

The jury will never forget Juan's image of them carrying Jodi's gas cans.

It's a moment like "If the glove don't fit, you must acquit"...only better because it is the truth.
